Authentic and very satisfying! - Edit
I highly recommend LUHV Deli. With their various menu items, I felt like I was ordering from a traditional deli that was Vegan only. I was very happy with my purchases including the cold cut selections and a signature Italian hoagie. They were very tasty, flavorful, and truly authentic meat and cheese alternatives. It was a great Vegan experience within the Reading Terminal Market.

Good! - Edit
I do not care for deli-style vegan "meat," so this place is probably a much better bet for people who do. Still, I ordered the chickpea "tuna" salad sandwich (the most un-fake meat-y item on the menu) and it was delicious. Would order it again. As others have noted, LUHV Deli is inside a very crowded food court, so be prepared.

Great Vegan Deli - Edit
A Little Stall in the middle of The Reading Terminal Market. The staff are friendly and their sandwiches delicious.
Read moreThe Rueben is what they’re known for, and it’s tasty as hell. Worth the trip through the market- which, unfortunately, is FULL of stalls with animal products.
Pros: The Rueben, Very friendly staff
Cons: In the middle of a Meat Market.

Tasty reuben - Edit
The reuben was really tasty!
Read moreI was a tourist passing through, so it's the one item I had. The dressing really made it, though overall it was well put-together and hot.
It's kind of fun that it's in the Reading Market, but also means long lines and takes a little finding/ getting to (not to mention oodles of meat surrounding you), so I'm not sure how well it works as a regular stop.
Though still a lot to this old fogey ($10–$11 with tax/ tip for a regular-sized sandwich), the price was a couple dollars less than a similar experience I had at another vegan place and the sandwich better.
They were friendly.
Pros: Tasty reuben, Friendly, More moderate price than nearby chain
Cons: Maybe not convenient as a regular lunchspot

Amazing! - Edit
We are here literally all 5 days we were in philly! Every single thing we ate was delicious! Our favorites were the bacon egg and cheese, the Reuben, and the brownie!! Debating making the 6 hour drive once in a while just to eat here!

Vegan Deli! - Edit
This place is a must when in Philly. Inside of the reading terminal market, they make their cheeses and meats in house. They have many options for breakfast and lunch including bacon egg and cheese and sauasage egg and cheese. Reuben, Italian sub, turkey, blt. Many desserts. All delicious! The sandwich contents were delicious. Bread was toasted nicely.

Great vegan sandwiches in the Reading Terminal Market - Edit
I stumbled across this place while searching for some lunch in the Reading Terminal Market on St. Patrick’s Day. They have a vegan corned beef sandwich, so I had to give it a try. It was stacked with seitan corned beef, cold slaw, 1000 island dressing, and gooey cheese and was delicious! I wish that I’d have found this place earlier in my trip so that I could have tried something else. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a great vegan sandwich in Philly.

Love LUHV! - Edit
My husband and I got lunch here on 2 November 2021. He had the Caprese sandwich and I had the Italian hoagie. They came with chips and a pickle. Everything was so good! We want to return during our trip to Philly if we can work it into our plan, but there are so many vegan options in this fine city that it might be impossible. The Reading Terminal Market was insanely busy and crowded but we didn't have to wait to place our order; and it was ready quickly.

Best hoagies ever - Edit
I never enjoyed deli meat even when I wasn’t vegan once upon a time. I got the caprese hoagie and my fiancé got the Italian hoagie and the pasta salad. I was so amazed at how delicious everything was, and I’m typically the type that prefers to make everything at home! The nut-based cheese in my toasted sandwich was so soft and creamy. The seitan deli meats in my fiancé’s sandwich had incredible flavors that my brain found it hard for me to eat them at first because I thought “this is meat…right? This can’t be okay.” So glad we found this cool place and I highly recommend!

I have been to the other location in Hatboro, but this was my first time at the Reading Terminal Market location. I had the BLT which was SO good and my husband had the Caprese, which was also delicious. Both sandwiches came with chips and a pickle.

Reuben was excellent - Edit
I ran into this place just as it was closing end ordered the most highly recommended item on the menu: the Reuben. It was not disappointing! Based off of this dish alone this was an excellent stop. Vegan deli’s are one of my favorite. Hoping to try more on this menu one day.

Sad I didn’t like it - Edit
I got the bacon egg and cheese and unfortunately the egg was super underdone and gooey (but not in a good way). Basically, I couldn’t eat it. I also thought the everything bagel was way too salty. My partner got the “chicken” salad wrap and it was okay.

Delicious option - Edit
Food was delicious and I would order again, but maybe in person to make sure my order is correct (details below). Prices are good for vegan food in a major city and portion sizes are generous.
Read moreI ordered twice from Luhv on a trip to Philly. First I got a turkey hogie. The mustard was sweet. I don’t like sweet mustard, but objectively the sandwich was delicious and other’s will like it. Second time, my order included a lox bagel, which I was SO EXCITED about because I miss lox bagels so much and it comes with capers which was the selling point... well, they didn’t add capers even though it was in the general description for the sandwich. It was still good, but I was very disappointed.
Capergate aside, the food was good enough that I would 100% try a third time if I’m in the area again.

Amazing Vegan Deli - Edit
This is a very refreshing add to Philly. A vegan deli is a progressive concept and it really works! Facundo is a wonderful guy and his amazing family is dedicated to the vegan cause. Some of the food is prepared at their fantastic restaurant (Luhvs) in Hatboro. The deli is smack in the middle of Redding Terminal Market hard to find but well worth the trouble.

Vegan food in Reading Terminal - Edit
I haven't had too much experience with this place. But their chikn salad is really good. I just appreciate that there is an explicitly vegan place at Teading terminal.
Read moreI had the pasta salad, and there wasn't much pasta in it at all. It was mostly like beans and lentils. Which I guess is cool if that's what you're looking for. But I wanted PASTA salad, y'know.
I met the owner when I applied to work here one time. They seemed very chill. I didn't get the job, but to be fair I had no experience working with food and I dont think I made a good impression.
Pros: Good food, At Reading Terminal
Cons: Beans in the pasta salad
