Ok food, friendly family - Edit
Small family owned restaurant. The owner said everything on the menu is vegan (which I doubt because the couple next to us had burgers which would come with 'vegan mayo' but didn't look like they had any sauce inside). I had the banana leaf salad which tasted good at the beginning, but after a few minutes I started tasting some mold or something like that, so I didn't finish the dish. Don't know if it had something to do with my tastebuds or not, but I seemed to have found some piece of banana flower in my salad which looked like it had mold on it... My boyfriend had a traditional Vietnamese noodle dish with mock meat. Tasted ok, but was not very warm unfortunately. Asked for a smoothie without a straw, which came with a straw unfortunately. Prices are ok.

Nothing special - Edit
Went there because of all the good reviews. Had the beans, the braised pa choi and 5-seasons salad. The veggies were okay, but very oily, the beans looked like Heinz baked beans from the can with some added ginger. Maybe I ordered the "wrong" things, but yeah, it was a below average tastewise.
Read moreAlso, although prices seem reasonable, the portions are pretty small.
The service was friendly but slow.
Updated (3.9.2019):
Initially gave it 3 stars. Went there the second time, ordered steamed tofu in tomato sauce which was pretty good (looks like they make tofu in-house) and the steamed dumpling which was also nice.
Pros: Friendly, good choices
Cons: Not that cheap, oily, hit-or-miss menu

Really good food - Edit
We went here twice in our stay in Hoi An, the people who work there are really friendly and stayed open a little later for us as we rocked up just after 8. The steamed buns were 15k VND and literally to die for. The Cao Lau (Hoi An’s local dish) is also really good and worth a try it was 35k VND. A nice spot in the old town

Best food & vegan cooking class - Edit
This vegan family restaurant has already been up for 30 years. The lady who owns it now has been vegan her entire life (38 years). The food is wonderful and cheap. But mostly I would recommend the cooking class. She picks you up at your hotel and takes you to the central local market. She takes her time to show you around, make you taste nice Vietnamese snacks and teaches you all sorts of things about food, herbs, oil, veggies, fruit ect. She doesn’t take big groups and teaches you off menu recipes. LOVED IT!!

Wonderful value and delicious food - Edit
This little place provided one of the best meals so far in Vietnam, and was so cheap! We had the fried spring rolls, a bao bun, and the mock meat noodle dish- all very tasty. Plus two rounds of drinks, including a vegan iced chocolate with soy milk (exciting as I rarely get to drink this kind of thing!) Very friendly staff, would defo recommend.
