Just ok - Edit
The spring rolls were nice. The mock meat was not good and not what I ordered (small greasy portion). The grandson then gave me a discount but the grandmother then added as as full price and there was confusion as grandson had left. Not a great dining experience (the mother I think who usually cooks and speaks good english is away so this review may not reflect how it will be when she is back).

I don't know wether it's necessary to haggle about couple cents bargain, when each meal is less then two dollars... And especially vegan food stalls went through times the last two years...

Quite busy little restaurant - Edit
Unfortunately I have to give only 3 stars because the second dish (Hamburger) was a total dissapointment. Usually I try to eat local dishes, but every now and then I go back to western food. Furthermore, it looked interesting in the picture, some creamy sauce with herbs and dill and veggy patty. Although, in reality it was a burger bun with some tomato, cucumber and extra thin and smal patty. On the other hand, Cau Lau was nice, it was my first time to try it and I enjoyed it. I would say prices are average and menu has many options to choose from. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Lastly, ginger tea was lovely.

Great find for veggie family - Edit
This cosy little find just outside of the Old Town of Hôi An was brilliant. 2 members of my family are veggie and so Nhat Da was a great find in a country where it can be difficult to get the message of no fish sauce, no fish, no meat across.
Read moreThe food was tasty, with lots of options of Vietnamese dishes that we've found unaccessible so far such as papaya salad. My family and I enjoyed the meal, and I'd highly recommend the restaurant.
Pros: Lots of vegan options., Cheap for a UK tourist.

Tasty & fresh - Edit
Really good food, I had a noodle dish with loads of fresh Veggies and the lemongrass tofu. Friendly and smiley staff too!

Some nice dishes - Edit
We had Cao Lau (40k) and a special pancake (not Banh Xeo - 69k) for lunch. The pancake was excellent and I really recommend this one, but the noodles hadn’t a real taste and where just noodles with some tofu and salad. We just tried this two dishes and wouldn’t take the noodles again, but the place is nice. A bit outside the tourist area and the stuff was friendly. The prices are average for Hoi An.

Durchschnittlich - Edit
Ziemlich durchschnittliches Lokal.

Amazing food - Edit
Delicious local cuisine! Very tasty and flavorful with herbs and seeds. All the food is freshly cooked with fresh organic ingredients. Chili sauce, tofu, seitan and soy milk is home made. They grow a few ingredients in their own garden as well. Great mock meats. Took the cooking class today. Was very good. Since 1989

Lovely ambience, good food - Edit
We had the local Vietnamese dish Lau cau, which is a kind of fried noodle with greens and mockmeat (think they used tofu). It was delicious, but a bit mild. She also gave us a yummy chilly sauce that went really well with everything. The dumpling soup looked really good too.

Do the vegan cooking class - Edit
We did the cooking class with the woman who owns the place with her parents. She took us to the markets and showed us where all the ingredients are bought. She taught us about local vegetables and fruits. The whole restaurant is vegan as the family are strict Buddhists. The food we made was simple, fresh and delicious. A lovely way to spend a few hours.
