The best sandwich - Edit
The sandwich I got here was out of this world. Tastes were immense and fresh ingredients with home made mock meats, gorgeous!

Limited Selection - Edit
When visiting the deli, I was ecstatic to find long-lost foods such as Swiss cheese and scrapple. The scrapple was divine. The swiss cheese did not live up to the lofty expectations. All the meat was fantastic. I wish there were more of a selection. They were out of a lot of products when I visited.

I want to bring this place home with me to Columbus - Edit
Was in Philly for 4 days while volunteering at Pax Unplugged. I ate here at least once each day. I meant to write this review right away and wanted to give shout outs to the awesome staff, but I don't really trust my memory now 😆 maybe it was Mike and Jenny? Their bacon was like none I've ever had and I asked if it was in house made--turns out they'd just started making it themselves.

Delicious!! - Edit
Great servers and even better food. We tried the Luhv Lox Bagel and the Sausage, Egg and Cheese Bagel. YUM!! Freshness of the first and the heartiness of the second.

Hidden Gem - Edit
Not easy to find but worth the search. Metered street parking and pay parking lots available near by. This is located in a food market hall …. So walk in and you are surrounded by Nin-vegan food options absolutely everywhere … except for this little gem. Service was wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I started with their “special” Seitan Parm sandwich. I found it to be heavy compared to a traditional Chick’n parm sandwich. Good flavor but heavy. I will pass this up next time I come around. I also ordered their Italian Hoagie. This sandwich was wonderful. Great serving size. Filled with flavor. Unique compared to a sandwich you would make at home. I would repeat this sandwich every time I come back. I also had their soup. Good, hearty, decent serving size. Overall, looking forward to coming back. I want to try their BLT and awards winning Rueben.

Buttery, warm sandwiches - Edit
I had their bestselling Reuben, and it was definitely not a let down. Such a delicious sandwich. Idk if it tastes like a non-vegan Reuben, but I can tell you that this sandwich was the perfect amount of buttery, cheesy, flavorful, and warm. Really nice staff too. 10/10 for a reason. Maybe one time I’ll order some of their deli slices to take home for sandwiches. Maybe I also regret not doing that today.

Vegan hoagies! - Edit
A ton of vegan hoagies and sandwiches to choose from! The Italian was really good and filling. It’s a deli so you can also order vegan cheese and meats to go which is so cool.

Delicious sandwiches! - Edit
We stopped in this food court near the convention center while on a trip to Philadelphia and we are so glad we did. This is a small take-out deli where you can get vegan cheeses and sandwiches made for you. The vegan Caprese sandwich tasted so real with pesto, their vegan cheese and tomatoes. Comes with chips and a pickle. I recommend trying it.

Just do it. Get the caprese. You won't regret it. It's basically the perfect sandwich.

I had the Rachel sandwich on multigrain bread. OOOOOH SOOOO good. Very messy - lots of sauce and cole slaw. I only wish all of these locations the BEST. The vibe inside the Terminal is FUN.

Delicious deli sandwiches - Edit
This was our first experience with Herbivorous Butcher products, and all of the sandwiches we had were excellent. Their desserts come from another stall in the Reading Terminal Market, but the whoopie pie was fantastic. Be warned that the Reading Terminal Market is absolutely packed around lunchtime - you'll be lucky to find a seat, and social distancing to eat is basically impossible.
