Thoroughly enjoyed our meal out with friends at the Vegie Bar. It was very busy so we were lucky to get a table for the six of us, we would have booked a table but not possible for less than 7 people. The Mee Goreng was wonderful, and the Laksa was full of flavour but it could have been better with a few more veggies and tofu.

All the food was vegan, but what a shame about the honey in the cocktails. But at least these cocktails are clearly marked with a honey pot logo on the menu.

Really great place with lots of vegan options. We shared the tofu burger with chips with the onion rings which were the star of the show, perfectly crispy!! Really good portions and a cool vibe.

Very average food. I had the margarita pizza which was okay, the base wasn't very good. My partner had a burger which he said was fine. Really dislike how they have dairy alternatives at a "vegan" place, I think it's sending the wrong message.

Vegie Bars food and that's Desserts too, are always good. You can eat there whether you feel like pizza or a healthy stir-fry or lots of other choices. You can also go there for just coffee or coffee and cake for afternoon tea.
Read moreThe only thing I find frustrating, and the staff are nice, but on the rare occasions we order dessert, it's always forgotten, we sit and wait, our plates are cleared, eventually we get someone's attention to say we're still waiting for dessert. Not a big deal, they are frequently busy.
My suggestion, to myself, is make dessert a separate order when finished mains.
Pros: Tasty food, Lots of choice, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Forgetting second course.

Good menu! I ordered the classic stir fry with tofu and satay sauce. My only con is they only gave me like 4 lil blocks of tofu, for the price I think there should have been more tofu. Will definitely be back!! I really want to try the “duck”

We got around the long wait times for dinner by going at lunchtime. This worked great in being able to walk straight in for a table, the only downside is the menu is the same and the dinner sized portions are a bit much for lunch (having said that we only had ourselves to blame for ordering desserts upfront!). Excellent meal but lost a point because their QR code ordering system allows you to order everything at front and choose "bring dessert after main" or "everything at the same time" - we chose the former but this didn't seem to translate in to action & we struggled to get anyone's attention to ask them to bring our desserts.

We took a trip right before the peak of covid and this was one of favorite restaurants in Melbourne. The first time we visited, we got the BBQ lovers pizza, the Pad See Ew and the snickers bar. The pizza and noodles were good, not great, but the Snickers bar won us over! We went back just for the Snickers bar and asked our server for an entree recommendation - they recommended the Mostly Greens bowl with satay sauce - also amazing! We went back a few times just to get that combo. Hands down the two best things on the menu. Definitely give them a try!

I've dined in many times in my life and like an old friend it can always be relied upon. I have some dishes I absolutely love and some that don't shine as bright. Personal favorites are the laksa, mee goreng and the icecream. I had a Malaysian whole cabbage last time I went which was also a delight and unlike anything I've ever tried before, but since it's only a special I'd get in fast!

We came here on a public holiday. You order after scanning a code on your table. Everything vegan was marked on the menus and I noticed the cocktails also had this. I ordered the mee goreng and a mocktail with a chocolate sundae to share. It was easy to order on the app and I liked that you can choose when your dessert comes out. The mocktail was really fresh. The mee goreng plate was huge. I like the flavour. The chocolate sundae makes me question why all sundaes aren’t vegan. Every second table was blocked out.

This is the one place my all friend loves and can always agree on so we eat here often and it’s great that they can have whatever they want and I can still have awesome vegan options! Everytime I’ve been the servers are so accommodating and let me know all the options and what can be changed to be vegan (which is most of the veg curries.) Really flavourful food and lovely service and I always love coming here!

The Vegie bar really delivered! Arancini balls to share as entree, was really nice, even the side salad on the plate was delish. The cheeseburger was so good, melty cheese, presented well and very satisfying. The chips were good too. We finished the meal with tea and cheesecake, best vegan cheesecake I’ve had. Overall, very fresh quality food presented beautifully. Staff were friendly and the vibe there is relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommend.

The food here was good, the pizzas especially. The hemp gnocci salad I found could have had more gnocci in it. The food also took awhile to come, and didn’t all come at the same time. It’s a nice atmosphere with a cute courtyard out the back.

This place is soo amazing that I even worked in there. You can have a feast of whatever you want from pizzas, burghers to cakes and ice creams. Although it is not 100% vegan they have a great range of options and you will be happy and satisfied 🙏.
