Unbelievably tasty vegan Thai food! - Edit
We had stir fried mixed vegetables, sweet corn fritters, rice noodle with cream curry and cabbage rolls, and it was so good! We even got a box to take the leftovers with us back to the hotel. Great portion size! We will come back for more!

Tasty, vegan and eco-food - Edit
We was here many times when this place was a stall on Night Market (end of 2019). Prices was cheap and food was amazing: healthy, but very tasty. Also on Market their stall not used plastic and had free water. It was so good. I'm in love their vegan tofu-mushroom nigiri sushi anв tempeh curry. Also they served amazing banana flower salad in cabbage list instead plate.

Wow! - Edit
This food is simply amazing! Might be my favorite meal all trip and I have been eating a lot lol. Love the presentation of salads in cabbage leaves. I highly recommend the tea leaves salad, mushroom sushi, fritters and the spinach Tempeh curry, but you also can’t go wrong with the pumpkin tofu curry or the crispy mushroom salad.

Good Vegan Street Food - Edit
We were pleasantly surprised with the eco-friendly way the food was presented: Banana flower petal for a dish, bamboo tray, banana leaf mat, cabbage leaf used as a bowl, metal silverware, no straws and ceramic mugs for water.
Read morePros: Very good price, fast service, nice presentation and atmosphere

Affordable Vegan Asian/Thai Dishes - Edit
Ploen Ruedee Night Market is located at the end of the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar stretch, closer to Tha Phae Gate. V Secret is located within Ploen Ruedee Night Market. I tried 3 vegan food items for 140 baht, which was very affordable. The tempeh curry was small in amount and slightly bland. The Northern Thai sausage mock meat fell apart easily but was flavourful with spices and herbs. The fried banana flower fritters were outstanding due to the varied tastes and textures - crunchy, chewy, sweet, and sour. Definitely worth a try if you want to try vegan Asian/Thai dishes, and they look and taste good. Some strangers even came up to me to ask where I had bought my food!

Best food I've had in Chiang Mai! - Edit
This little food stall in the food court of the night market is hands down the best food I've had in Chiang Mai. The tea leaf salad and pumpkin curry were especially delicious and only mildly spicy. Served on banana leaves, cabbage leaves, and reusable bowls with absolutely no waste. Definitely five stars!

Great food - Edit
Husband and I were in Chiang Mai for a week Nov 17 onwards. Having read the favourable reviews, I really wanted to find this place - and amazingly, our hotel, the Dusit2, turned out to be next door to the night market in question, Ploen Ruedee, where this remarkable lady operates. We ate there 5 nights in a row, and loved her food every single time. The flavours, textures, choice - and price - were unbeatable. She's marvellous. A new-wave vegan chef in the making. Deserves to go on to greater fame. Lady, whoever you are, I salute you.

Mediocre food - Edit
I had the Chiang mai curry with tempeh sausage and mushroom sushi. I didn't like either dish unfortunately. The curry was rather bland and the veg wasn't cooked thoroughly. The tempeh was ok and flavourful, but I didn't personally like it. Reasonably priced though. 140 baht for 3 dishes.

Great food. Our family tried the Tom Sum soup, red curry, veggie sushi, tofu banana flower fritters (absolutely amazing btw) and the chiang mai curry. Everything was incredibly good and well-presented. The market where this is has live music, lots of options for drinks. Great find! This all came to a total of 240 baht (about $8.00)

Absolutely Delicious!!!! - Edit
This place was amazing! I ended up ordering the mushroom sushi, pomelo salad, and tea leaf salad. At first after I ordered, I was thinking I should have gotten something that would be more than just salads, but once I got my food, they were outstanding, full of texture and flavor, and left me feeling so good after I ate! I want to try everything here now!!!
