Delicious, Great Service! - Edit
I ordered the Avalanche breakfast combo which came with tofu scramble, in house made plant based sausage, potatoes and a 2 stack of pancakes. It was so good! There in house sausage is to die for. The whole diner just has a great feel as well. Highly recommend this place!

Living up to its reputation - Edit
Difficult to make a choice as everything on the menu seemed so good. The philly cheese steak I had was amazing!!! Never had one before so I can't really compare to the "original" version but this one was not dry, the vegan meat they put in it was meaty and not chewey. Was served with some of the best mac and cheese I've had! We also got mashed potatoes with gravy and their famous tenders, mushroom stroganoff and the avalanche (breakfast that they serve all day). Everything was tasty and the best food we've had on our trip. Would put more than 5 stars if I could!

Great food - Edit
Great vegan food. The pancakes were extra crispy and the tofu was delicious. Service was a bit of a let down. Was given a iced coffee rather than a hot one, we had to repeat our orders as the server forgot them and still one of our sides was forgotten about. I’d still go back as the food was worth it.

Delicious, great options - Edit
This place was just what we were looking for as we drove through Salt Lake City. We ordered takeout online. I had the Mountain with mushrooms (tofu scramble with potatoes.) My husband had the American Diner (faux chicken on a bed of fries covered with gravy.) We also ordered a side of broccoli with cheez sauce and an almond bar for dessert. Everything was very tasty and filling. It looks like a great breakfast place. The staff were friendly.

must visit spot in SLC - Edit
This was the first vegan place I came to after landing in SLC. Staff were friendly and the food was exactly what I wanted. Vegan version of diner food at normal diner prices.
Read moreA simple bowl of broccoli and vegan cheese is so much better when it only costs $6. The buffalo tigers were very tasty. Love the ranch. Their homemade hot sauce is also quite good.
Glad this was my intro to SLC.

Good for brunch or a late night after going to the local breweries. I love their chicken sandwich with mac on the side. Great french toast too. Coffee needs work. Good atmosphere

Best vegan diner food I have ever found. - Edit
I've never tried anything at this place that wasn't awesome, but some items are beyond belief. Just pick something that sounds good and enjoy, come back for your favorites. If alone.. like I almost always am, sit at the counter and talk to the awesome staff who are some of the coolest people you'll ever meet.

Actual veggie burgers! - Edit
It’s been so long since I’ve had an actual veggie burger now that beyond and impossible are on the scene, or so many have egg! Loved the fries and the Tony Hawk was excellent.

Food was delicioso - Edit
We ordered the chili cheese fries, macaroni and cheese, Buffalo Tiger sandwich and the Tony Hawk burger. Everything was vegan but my mother in law who is a meat eater really enjoyed all the food. I thought everything was good except for the mac and cheese - it was a bit bland. The service was friendly. They were a little short staffed so we did have to wait for some things but all in all a good experience.

Amazing! - Edit
this place felt just like a “regular” restaurant. don’t get me wrong i’m a big fan of the local, sustainable and health vegan restaurants but sometimes you just want something casual especially if your easing non-plant based friends or family into the lifestyle!! service was great and there was so many options. Highly recommend this place! not to mention they serve breakfast all day!

Better-than-the-original emulation of an american diner - Edit
I have tried most everything on their menu and it's all great. I believe that they are a little over priced, but you are certainly getting quality food here. My favorite by far and large is the fennel sausage. Staff are sweet, especially Jerica and Julian. I wish that they would start composting with momentum recycling, but that's "only a small squibble." :)

Stopped here while passing through town. Everything sounded good; I went with the jackfruit nachos and the biscuits and gravy. Spectacular! I do wish the tofu scramble was a little more flavorful, but that’s a minor quibble. Friendly staff, relaxed vibe. Highly recommended!

Fun place, good food. - Edit
Second visit, 4 years later and stuck with the Tony Hawk Burgers which were delicious. Structual integrity issues but all the better. Mac and Cheese and Chili sides were great. Place is VERY CLEAN. Staff kind and helpful. First time to Salt Lake City and had a list of possible vegan/vegetarian restaurants. This was convenient for today so we stopped in for lunch. Not very busy.
Read moreStaff was friendly and helpful letting us know about the various menu options.
I was torn between the Vertical Burrito and Breakfast Burrito. I settled on the Vertical. When food arrived, it was all tofu scramble and very little rice and beans. Confirmed with the waitress that it was a breakfast version.
Menu stated "smothered in red sauce and cheese sauce..." Came smothered in cheese sauce and a decorative amount of red sauce. Wasn't bad, just expecting the other way around.
We also had the vertical tacos. These were excellent. Turned out to be much better selection than the burritos.

You had me at breakfast all day. Loads of tempting choices, but breakfast for dinner is always a good thing. Since it’s my first time, had to get the “Famous Dude Cakes”. The portions are large and prices are very fair. The pancakes are huge and so fluffy!!!!

tasty eats - Edit
Been eating here for years and guess I forgot to review it. Never had a bad meal here. A few favorites have been the Philly with the mushroom option, the buffalo chicken ranch, and the jerk chicken sandwich. Tonight my daughter tried the dude cakes and they were amazing. I had the Ian Mackaye, a big burger with Mac & cheese on it....wow! Definitely worth our drive from North Ogden.
