You have to go here! - Edit
My absolute favourite place to eat. If the world was ending, I'd head to Wholesome Junkies for one last meal 😂 It's just all so friggin' delicious. The corn dogs blow my mind. The Thai fries are the best chips I've ever had. The Christmas burger 🤤😍 You haven't experienced real joy til you've tried WJ!

The BBQ bites I had from here easily beat the taste of any animal equivalents I ate back in the day

Amazing Junk Food - Edit
It was the best vegan Burger, Chickn Bites, Corndog and Mushroom Wings I ever had. I don't think there is something not fried on their menu, but even though it led to an slightly upset IBS it was worth it :)

Best vegan burger I've had - Edit
Absolutely incredible food, I had the truffle burger and would massively recommend. My girlfriend had the Korean corn dog and was also 5/5 (small gripe of too many chilli's but didn't make it bad)

Best Mac and cheese - Edit
I have been multiple times, never disappointed with service or portion sizes. Honestly it’s best to get one Mac, one chicken side, one chips to share between friends rather than get one each because of how much you get. My favourite is their truffle Mac and cheese.

Amazing!! - Edit
I randomly ordered the chick’n truffle burger - wasn’t sure what to get - and was totally blown away. One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten! It’s not much of a restaurant atmosphere as it’s in the food market, but definitely worth visiting for some vegan junk food (or for takeaway) 😊

Wow!!!! - Edit
I have eaten at their stall in the Arndale and it is awesome, but during lockdown they are doing DIY burger kits delivered, and are covering a wider area than usual, so we were able to get one delivered in Warrington. We had the double bbq burgers and they were a TASTE SENSATION. Incredible.

Christmas burger delight - Edit
There is always a queue here and for good reason too - everything is vegan and made to order. It’s the junk food you miss and crave but guilt free. Loved it.

Delicious!!! - Edit
Absolutely loved this! Had the Double Date deal which was £32 for 2 burgers, 2 sides, 1 dessert and 2 drinks. We had the bacon cheeseburgers which were delicious, chick’n bites which were very crispy although the ‘chicken’ is a little mushy on the inside, the katsu tater tots which were tasty although the harsh sauce could have been stronger and a salted caramel cake for dessert, which was very indulgent. The burgers were easily the best part and I’ll definitely be going back for more!

It doesn’t get any better - Edit
Pfft.. what can I say that hasn’t already been said about this place. From attention to detail on the little ingredients, like their homemade mayos and pickles.. to the presentation that rivals expensive restaurant artistry (EVEN if you get it delivered, I was speechless how picture perfect it was), this place are in a league of their own.
Read moreMy husband had the kimchi burger and from one bite I couldn’t tear my mouth away. The patty fell apart with moisture and flavour and the kimchi was perfectly spiced - the pink bun was an adorable and eye catching bonus.
I had the Thai chickn bucket and what can I say - we fought over it! The chickn was so crisp and juicy and retained so much beautiful seasoning and spice - the chips were out of this WORLD and the mayo and slaw were to die for. It’s been a week since my last WJ and I’ve not stopped thinking about it since. God bless you guys, you have truly changed the game.
Pros: Beautifully presented, Generous portions, Deliciously fresh

Nice cauliflower burger - Edit
This is the first bit of takeaway/junk food I've had since before the pandemic and it didn't blow my nuts off or anything but it was very nice indeed. I had the cauliflower burger with sriracha sauce (choice of that or barbecue, or buffalo) and it was sort of earthy in taste, if that makes sense. It was quite big; usually with cauliflower I'd expect a slice or cross-section but it was a few florets. As such it was quite unwieldy, and so, sloppy, but I don't mind that so much. I ate it at midday and I'm still sated now at 6 o'clock. It cost £7 with no sides but you come to expect that kind of price nowadays and with how filling it is you might save a bit on your next meal.
Read moreThe staff were exceedingly nice but they were a bit cramped in their little booth kitchen and they didn't have masks, though they did have the usual gloves and aprons, and the corner of the shopping centre they occupy isn't too roomy, so bear that in mind if you're cautious with regards to covid.
Pros: Tastes nice, Filling, Nice staff

I’ve been here a couple of times. The first time we just had the Tater Tots, which are really good. The second time I had a meal deal which is a burger, Tater Tots, a drink and a dip for £10. Would recommend going - hey the Kiwi, lime and mint Firefly drink!

Comfort food! - Edit
I had the KFC burger: Kentucky-fried cauliflower, cheddar cheese, onion rings, mayo - all vegan, of course, £6.50. Very good! They also have beefless burgers, chikn sandwiches, hot dogs, tater tots of different flavours, truffle burgers, caesar salad and cake. Takes about 10 minutes to prepare, a bit longer at busy lunchtime.

Amazing! - Edit
Incredible, totally vegan junk food in the Arndale market with quick service. The "beef" burger is particularly good, and there are often specials. They also visit other markets such as Grub in Manchester and Digbeth Dining Club in Birmingham where there are sometimes extra dishes, well worth a visit!

This place is amazing! The women behind the counter are really nice! The only con is the seating may be difficult to find so come early when they open at 11am and it was difficult to find. It’s in the arndale market but the clothing part. The Katsu Corn dog was really good and totally recommend it. The Jerk Tots are the way to go as well!
