I was blessed with some great vegan breakfast this morning! We got the french toast sticks, The NYer and the santa fe and we were not disappointed. I was skeptical about the apple on the NYer but wow was that good. The french toast sticks brought me back to my childhood they were on point!! I also tried The recharge fresher and it was perfectly sweet, be sure to check them out!

Worth a stop! - Edit
We stopped here for breakfast on the drive to Buffalo and it was delicious! We got two of the breakfast sandwiches, a giant chocolate chip cookie, and a chocolate pistachio cake.
Read moreFirst I'll note that the restaurant is in a large, generic office building (but very easy to access / find). This is such a good idea! I wish more restaurants would open in similar locations as it gets you a built in audience.
For the food - there was a good number of options, but we decided to go with breakfast sandwiches. The cake was delicious, it is a good thing we got it to go as I probably would have ordered a second piece if I'd eaten it in the restaurant. If I lived in Rochester I would definitely visit more often!
Pros: Great cake!, Friendly staff, good sized menu

Always a favorite - Edit
Trying to do better at reviewing local places and not just on trips. This is a favorite breakfast place in the area, everything is good here. The quality doesn't take a backseat even when they're busy. Tried just about everything on the menu but the sante fe sandwich is my favorite. The only con here is the limited hours, they are only open for short periods on the weekend.

Good! - Edit
The "Vera" fried chick'n sandwich was delicious. Its "meat" had a really great texture. The eggnog cupcake 's frosting is nice and it really does taste like eggnog, but the cupcake itself has a strange, kind of dry (not quite grainy) texture that I don't like. Small for its price.

Excellent - Edit
Ordered from here a few times before today but managed to finally get over there this afternoon. Sweet and savory options are all great! Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of their egg patty so I stick to the lunch menu - usually the fried chick'n sandwich.

Great vegan bakery in East Rochester - Edit
I visited for lunch with a friend on a Sunday. The place was hopping and busy, which was great to see. I had a London Fog tea with oat milk, and the special "grilled steak" seitan with peppers and onions. So good! I dug into it so quickly that I forgot to snap a photo. I brought home some treats for the fam, including a chocolate cake jar and a coffee cake muffin. Will definitely be back soon.

Died and went to Hollycake house? - Edit
There was a sandwich with the same name as my partner, unique spelling and all. It was delicious! The desserts seemed made specifically for me, hitting all the right notes. I would have bought them out of every treat they had, if I wouldn’t’ve felt too guilty depriving everyone else coming in that day. The one Gatorade flavor they had in front was my absolute favorite, and I feel like it’s one that I hardly see anywhere. The staff was friendly and vaguely familiar.

Got a breakfast sandwich to split with my partner, and it was excellent! It was large enough for us to split and feel satisfied. I also got a cold brew coffee with cold foam, which was a pleasant treat as I don't usually see that option for vegans. I look forward to going back to try more of the menu items!

It’s an excellent place to visit for breakfast. They have several breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Seating is a little awkward, but if I lived in the area I would be happy to get takeout. The food we had was delicious, and I would visit again to try a lunch item.

A new fav!! - Edit
We were so looking forward to trying out this new café, and it did not disappoint. The menu is huge and they have lots of bakery items available. The Cheeseburger Soup we had was DELICIOUS, as were the breakfast wrap and sandwich. The cakes in a jar are moist and flavourful, and the chocolate croissants were flaky and buttery. Plus the staff is just so friendly. This is a really feel-good place with amazing food. A ! #Veganuary

Perfectly lovely - Edit
There are so many options here it also makes me lil vegan heart dizzy! There’s so much to try.
Read moreI highly recommend their scones and their muffins. They aren’t overwhelmingly sweet like a lot of vegan desserts, but have just enough to make any sweet tooth happy.
Their breakfast sandwiches were pleasant, but they did not have as much flavor as most things I look for at the price point.
However, completely worth it to support a vegan, women owned business!
A great treat for sure

Vegan Desserts! - Edit
We preordered some desserts. Of course, while we were there, we had to try breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were great. We ordered 2 pies, 1 1/2 dozen cupcakes to try a few different flavors, cinnamon buns and a dozen creampuffs. Yes, we came with coolers! We have only tried the creampuffs so far, but DAMN, I could not tell that they were vegan. They were fantastic! Can't wait to try the other goodies.

Good sandwiches but pricey - Edit
We ordered two sandwiches - BLT and a burger (which showed fries in the photo) and two drinks, that alone plus tip was $40. That is quite pricey considering you do not get anything but the sandwich (which my blt could have used more b). Potatoes are not expensive, chips and a pickle would make the price more understandable. We left still hungry but glad to try a new place and support a vegan business.

My go-to vegan spot! - Edit
I go here almost every weekend! Definitely underrated by the Rochester vegan community, but it is one of the best. My omnivore dad absolutely loves it here and recommends it to all of his fellow non-vegan friends and family. Favorites: emerald isle mint cream cake, chocolate chip muffins, gluten free red velvet cupcakes, potato salad, all breakfast sandwiches!

Great vegan cafe! - Edit
It’s so great seeing more 100% vegan places pop up in Rochester. Holly cake is such a great addition. All of the desserts looked amazing, I got a cookie but need to come back to try more desserts. My partner and I both ordered sandwiches in addition to a side of hash browns. The hash browns remind me of the ones I used to get from fast food places as a kid, which were so good! It’s so great to have a vegan version of those.
