A good selection, tasty food in the centre of Pisa, friendly English-speaking staff, even carries craft beer. As ever in Italy, ask for what's *not* on the menu😄Definitely going back for more.

Perfect lunch spot - Edit
Small place offering sandwiches and wraps with a large variety of fillings. There is a menu board inside but you can build whatever kind of sandwich/wrap you want including toppings and sauces. I had smoked seitan wih mustard, salad, pickles, and mushrooms. There was also a good variety of drink options and the guy who made my sandwich was super sweet and helpful.

Small vegan place, somewhat difficult to find, since it was just one simple door in the wall. Inside was a small, but lovely shop, with a kind man behind the desk. We had a wrap with falafel and pesto sauce, which tasted really good. Brought the food to a nearby bench and enjoyed our food in the sun.

It was so exciting to find a vegan cafe in Pisa. It is a small place with a small bench inside and a small seat outside. We ordered a hot dog and a tofu wrap. I also had a fresh juice. The person in the cafe was so helpful and nice. My tofu was vegetable and the wrap contained cheese and a vegetable tofu piece. Delicious.

It was a really good experience visiting this store whilst in Pisa. Many different choices in terms of meals, and snacks and drinks. The owner was very happy to talk through and recommend things. For me, the bread was too crusty and large whilst the filling was too small making it a bit of a dry meal, but it was still enjoyable.

I was drawn here by all the 5- star reviews, but I was a bit disappointed.
Read moreAll of the burgers, tofu and seitan are store-bought. I could have gotten most of it from the supermarket in my hometown.
Portions are also pretty shall and therefore expensive, compared to the restaurants in the area. We shared 3 sandwiches, which was not really enough for dinner for two. There's hardly any place to sit, so we ate our sandwiches on a square nearby.
All in all, if you need a lunch on the go and can't face another grilled vegetables sandwich, try the kebab.
I wouldn't go out of my way to find it though. There's several places on Via Santa Maria with vegan options that looked better.

Such a treat to find this during a day out in Pisa, lovely man who works there and a surprising amount of vegan goodies inside. I love that there’s options you can choose to make your own unique sandwich/wrap. Good selection of vegan drinks too! Also great to see the minimal/ recyclable packaging they have around the food to take away.

We had the hot dog and burger rolls, which were tasty and very reasonably priced for portion size and location. Great selection of accompaniments. All made with care from the kind owner who is clearly passionate about vegan/animal causes. Had a nice chat with him. Great location, a short walk from the tower. Quite small to eat in - just a few chairs at a bar.

A large range of delicious wraps, healthy and satisfying, such a relief after all the pizza and pasta everywhere! The guy that runs it was really friendly and obviously this was a business with vegan ethics at its core. Quite small inside, but we 4 of us squished in and it was fun!

Menu might seem tricky, but owner speaks English very well so you can combine your meal however you prefer! Food very delicious, and in my opinion it's also cheap. Place is small so I'd recommend asking where the end of the line is when you come, because I was very confused who is waiting for food already and who is waiting to order

Very nice owner. Loads of choices for vegan Piadine, Sandwiches, Burgers and sweets. Plus the place sells a range of vegan products, among them all vegan cheese made in Tuscany. A must-visit if you are near Pisa, not to miss!

Sehr netter Inhaber. Grosse Auswahl an veganen Piadine, Sandwiches, Burger und Desserts (z.B. vegane Crepes mit Schokolade & Banane). Zudem können einige Produkte vor Ort gekauft werden, darunter veganer Käse aus der Toskana. Wer in der Nähe von Pisa ist, muss Vegan Come Koala unbedingt besuchen!
