Delicious coffee and brunch - Edit
I visited Maza Terapija on a Saturday morning and it felt a bit chaotic at first - the waitress informed me that not every meal on the menu is available yet (this was right after they opened in the morning) but wouldn't say what I can order. So she let me look at menu, choose what I wanted and ask if it's available (makes total sense). Luckily, the chickpea frittata was available. I waited for what seemed like a solid 20 minutes for my food (I almost felt that the same waitress wasn't in rush to get the order ready for me). I didn't love that part of the experience but the food was great. A huge portion size, too big even. I would 100% go back.

Friendly place with such a positive atmosphere! - Edit
Cozy bistro close to the city centre. Nice and helpful staff, quick service. Enjoyed the visit so much! The choice is quite wide, I decided to try a schnitzel with roasted potatoes and salad, The dish seemed to be a little overcombined to my taste at the first time, but finally the mixture of tastes worked together very well😄
Read moreBut even more than the food I enjoyed the great atmosphere of the bistro.
I also bought two cakes which we had for breakfast next day at home, and they were absolutely delicious!
Pros: Great atmosphere, Tasty food and deserts, Nice staff, quick service

Great burger, less good mango curry - Edit
I had the tofu burger, which was amazing. But my partner had the mango curry, which wasn't so good. The sweet potatoes were a bit undercooked.

Favorite place with vegan food in Riga - Edit
We've tried a few of their dishes. Like the English breakfast (breakfast menu only), which we found copious and delicious.
Read moreThey also make sweet and savory pastries. Our favorites are the pīrādziņi (traditional Latvian pastry) stuffed with cheese and the sausage bread roll.
The staff is friendly (you order at the counter); and the location is rather good.
There's a park nearby, so take-out is always a good option as well.

Good vegan spot nearby strict city center - Edit
Wide selection of both savory and sweet dishes plus tempting pastries, not bad prices. However, service is rather slow and it was a bit confusing if the order is taken by the table, or you need to come over the counter to place the order and pay straight (the latter case scenario 🙂)

Will come again when visiting Riga - Edit
I tried the classical snichel and they brought me a huge dish filled with all sorts of salads, sides and a massive snichel. It was really tasty. Also had a friend with me that has a very strong allergy to sesame seeds, the staff manage to come up with something delicious outside of the menu.

Giant Plate, Completely Vegan - Edit
The food was good (not great) but they included a huge plate with varied foods. I've been constantly hungry in Riga due to the meager options available. I walked out with my stomach fit to burst! But I also got an iced bun for my sweet tooth haha. There were just so many options, if I didn't live thousands and thousands of miles away, I think I'd eat here often. If you're in Riga, this should definitely be on your list. It's in a good location if you're adventuring in the Art Nouveau Quarter.

110% vegan - Edit
cute little café with delicious sandwiches, salads, desserts, fresh juices and so on. what i liked best was that it said 110% vegan on the board, because as a vegan i'm always tense about whether everything is really without eggs, dairy products, etc.! :-)
