Fast and reliable - Edit
Both my partner and I preferred the chicken burger to the beef. Fries were tasty and fresh. I was really impressed with the coffee - half the price of anywhere else I'd seen in Denmark - was 19 dkk for large coffee with oat milk - definitely will be back even if only to get this! I'd last visited in 2019 and they had vegan milkshakes, but they don't seem to do them anymore.

Max burgers on Gammel Torv is nothing special neither something bad. Many good vegan options, but the restaurant is often crowded at nights and a bit dirty.

Set-up is like McDonald's or Burger King and also the food is comparable, however, there are more vegan options available, which are clearly labelled. Preparation is quick, the staff is friendly and the fast food is exactly what you want after a night out.

Max is a burger chain in the fast food class. So not gourmet burgers, but "regular" burgers, so to say.
Read moreIn Denmark, in the "fast food class" burger chains (which also includes McDonalds and Burger King), Max offers the largest selection of vegetarian burgers, and as of October 2019, they are also the only one to offers vegan burgers, and vegan milkshakes.
The burgers (of it's class) are good, however the vegan milkshake needs improvement. And the milkshakes are not as pretty as in the pictures.
If you want a quick, vegan burger, Max is a good place to go. Max are much better in quality than McDonalds and Burger King, and Max also acts much more ethical regarding environment and human rights.
They could raise from 3 to 4 stars by improving the milkshakes and introducing vegan desserts.

Such a fan of the vegan options here. A Swedish chain with the same vegan options. Both the oomph burger and chicken burger were yum. Make sure you try the vegan super shakes - husband and I are arguing over which was better, strawberry or blueberry (it was strawberry, by the way!)

Best option after clubbing - Edit
I go here every time I've gone clubbing. Is has one vegan burger and four vegetarian of which two can be made vegan. Unfurturnately half the time you ask for one of the vegetarians done vegan you don't get them vegan which is disappointing. I typically don't go for the vegan one because it is extremely spicy in my opinion.
