The moussaka is a must try - Edit
The vegan mousakka was my favourite and I liked it more than other ones I tried. The cream pasta was good but a little odd because of the coconut cream it reminded me of Thai curry. The soutzoukakia was okay but I don’t think it was for me.

Ich habe die vegane Bowl mit Quinoa, Tofu, Kohl und Süsskartoffeln bestellt. Es war lecker. Die Portion ok, hätte jedoch für den Preis noch ein bisschen grösser sein können oder wenigstens ein Stück Fladenbrot dazu.

Some dishes ok, some nice - Edit
We had nachos and cheese, potatoes bravas, falafel, homemade burger and tofu salad. A few of the dishes were reheated or made so far and then added on and you could tell - outside very hard - they weren't awful but weren't amazing, hence 3 starts. The burger was the winning dish. Wine was fine and the price was very reasonable for the amount we ordered.

I ordered the microbiotoc salad and could not eat it.
Read moreIt was refrigirated cold, strange taste of souce, strange taste and texture of tofu. very little kale. It was 95% kinoa with mashed sweat potatos souce.
When I told them I don't like it they asked me: so why did you order it and tryed to make me feel bad. They took the thing away and made me pay for it.
I also ordered sweat potato soup that had unconventional taste.
There was not any nice atmosphare, the place was not heated and we were cold, and the overall service was poor even when we were the only customers there.
Pros: nothing was good
Cons: not tasty , bad service, not nice atmosphare

They were fast and very friendly😄food was good, we had the burrito and the mushroom wrap - amazing! Burrito was a bit greasy but the vegan cheddar sauce that comes with the platter (only 2€ more) is delicious!

We had mousakas and vegetable korma - both really tasty. It's great we could try traditional food in the vegan version. The place was cosy, the waiter was nice and spoke English well.

My partner had an incredible moussaka which was incomparable to another we had elsewhere (which was not as nice or fresh). Then we shared the baklavas which was amazing! All of the flavours were amazing 😍
We plan on returning to Athens next year and will definitely return to Mama Tierra. Delicious! 😋

Trying to find substantial and varied food suitable for a vegan is not that easy in the Greek capital city of Athens in 2023.

Vegan only restaurant with many different options. Includes typical greek dishes as well as Burger, Wraps, Pasta and Arabic Kitchen. The food tasted so good and the staff was really nice. We liked it a lot and could barely decide what to eat because we wanted to try everything!

I had the linguine carbonara and my wife had the burrito and we both LOVED it. There was a lot of variety which was really nice. From veganized greek classics to Italian to American/fusion it all looked great! Only downside is it’s in kindof a noisy area, but the inside is cute!
