Excellent cooking class and food - Edit
I came here for a lunch and I discovered their cooking class. It was a beautiful experience, I learned so many things about Vietnamese products, markets, culture and food. Linh has good knowledges and I enjoyed the dishes I made so much. Thank you again 🙏🙏

Love their puffed tofu bánh mì - Edit
We visited Nhat Da several times for their bánh mì, which was one of my favourites in the area. The fillings are really juicy and flavourful and I particularly liked the puffed tofu. On our third visit, they gave us an enormous tub of chilli sauce to help ourselves from as they knew how spicy we liked it. We also tried a few other menu items, including their pho and a couple of other noodle dishes, but found they weren’t up to much.
Read moreI’m confused by the comments claiming that this restaurant is fully vegan, as we saw dishes on the menu containing dairy cheese, condensed milk, yoghurt, honey, and egg, to name a few. Is it possible we were given an old menu?
Pros: Lovely tofu bánh mì 🥖 , Friendly owners 😊
Cons: Non-vegan items on the menu 🤔

Amazing cooking class and good food - Edit
Not only is the food delicious but the vegan cooking class taught us a lot about authentic local dishes, vegetables and fruit. Cooking class is at a very fair price, good value for money. The owner has 20 plus years of experience, knows English very well and her family are super approachable and friendly. Definitely highly recommend eating here/doing the cooking class here.

Extremely good! - Edit
After a long 5 days of constant travel we finally ended up in Hoi An for a few days, this is the first place we went for dinner and it was such a welcome treat! We ordered lots and it was all incredibly good, the lady who runs it speaks English and is really sweet 😊 so good that we went back the next day for pancakes and coffee! Highly recommended!

Cooking class! Vegan restaurant - Edit
This is a compeltely vegan restaurant. I spent 4 hours with the owner, Lin, for an amazing cooking class! The place was owned by her parents and has been open for 37 years! They offer a few vegetarian options before for tourists but have switched to filly vegan (as is she). I can not say enough good things about her cooking class. Firstly, the cheapest I found. Her English is impeccable. Our market visit was so so fun! I peppered her with questions about food, culture, and life and she shared so much! The dishes we made were unreal and I learned a few important cooking techniques to ensure I maximize flavours. She is so lovely! Please book here!! We also had breakfast and it's great she makes her own nut milk, cashew yogurt, mayonnaise, etc.

Lovely family business.
Read moreWe ordered Cao lau, wonton soup, steamed buns and fried rice. Cao lau was average compared to other places, but reflected in the price as a third of the proce of other eateries. 40-80k per dish.

Cheap and reliable - Edit
Reliable and fast service and hard-to-beat prices. Short walking distance from the old town and the Cao Lau was tasty. Garlic fried bok choy had a lot of flavour.

Brilliant wee restaurant. After discovering it my partner and I couldn't stop going back. Highly recommend. Everything is delicious but the dipping sauce that comes with the mock meat is a must try, will be trying to make it at home but I doubt I'll ever make it quite as good!

Very friendly family-run restaurant— and so tasty! Had the pho for breakfast and cau lao for lunch another day. Would highly recommend both, but especially the cau lao, which is a regional specialty dish in Hoi An.

Wonderful food and excellent service despite owner being called away to help care for his father. This was explained in the restaurant by a sign. His mother and son were very helpful and served tasty food.
