Exactly what you want

Had cheesey chips for the first time in YEARS here and they were everything I wanted from a little fair priced takeaway. Also had the vegetable samosas, absolutely gorgeous.

The owner is super friendly and lovely, you should definitely stop in!

Pros: Tasty food , Great prices, Friendly staff

Good value, good food

I had the 3 different curries with rice for £7.50. There were plenty of choices. The spinach-based curry was great. Small and friendly. Would return

Pros: Good food, Good value

Quick, Tasty and Reasonability Priced

My second visit to Little Aladdin, my first since they have gone fully vegan, and I wasn’t disappointed. Though my first choice of curry wasn’t available, the chana masala that I did have was great, as were the bhajis and fritters that I had as sides. The vegan beef doner was also excellent, the only slight let down was the garlic naan, more a garlic bread, but it was satisfying nonetheless.

Great value

Stumbled in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Had the 3 curry and rice for £7.50, 2 bhajis and a plain naan.
Service was great, super friendly and explained what was on offer.

Chanla masala, Bombay potato, vegetable curry. Good portion size for the price, could just do with a little more flavour.
Bhajis were great, though a small piece of uncooked batter wasn't very nice! Gave us some mango chutney as well which was lovely!
Naan was good size.

Pros: Well priced, Good portions

Rice and 3

More of an old style rice and 3, with the food kept hot at the counter, rather than warmed up as required.

I don't know about the dairy situation, as I did not see it, until I got back.

Next time I visit, I'll check it out.

I've just been back, and the bloke behind the counter says that EVERYTHING is Vegan, so NO nasty dairy at all.

I think the Rice and 3 was £6.99, yes, it really is that cheap for R and 3

Bland food

Lacking flavour. We were missing an item but the restaurant didn’t answer when we called.
Would have been 2 star if the Bhaji and samosa weren’t so good - the only flavoursome food in our order

Cons: Bland

Flavoursome, good value

Very tasty food and quite affordable. The 3 curries I had (chickpea/chana, eggplant, cabbage), onion bhaji and roti were all delicious

Great Value, Tasty Vegan Food

This place offers so many options. From curries, wraps, burgers and kebabs to vegan cheese naans, breaded mushrooms and salads and dips. Really nice, friendly staff. Several tables if you want to eat there. Compared to most vegan/vegetarian establishments (especially in Manchester), the value for money is also brilliant. Oh and the chips are great too.

Good and affordable

This place can’t be beaten for cheap and tasty food. It’s definitely worth dropping in if you’re about town and looking for some lunch or a snack. The onion bhajis are really nice.

Friendly place, quick service

This place is great for a quick, cheap eat in Manchester City Centre. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and ran through all the options with me. The onion bahjis are delicious, and gluten free! (Not to mention quite big, so one is enough).

Pros: Friendly and helpful owner, Lots of choice , Quick service

Not totally vegan

Supposed to be totally vegan. We were offered dairy yogurt on our samosa chaat so sorry this joint is vegetarian.. Delightful vegan chaat, essentially samosas with a salad garnish, onion and spicy chickpea accompaniment.
Spicy, filling, as well as cheap.
Definitely will return.
No doubt. Thanks, owner. 🤣

Always support fully vegan

3 stars because the place is fully vegan and i love that, however the guy serving did not listen to our order, perhaps because he was busy but we asked for Biryani he said he could do some, it ended up being some dry rice with some tasteless potatoes and loads of onion and bits of veg not a Biryani, the next guy behind us asked for Biryani he said they had none so assuming he tried to get us some made up which was nice but the food was not. Had 3 curries and rice to be fair was good and the samosas very nice. Overall i would not rush back food pretty standard but i do love to support a fully vegan place so will return to give a second chance

Delicious curries

Excellent vegan curries, would strongly recommend the "3 curries and rice" deal, also the samosas and bhaji were outstanding. Really friendly, helpful staff. If you're in the Northern Quarter, definitely try this out.

Delicious, cheap, and vegan.

This is a must if you like Indian food. It looks rather innocent from the outside, but it's one of the finest Indian restaurants I've been to.

Lovely Service, quick and cheap

Perfect place to pick up some inexpensive vegan food in the Northern Quarter, quite simple but wholesome and the service was the best! The only downside is the food was quite oily, but it was overall lovely, my favourite being the bhindi!! Love ❤️🌼

Pros: Various tasty options, Affordable for NQ, Quick and friendly service

Cons: Sort of oily

Disappointing

We travelled a long distance and rang in advance to find out when they took last orders. The member of staff was off hand on the phone but she said it was 9pm.
We arrived at 8.37 and the shutters were down! I stood outside and telephoned again but they did not answer. (It clearly says they close at 9:00pm.)

Cons: Not open as told

Can't agree with the other reviews

Follow the Happy Cow reviews and went for lunch, but ended up not eating the food and going for a pizza at Purezza across the road instead. First off the service wasn't the friendliest despite what the reviews say, and the food was plonked/splattered on the plate. The food was oily, lukewarm, and bland. The 3 curry meal deal is good value, but not if the food isn't nice.

100% vegan Indian!

100% vegan Indian restaurant. Extensive options. I like how unpretentious it is, with quick service. It's all very laid back. I had the green platter: I could choose 3 different vegan curries to go with the rice. The vegan cheese naan was nice and I also tried the vegan pecan brownie (my favourite) and the cinnamon brownie. Would definitely go back to try more of the menu

Pros: 100% vegan , Quick service, Unpretentious

Great food, lovely staff, all vegan!

It was a cold and rainy day and my partner and I were craving something warm and comforting. I remember walking past this establishment on our first day in Manchester and seeing the absolute deal of a meal (3 curries and rice for £5.99) they had on offer.

It was a no-brainer and we went into the restaurant, a quaint little place with a small seating area, we ordered the 3 curries deal as well as samosas and some peshwari naan. It was absolutely delightful. Exactly what we needed! The food was well spiced and overall delicious.

I genuinely cannot pick a favourite as all of it was incredible! Definitely recommend

Pros: All vegan, Lovely staff, Super affordable

Cons: Small

OK for a quick lunch

I tried their green plate with 3 curries but the value for money for that wasn’t worth it.
I do not recommend the green plate, but I will go back to try more of their dishes.

Pros: Fully vegan

Great choice

Love this place. There main curries have the day aren’t too spicy so you can ask for extra sauce. I always come here with friends and order a bunch to share. Their best is samosa chaat and, new vegetable biryani and cheesy garlic naan.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great portions

Cons: Some foods can be greasy
