Best vegan salad :)

Had tempeh salad, super delicious & affordable at 50 baht! Came back for the next few nights to try their tea leaves salad, and banana stem salad. Both tasted great!

If you are at Ploen Ruedee night market, the food from this stall is a must try! Best vegan salads that I had in this trip!

Pros: Great atmosphere at Ploen Ruedee night market , Delicious food at reasonable prices

Awesome!!!

One of the best street food stalls that we've been through our trip to chiang mai. My boyfriend tried nearly all of the dishes and was completely mind blowed by their tastes. If you're in Chiang Mai, you have to go here and try at least 3 of the dishes as the size of the dishes are perfect to try several of them. Prices are absolutely fine! Will miss this food a lot!

Pros: Huge offer on vegan dishes , Perfect prices

Great experience

Cute little stand in the night bazaar. Since it is a food stand the menu is not huge. But great quality and good price. Also seating in the night bazaar is a great atmosphere.

Pros: The chiang mai sausages nice bursting with flavour

Cons: Can not fault it

Soooooooo good!

We ate here twice because it's so god and plan to go back when we return to chiang mai. I have no idea how they make so many tasty thing in such a small space - very impressive. Our favourites were the banana flour fritters, the mushroom sushi and the fried mushroom salad: just so so tasty. I would also recommend the sweetcorn fritters with sweet chilli dipping sauce and potato croquets with sweet chilli dipping sauce. The currys that we had weren't as amazing as the other dishes although they were still good. Perhaps we should have asked for them to. E more spicy. Anyway I would highly recommend. Such good food at a good price!

Pros: Absolutely delicious and imaginative food, Really friendly staff , All vegan

Cons: Nothing

Worth the wait

Lots of variety, and good prices for the amount of food. Had a lovely coconut soup with a corn fritter, tasty fresh spring rolls for 100 baht. My partner had a delightful spicy curry sausage soup with rice, tea leaf salad in a cabbage cup, and fried banana flower roll for 140 baht. Very tasty and filling. Especially loved the coconut soup (I was sick and it really soothed my throat while still having a pleasant heat/spice), curry sausage soup (unique taste) and fried banana flower (just wow)! I also loved that everything was served on a banana leaf and the sauce was in a hallowed out cucumber - no plastic! Food did take more than double the projected time (25 minutes instead of 10), but worth the wait - maybe it was just a busy Friday night but everyone seemed to be having a similar experience. Like I said, worth it, just make sure you are OK to wait. Would recommend and return. Free table water and kind staff.

Pros: Good value, Variety, No plastic

Cons: Wait longer than expected

Excellent Thai food

We really loved the food! We had six items (tea leave salad, pomelo salad, Chiang Mai sausage, banana flower fritter, red curry, noodle soup) and all of them have been delicious! 140 Baht for three items are a very fair price. Can't recommend the place enough.

Best of the trip

Great food. Especially the banana flower tofu fritters and tom yum. Great atmosphere. So much diversity walking around and sd smells and music. I'm guessing it is a mother daughter team at the helm and they served up some great food warm smiles. Definitely coming back here anytime I come this way again.

Great vegan food at great price point. 3 courses for 140 baht

The food is amazing! We had a salad, a curry and the mushroom sushi. Especially the sushi and the salad were super tasty. If you want the food to be spicy, you need to tell the staff. The location is right in the tourist area and the food there is therefore a lot less spicy then everywhere else. Highly recommend!

Pros: Super tasty at low price. Food looks also great

Cons: No drinks except for free cool water

Brilliant

From the taste, to the presentation, to the price. Everything about this place is top quality. Hidden amongst the other vendors of a night market food court, this place stands out for all the right reasons!

Pros: Delicious, Cheap, Great presentation

Cons: Might be closed on sundays

Tasty, affordable Thai food

Has a ton of good menu items to choose from and they are all very delicious. Can order 3 separate dishes for an extremely fair price. Enyoyed the mushroom "tofu" sushi, the curries (tofu/pumpkin & tempeh/spinach were both delicious). The salads are also on point, especially the pomelo one.

Curries come with red rice (although I suspect it's red mixed with white rice). The only gripe I have is that they did not have any of the steamed menu items (cabbage rolls & steamed banana flower mushroom soya) on both occasions I went (she said she did not prepare them).

Deffinitely a must try when in Chiang Mai.

Pros: Good food, affordable

Cons: Consistently missing menu items

Best vegan food all trip!

I had the pumpkin tofu curry with rice and potato balls! It was so yummy, was full of flavour. I even went back again the next night and had the same thing even though there was more options! Was super cheap as well! 2 dishes for 100 baht (£2.66)!

Pros: tasty food, super cheap, lots of options

Wow - What an experience at Chiang Mai Night Market

Who knew a street food stall can serve such a delicious meal? At such a reasonable price? That was platted like a restaurant?

If you’d like this do visit. The food takes a bit longer to come, but not really very long. The two ladies take good care you and prepare the dishes fresh as quickly as they can.

We had a Banana Stem Salad and a Vegan Chiang Mai Sausages with Tempeh Red Curry (comes with red rice). These are actually three dishes and costed 140 Bahts - Approximately $6-$7 CAD. For two people. Let it sink.

The Banana Flower is a very difficult Vegetable to clean and is very time consuming. We personally love it, but avoid as it takes a long time to clean and prep. The taste of this dish if I could 10 stars out 5. It was a bit salty, sweet and sour and a touch of spice. It had a crunch and it had elements that’s were soft. One the best dishes I have ever had.

The sausages were again amazing. A bit on the spicy side for the Mrs. however it was perfect for me. The rice cooked perfectly and the curry amazing as well the freshness of the curry and flavour were on the spot. Not much Tempeh but not complaining.

A must visit if you are in Chiang Mai.

Pros: Reasonable Prices, Within the Night Market, Amazing Fresh Food

Cons: A bit noisy when loud music playing just outside, Outdoors - so if it rains, your meal amy be ruined, Can take a bit long for your food to be prepared

Pros: Low cost, Variety of fresh items , Can try many dishes

Sweet little Stand at the Ploen Ruedee Night Market

I ate there two times while staying in Chiang Mai because it was so good.
They offer many vegan thai dishes, so that everyone can find something.
Also the shop is environmental friendly and does not use plastics.

Absolutely delicious

Wow this was delicious, we found it on happy cow and initially didn't realise it would be in a big touristy food market. The market wasn't that enjoyable as it's just tourist stuff not Thai, but the food was well worth it and we're so glad we came!!!

The menu was interesting, not just your usual vegan stuff, some really cool variety and beautifully presented as well.

Pros: Delicious , Beautiful presentation, Interesting options

Great Presentation

I stumbled upon this place whilst least expecting it. A very busy street stall style outlet. I had to wait 10 minutes for my food and the fried fritters were cold by the time I got them. A little disappointing. The tea leaf salad was to die for. The servings were generous for 100thb for two (minimum order)
I will be back, even tho I try to avoid the night bizarre

Pros: Full vegan menu, Lots of unique Thai dishes, Free drinking water

Cons: Very busy so a wait for the food

Decent street food

There aren't a lot of options when it comes to street food at the night bazaar, and V Secret is a decent option. Unfortunately they were very busy, so it took a long time to order and wait, and our food was all very cold when we got it. The tempeh red curry was ok, the potato croquettes were decent, but the Chiang Mai vegan sausage was quite good!

Pros: Cheap! , Lots of options

Cons: Cold food, Long wait
