Great food & gluten-free options! - Edit
The food was delicious, cheap and ready super fast! The staff spoke excellent English, and were aware of what gluten-free means, without needing to show my gluten-free card. She pointed out around 8 dishes I could have. So grateful to find GF options here!

Tea leaves salad is a must try - Edit
We ordered 5 items from the menu and Tea leaves salad is by far the best thing we have eaten in Chiang Mai. All the food items were good.

Incredible! Definitely worth a visit! - Edit
My favourite meal in Chiang Mai so far. Really lovely street foot stall in the nicest food market, with bars, stalls and live music. Over 20 dishes all 80 baht each (£1.80)!! Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Will really try to revisit.

Sushi the Thai way - Edit
I only had a fresh tempeh roll. It was served super speedy. Very tasty but a bit pricey for the Chiang Mai standard.

Good value fresh food but be wary of rain - Edit
This food stall is located in Phaploan Market, a night market in the Night Bazaar area of Chiang Mai. Each dish here costs 80 THB, so it is very affordable. The food is made on site, guaranteeing freshness, but it also means you need to wait ten minutes. Phaploan Market has clean toilets at the back. One downside of this place is that the seating is not covered (unlike in the nearby Anusarn and Kalare markets) so if it rains heavily, you will get wet.

Pad kaprao was alright - Edit
Food here wasn’t bad by any means and I’d give it a 3.5 if I could, I just wasn’t blown away. Maybe it was my fault for trying to spare my stomach some anguish and asking for not so spicy, but the pad krapao just seemed to be lacking something. But nonetheless it was a decent portion for the price and it’s always nice to have a full vegan option at food markets. If I’m at the bazaar again I’ll definitely give it another try.

Pure magic. Busy place so be prepared to wait awhile. Or I think she forgot about my order but then saw me and remembered. But worth the wait.

Very good green curry noodles, served with crispy corn bites and some pickled veggies. Awesome taste.
Read moreThe spinach and tempeh curry was very tasty, but not that big of a portion compared to the noodles. That was a shame.
Overall a very recommendable! There was a proper line the whole time, so it's a popular place :-)

Tempeh Spinach Curry to die for - Edit
We saw the vegan logo and were hooked immediately. Every dish costs 80b and they have aprox 20 different ones. We chose drunken noodles and tempeh spinach curry. Oh boy what a pleasant surprise. The curry will be one of my Chiang Mai highlights for sure.

I don’t usually write reviews but this really deserved it. Full of flavour, authentic, well presented, healthy and cheap. The owner was so sweet and made food for us even thought she was about to close when we got there. 100% recommended

Not totally blown away - Edit
The market is very western-centric, but the food was still pretty authentic! The tea leaves salad which seems to be their specialty was tasty (although it was the first time I tried so I have no reference point) the tempeh-spinach curry was subtle and missed some kick and aroma. The tempeh was of a very thin structure. Also the portions were smaller than we expected.
Read morePros: Nice tea leaves salad, Pretty nice market
Cons: Portions could have been bigger
