Amazing food! Great vibe!

The food here is sooo good!
Came here a few times.
Ordered the satay tofu bowl (it’s a winner!)
The pink smoothie bowl (also a winner)
The Rainbow bowl (is good, needs more sauce)
The larp lettuce cups (tasty but hard to eat)
Green curry (absolutely delicious!)
Tofu stir fry (really tasty, although my partner thought it tasted a bit like ketchup)

Delicious bowls!

The best bowls there are in Luang Prabang, they are creamy and full of flavor, the family that runs the business is amazing, really good service😄

Amazing place!

Family-owned restaurant, a very nice place to have breakfast! We ordered smoothie bowls and avocado smash, everything was very tasty and fresh. We loved that they serve everything in wooden bowls. The staff is very friendly.

Pros: tasty and fresh, nice presentation of the dishes

Best smoothie bowl i have ever had

The tropical smoothie bowl is phenomenal, i'm sad to leave LP just because of that. Their warm food is also very good.

Wonderful cafe

Really nice little cafe run by a very friendly owner. The food I had was delicious and very reasonably priced. She was happy to adapt things to my taste - replacing feta with avocado on the bruschetta for example. The vegan Pad Krapow was the best I have ever had, even better than my wife's :-). I hope tourists return to Luang Prabang soon and they discover what a real gem this place is.

Pros: Lots of vegan options., Everything can be made vegan., Great value for money.

Relaxed Lunch Bowl Delight

I finally got to Two Little Birds today to find a very chilled place. I chose the Tofu Satay Lunch Bowl, nearly going for the smoothie bowl as well after reading the reviews on here but decided not to thinking it would have been too much. I have a very healthy appetite (ok greedy) but it would have been too much. Anyway on to the Satay - which was very freshly prepared - they actually apologised for my wait but it wasn't a that long and the food was delicious. I paid 35000 kip fors my meal.
A good, well prepared meal.
Two Little Birds, at time of writing, is obviously owned by a Laotian but has an Aussie manager and an English speaking waitress- so there is no issues with the language- assuming you speak English that is!

Amazing smoothie bowls!

If you are in Luang Prabang, I highly recommend checking them out. The smoothie bowls were so good!

Excellent service too! We chatted with the owner and some of his family and they were super nice. I hope this restaurant is a great success for them!

Very veg friendly

I went to this cafe twice and if it wasn't for the fact that they didn't have wifi, I would have returned for more.

The woman taking orders was super friendly, spoke great English and was very aware of special needs of vegans and extra requests.

They have smoothie bowls but unfortunately no smoothies, which I think they should add as an option, as I'm not one to want to eat my smoothie and love shakes. The pineapple lime soda was refreshing and nice, but I would of preferred a shake.

The absolute highlight was the lettuce larb wrap and the reason this place got such a high rating, it's a must try. Unfortunately, the lunch bowls were not available both times I came, so the menu was rather limited. Hopefully they will get them back soon. I tried the hummus toast, which was disappointing. The bread here was actually good though, not sweet and a grainy brown bread. However both the toppings on the hummus and brushetta toast were not good. The hummus seemed to have been mashed by hand with chick a peas but nothing added to it, it was missing oil, lemon and garlic, so it had absolutely no flavour.

The feta cheese bruschetta with tomato, local basil and red onion and balsamic vinegar tasted very weird, quite bitter and probably could of used less red onion and not needed the balsamic vinegar, but oil and salt instead.

Over all it had good bread and amazing lettuce wraps; if the lunch bowls and shakes are added, it would be one of the better options in town.

Lush 5 star.

I think it’s silly this place can’t get a five star. By still using milk products and limited meat they are encouraging meat eaters to explore vegetarian food and allow people to eat together.

Pros: Everything vegetarian can be made vegan. , Reasonably priced for what you get. , The best avocado I’ve ever had.

Cons: I couldn’t rate higher.

THE vegan place in Luang Prabang

If you want guaranteed vegan, if you want healthy, hearty food with a hint of Laos and a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the Lao and Aussie owners then this is the go-to place for you. Never fails to impress (been in LP 2 months and we have become regulars).

Pros: Only place in LP for vegan cake and desserts!

Cons: Not open for dinner :'(

Great vegetarian and vegan food

Small cozy café with good food and friendly staff. We ate the avocadotoast and smoothiebowl. Tasty food and most of the menu is vegetarian and can be made vegan.

Pros: Also a plus that they use reusable straws.

5 star review! Beautiful cafe, turning vegan

The owner has a sister that introduced him to the concept of being vegan and taught his wife to cook vegan and vegetarian food. The place is 99.9% vegetarian (except some Saturday dinners they cook foor their friends) and every meal can be made vegan. Free water is served with every food you buy. I loved it here. Would be a 5 star review if it was up to me.

Pros: Fair price, Free water
