Perfect for an afternoon break - Edit
We stopped only for desserts, so we had pancakes and a walnut cake along with coffee.
Read moreSince it was late in the afternoon, it was very calm.
What we had was delicious, and we loved the tableware.
It's centrally located right next to the Cathedral and it only closes for one hour between lunch and dinner, so it's a great spot to have a small break.
Next time I'll make sure to try their lunch menu!

Este local es el idóneo. Muchas opciones para un buen desayuno, en un local con una decoración que, personalmente, me encantó. La comida muy buena. Me hubiera gustado alguna opción más para la hora de la comida, de ahí 4 estrellas y no 5. Aún así, recomendado 100%!

Onderweg naar een andere bestemming besloten we even Antwerpen in te gaan voor een lekkere lunch. Plant B sprong er wel uit, we waren benieuwd!
Read moreNa een kort wandelingetje kwamen we aan. We waren er bijna voorbij gelopen. Je ziet niet direct dat dit restaurant hier zit, geen flashy lichten of grote aanduidingen dat je er bent. Gelukkig hadden we het gevonden!
Binnen was het allemaal ruim opgezet. Grote, ruime ruimte met wat tafels. Het was op maandagmiddag lekker rustig. We mochten plaatsnemen. Bestellen van eten en drinken gaat via de QR code op de tafel. Je betaalt ook direct via online betalen wanneer je je bestelling plaatst. Dit voelt ergens wat gek en ergens ook wel heel onpersoonlijk. Je ziet de bediening enkel wanneer zij eten of drinken komen brengen, weinig contact.
We bestelden de BLT en de No Salmon. Van beide krijg je twee ruim belegde boterhammen. Dit was ideaal, zo konden we delen (allebei 1 boterham van de sandwiches). De sandwiches smaakten heerlijk! Complimenten aan de kok😄De sandwiches stonden ook snel op tafel, geen lange wachttijden voor ons. Dat was prettig! De smaken complementeerden elkaar perfect.
De prijs kwaliteit verhouding voor het eten is goed. Drinken is wat aan de dure kant.
We hebben genoten van de broodjes en de dingen die langskwamen die anderen hadden besteld zagen er ook goed uit. Als wij nog eens in de buurt zijn, zullen we zeker overwegen nog eens terug te komen. De centrale ligging/locatie is zeker een pluspunt!

Tasty sandwiches - Edit
This restaurant has moved, it now shares a space with Kala Fiore (Plant B during lunch, Kala Fiore for dinner). You order online by QR code. We got the no egg salad sandwich and the BLT. Both were very large open face sandwiches with one inch thick bread. They were both tasty, though I prefer the BLT off the two.

Disappointing / better options elsewhere - Edit
We went to PlantB as we had not been there yet and happy to try new all vegan places. The restaurant is understaffed, that is one big problem. They were not very welcoming to be honest. You have to scan the menu with a QR code. We were waiting and waiting and suddenly realised that you had to order via the electronic menu that you get with the QR code. It is written that you have to do that in very small letters and in Dutch. Staff had not told about this. So we ordered electronically, what feels cold and distant despite being time saving for them. In all we had to wait nearly for 1 hour to get a vegan salmon sandwich and an orange juice. The food itself was ok in quantity but you could really feel that it was rushed and there was no love put into it. They made an obvious choice: the more tables the bigger the profit. There are other places in Antwerp where you will be able to eat in a more personal and friendly way than here. Avoid if you can.

We just moved to a much bigger place and are still finding our new balance.
Unfortunately there was a day recently where a staff member was sick while it was an exceptionally busy day.
Normally we welcome each individual customer and quickly explain how to order via the code, which does indeed work much faster for everyone.
It is certainly not normal that you had to wait an hour for your lunch, usually serving time is within 10-15min after ordering.
We continuously try to improve our offer and service and will take your remarks into consideration.

We were happy to find a vegan place open on Sunday as we were visiting antwerp.
Read moreHowever the welcoming is not really warm and in front of the place it was quite dark. You have to scan a qr code to order your food, which we find personally distant and cold way of welcoming customers.
The food was good and tasty , on that point its a plus.
We would have been happy to have a bit more on the menu but maybe Sunday lunches choices are limited...
Well, I can't say that I don't recommend, because we appreciated the food and the fact that it's fully vegan but maybe we will give them time to adapt before trying again.

Nieuwe locatie is net een grote huiskamer, gezellig idee maar nog wat donker/niet af (van buiten waren we niet eens zeker of het restaurant open was). Bestellen gaat via QR code waarmee je ook betaalt (wat het een beetje onpersoonlijk maakt, maar zal vast een stuk sneller zijn). In ieder geval SUPER lekker gegeten! Wel op tijd langskomen, want tegen de namiddag zijn sommige dingen uitverkocht😄

Different location. Very dark and old Interior. Food is great though, but would no longer recommend this place. Order by QR code only. I ordered a dish that was no longer available, had to choose another one and pay again. All around us things went wrong. Not very well organised unfortunately.

We have just moved two weeks ago and are still in the process of setting things up. We simply had to get a bigger space because the old place was far too small and we always had to refuse customers.
As for the QR codes, they are a great improvement overall to the speed and accuracy of the service, but sometimes mistakes still happen.

Was in Antwerp for a day during my two month solo interrailing trip around Europe and this cafe wasn’t too far from my hostel. I hadn’t really had a chance to have a look at the menu so was surprised and how many imaginative options there were. You have to order online and I was lucky I managed go get a spot sat on the bar as after I arrived they had to turn people away! I’d say book to avoid disappointment! I had the Zalm, which was vegan salmon, avocado, scramblers tofu and cream cheese. It was very tasty, filling and 100% worth the price. The cafe itself is very cozy with friendly staff, the perfect place for a rainy morning brunch. I’m from the UK and I really wish we had somewhere like this where I’m from! Highly recommend

Very disappointed after reading all the reviews . It was almost closing time so a lot was sold out . It that understandable . We had pancakes ,my son loved those . I had the tapas platter , a plate with all kinds of veggies and spreads and 3 little blocks of feta for 20 euro , way to expensive . And panini , very expensive for so little . ( also it said on the menu pea guacamole but had avocado instead , they should mention because my son doesn’t like avocado so he had nothing) everything had sesame seeds on , should also mention that. Because it is an allergen .

I'm not a brunch type of person, the bar is set up as such. The narrow, cozy setting with broad offer of juices and specialty coffees was not what we were looking for, so it was probably more a mismatch in time and place for us.
