Buttery, warm sandwiches - Edit
I had their bestselling Reuben, and it was definitely not a let down. Such a delicious sandwich. Idk if it tastes like a non-vegan Reuben, but I can tell you that this sandwich was the perfect amount of buttery, cheesy, flavorful, and warm. Really nice staff too. 10/10 for a reason. Maybe one time I’ll order some of their deli slices to take home for sandwiches. Maybe I also regret not doing that today.

Delicious! - Edit
It’s been years since I had a hoagie. Thankfully this quick trip to Philly (a place where the dish is super popular) I was able to finally get one! It was delicious! I still think about this place. Can’t wait to go back!

Vegan hoagies! - Edit
A ton of vegan hoagies and sandwiches to choose from! The Italian was really good and filling. It’s a deli so you can also order vegan cheese and meats to go which is so cool.

Delicious sandwiches! - Edit
We stopped in this food court near the convention center while on a trip to Philadelphia and we are so glad we did. This is a small take-out deli where you can get vegan cheeses and sandwiches made for you. The vegan Caprese sandwich tasted so real with pesto, their vegan cheese and tomatoes. Comes with chips and a pickle. I recommend trying it.

Get the caprese! - Edit
Just do it. Get the caprese. You won't regret it. It's basically the perfect sandwich.
Read moreI also had the pasta salad, which was like a pasta version of a 3-bean salad and was good, but it was no caprese.
The restaurant is located inside Reading Terminal Market on "5th avenue" - there are street signs inside the market.
Pros: Caprese, Easy to order online
Cons: The market can be kind of chaotic

VEGAN Yeah!!! - Edit
I had the Rachel sandwich on multigrain bread. OOOOOH SOOOO good. Very messy - lots of sauce and cole slaw. I only wish all of these locations the BEST. The vibe inside the Terminal is FUN.

Delicious deli sandwiches - Edit
This was our first experience with Herbivorous Butcher products, and all of the sandwiches we had were excellent. Their desserts come from another stall in the Reading Terminal Market, but the whoopie pie was fantastic. Be warned that the Reading Terminal Market is absolutely packed around lunchtime - you'll be lucky to find a seat, and social distancing to eat is basically impossible.

Overpriced vegan food which isn‘t bad, but it is nothing special. Staff is very friendly but I wouldn‘t go there again since it wasn‘t worth it.

Read moreWe had Italian hoagies, a brownie and coffee cake, and got deli items to take home (so happy to be able to do that again!) and everything was great!
Staff was also very kind/friendly, and the hours of operation are optimal.
Very excited to have a vegan deli within drivable distance, and in reading terminal market at that!
**Update: went back and got the caprese, and it's a new favorite!! Totally delicious.

Kinda bland and too sweet - Edit
I really wanted to like this place because the people were so nice, but the food just as lackluster. It’s kind of bland and all kind of blends together. I got the sausage breakfast sandwich and the bagel was mediocre, while the sausage patty was more of a spread. My husband got the corned beef Rachel, which was too sweet and didn’t taste like meat. Coleslaw was amazing though.

Delicious and all Vegan - Edit
Doesn't seem like I'm adding too much new here (judging by the number of sausage/bacon, egg and cheese photos already here), but I'll reenforce that this deli has an absolutely delicious bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Wow.
Read moreThey also even do curbside pickup (with courtesy and a smile), which was shocking to me give how busy it seems they can be, thoigh good luck finding an appropriate spot to pull over nearby.
I'll note that I also got a Turkey, Bacon, Ranch but with mayo and mustard instead of ranch (as they called to let me know they were out of ranch). Although that was good too, it didn't necessarily go with the bacon, egg, and cheese, so I'm just going to recommend not pairing those.
Pros: So many delicious vegan options, Convenient ordering options, Very friendly and considerate staff
Cons: Not much legal car space outside, So popular, they can run out of items fairly quick

I Loved LUHV - Edit
We stopped by LUHV Vegan deli a few times and were very impressed! The breakfast sandwiches were amazing! I also loved the chicken salad wrap! Plus we had a brownie that was super decadent and fudgy. The only thing that didn't quite hit the spot for me was the turkey hoagie. The "turkey" just had a flavor that didn't do it for me. But everything else was fantastic and I wish we could have tried more of the menu!

Nice Vegan Option at Reading Terminal - Edit
This is a great option at Reading Terminal. The customer service is wonderful. I was excited to try the reuben because so many people raved about it online, but it was just ok to me. However, I loved the chicken salad, and I highly recommend it.
Read moreUpdate: I’ve had the opportunity to have the Italian hoagie and the tuna salad. I wasn’t a fan of the meats in the Italian hoagie, but the cheese was good. I may just not like their deli meats, but the cheeses are good. The tuna salad is wonderful, and an omni loved it as well.
