Amazing Vegan Deli - Edit
This is a very refreshing add to Philly. A vegan deli is a progressive concept and it really works! Facundo is a wonderful guy and his amazing family is dedicated to the vegan cause. Some of the food is prepared at their fantastic restaurant (Luhvs) in Hatboro. The deli is smack in the middle of Redding Terminal Market hard to find but well worth the trouble.

Vegan food in Reading Terminal - Edit
I haven't had too much experience with this place. But their chikn salad is really good. I just appreciate that there is an explicitly vegan place at Teading terminal.
Read moreI had the pasta salad, and there wasn't much pasta in it at all. It was mostly like beans and lentils. Which I guess is cool if that's what you're looking for. But I wanted PASTA salad, y'know.
I met the owner when I applied to work here one time. They seemed very chill. I didn't get the job, but to be fair I had no experience working with food and I dont think I made a good impression.
Pros: Good food, At Reading Terminal
Cons: Beans in the pasta salad

Delicious - Edit
I’m gluten-free and plant-based. While the options for ME were limited, they were DELICIOUS. I had a “tuna” sandwich that was made with chickpeas and seaweed. It did NOT have a fishy taste. It was served on GF bread, with plant-based cheese. I’m not sure if I was supposed to get chips with what I ordered, but regardless, the sandwich was amazing.
Read morePros: 100% plant-based, Nice staff, GF & Plant-based options
Cons: GF&V options were limited. (And delicious), Only GF&V = “tuna” & “lox.” (Not fishy though)

Tuna salad on rye - Edit
Not the best sandwich but it was ok. The consistency of the sandwich was loose and fell apart. It did not even have a tuna smell.

Best Italian Hoagie! - Edit
The only meat dish that I genuinely miss is the deli hoagie. I have had plenty of veggie hoagies that didn’t hit the spot, and then we discovered this awesome vegan deli! The Italian hoagie is delicious, with great bread! We drive from NJ over to Philly for this special treat!

Cons: A little pricey for a hoagie, but worth it!

The sausage breakfast sandwich was awesome. My significant other is wary of egg substitutes and hates eggs. However, this eggy patty was no problem and we both loved it!
Read moreAlso got the Italian sub. The meats were awesome but the roll was a little dry. I could have loved more lettuce and tomato but it would have been hard to fit in there with the roll being slit rather than cut in half.
Had it delivered our hotel. It was perfect.
Pros: Meats made in house, House made eggy patty

DELI is the word to note - Edit
Yes, they make excellent vegan sandwiches and soups, but you can get those lots of places in Philly. The thing that sets this place apart, is the availability of vegan meats and cheeses, by the pound or less. That you cannot get in too many places, if any in Center City, Philly. A 1/4 pound of their Corned Beef, 1/4 cheese of your choice - I am hooked on their American - get some sauerkraut and 10,000 Island dressing elsewhere and you can make a few of your own Reubens at home.

Best bagel, “lox” combo - Edit
An oasis in a busy flesh filled historic food court, this place is definitely worth the visit! Haven’t had a bagel combo like this ever as a vegan. Mock tuna also super tasty and not over filled with mayonnaise like they usually are.

Vegan gem in the middle of Reading Terminal Market - Edit
Quick, affordable *all vegan deli*. I had the tuna salad, chicken salad the Reuben, as well as the breakfast egg and sausage. The sandwiches were very filling and super dee-lish! The deli offers basic soups, sandwiches and a full service deli counter to sample and take home some yummy looking vegan cheeses and lunch cold cuts. So far, I've sampled the pepperoni and the capicola and both were very yummy. I stayed across the street at the Marriott and this deli was my go-to for quick, filling meals every day during my work trip.

Wish I tried more - Edit
I was visiting Philadelphia and wanted to check out Reading Terminal Market. Luhv is the only vegan place in there. I tried the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. The flavors were good but the “sausage” and “egg” both squished towards the back of the bagel every time I took a bite of the sandwich. The texture of the egg seemed more similar to a spread because it wasn’t solid. I wish I had bought the tuna and chikn salad to go tubs so I could’ve tried more. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely go back and try more.

Solid lunch option at the Terminal! - Edit
First off- the sandwich menu looks limited, but that’s because they are very solid options! I had the chicken salad on rye, because who doesn’t love rye. It’s huge, it lasts 2 meals. Plus they support local biz like Dotties and currently batter & crumb (Brookie!!!) Customer service was great and I even got a fist bump for being vegan 😂

Stopped by for breakfast during a Philly overnight. I was blown away by how delicious everything tasted. My little vegan twins loved everything too. Friendly staff and great prices though I’m used to the pricey NYC vegan food.

Small menu, but a winner! - Edit
This is a deli to buy meats, cheeses and salads to take home. They also make a few sandwiches you can eat in RTM. The Reuben is greasy and I liked that!

Amazing service, tasty food - Edit
This ALL vegan deli is lovely! Perfect spot to grab food while out in the city. It was very busy from a convention so a few things were sold out but the cashier was the friendliest and happiest woman I've ever encountered. I ordered the tuna salad in a pita wrap. Everything was very fresh. I believe the "tuna" is chickpea based and it is seasoned well. The vegan cheese just tasted like cheddar cheese. And the portion size was great, I only ate a little more than half for one meal. Also wait time was not long at all which is always a nice surprise for Reading Terminal. I can't wait to go back amd try more food here.

Oasis in the middle of the food desert - Edit
Historical food court with just about every animal product you can think of, and then there’s this small little vegan deli. They recommended the Reuben sandwich, which was definitely life-changing. I’m talking the best Reuben sandwich that I’ve had even better than the original. I had them put it through the grill to make it extra crispy so it was just right for me. Definitely recommend with confidence. Only thing I would say, is it would be nice to be able to pick any of their deli meats to make your own sandwich, but you can only order their fee set sandwiches on the menu. It’s a very tiny place, so I’m sure they have their logistical reasons. You can buy all kinds of vegan cheese and vegan meat deli products for Takeaway. Simply fantastic!
