Convenient - Edit

A standard small grocery. Small salad and olive bar. Non-organic veggies. Just picked up my water here and some rice crakers. This is not the only thing in Mendocino. There is a lovely small veg co-op a few blocks away called Corners of the Mouth.

Wins by default..... - Edit

Unfortunately, this is pretty much the only thing going in Mendocino Village. Good basic options for Vegan stuff, but truthfully, one of the most expensive places I've ever shopped, especially when it comes to bulk items (grains, beans, etc). Infact, all the basics are outrageous, from coffee to Peanut butter and jelly, noodles to frozen pizzas, you will pay more than you are used to, but, like I said, pretty much the only thing going as far as real stores.
Has a large meat section, and hostess donuts and twinkies share space with Newman-os.....Go Figure.

Pros: General Store

Cons: Hella Expensive, Lots of meat and crappy foods

Great full service grocery store - Edit

Harvest has it all, from organic foods, beer, vegan items, to a green general store with cooking items, bath and beauty. Friendly staff, you'll find everything you need to make a picnic basket for a canoe trip on the big river
