73 twisty turns down some graffiti speckled grecian streets and there i was … the one and only Mama Tierra vegan eatery. instantly charmed by the creative lighting choices and availability of cushioned seating, i ordered their classic mama tierra bowl and BOY did i slam that down. perfectly paired w some green kombucha oooo weee. diggin the environmental stuff- recycled toilet paper reusable bottles etc love to see it. customer service was also 10/10. i wish i could say i’ll be back but i live a thousand miles away. good eats mama, miss u already

First visit to Athens. Tried it out based on all the reviews. The manager was very accommodating and nice. The food tasted good. We tried a few items: nachos, dal Fry, vegetarian burger, falafel sandwich, cauliflower.

Loved the chilled venue and the friendly staff. The food is really fresh and tastes delicious. We tried the sweet potato hummus with caramelised onions, the mushroom burger and the linguine a la creme. All were very tasty- the hummus in particular was really good. Would love to go back and try some of the traditional greek dishes!

The pasta I got was very good, my brother got the mushroom melt wrap which was also delicious. The staff gave us advice on where to eat vegan near Kalamata. If I was nitpicking i’d say it didn’t have anything that was different or some kind of wow factor, but other than that I can’t fault this place. If I could figure out how to give it 4.6/5 I would, so it gets rounded up to 5👏👏

It is a small place with little room to eat in. But owner told us that he has the space next door and is expanding. The burgers were great and the falafel plate I had was delicious. Would go again if I were there again.

Everything I vegan, so lots of choice, including a few proper Greek options. The staff were very friendly. Food was great - we also had the dessert which was very nice but maybe a bit big for one person!

I was so excited to go here. When I walked in, one of the guys in the kitchen was staring at me but i just ignored him. The restaurant has a takeaway vibe with not a lot of natural light but i was just by myself so i was like ok I'll est here, it's fine. The cash register operator was very friendly and gave me a bottle of tap water before i even ordered anything (i found that common in athens). I started with the guacamole and chips which were nice but overly salty. By this point the guy in the kitchen was staring at me so creepily that i wanted to leave. I decided to take the Mousaka to go and eat it at the apartment. It's the best meal I've had all week. For menu alone I'd give 5 stars, pasta, indian, nourish bowls and more. But for the dining experience 1 star, so I landed on 3.

Great food! Their apple granola dish was to die for. Their open toast with vegan blue cheese was really good. As was their lentil dish (I forgot what it was now)

They were very accommodating and knowledgeable of allergies/intolerances. The gluten free options are visibly declared on the menu as “GF” and separately prepared. The food arrived very fast and I was pleasantly surprised by the tea, which did not come in a teabag but was zero waste!

I've read so many reviews about Mama Tierra and I did have high expectations, but I left disappointed to be honest.
