Fantastic

We visited this spot twice and really enjoyed ourselves.

We tried two of the sharing plates. The fried cheeken was really tasty - battered and deep fried oyster mushrooms. The batter was crispy and well seasoned for a good savoury taste. They weren't really much like chicken, but they were excellent fried mushrooms.

The satay was also excellent. There were six skewers. The mushroom chunks were tender and succulent, and the satay was spicy and well seasoned without being too hot from chillies.

We both loved the roti canai. This was the only time we saw a labelled vegan version of this dish during our two weeks in Malaysia, and I ordered it on both occasions because it was so good. The breads were perfect, really flaky and buttery. The sambal had lots of small pieces of tempeh in and was quite spicy. The dahl was well seasoned and quite mild. Our only complaint is that it was quite a small serving of dahl.

My partner also tried the jackfruit roti jala, which was a bit disappointing. The breads were fine, but the net-like style meant that they were missing the flakiness. The coconut raita was nicely flavoured, but the jackfruit curry was underwhelming. Everything else was so good that we're sticking with a 5* rating.

From the dessert counter, I had the brownie which was rich and chocolatey but very much a cake rather than a brownie for me. My partner had the banoffee pie which was sweet and creamy. The caramel was especially good, but the pastry could have been crisper.

We tried the pink colada mocktail, which was really zingy and sweet, and also the crookie party shake, which was a bit much for me in terms of sweetness.

Service was very attentive and fast. We reserved a table for both visits, just to make sure we got in - especially recommended for the weekend as it was busy on Friday evening. The inside is dark, a bit more of a club atmosphere than a restaurant one.

Updated for 2026

2026: a little disappointed with our return visit today. The food was good although the caeser salad was a little bland. We found the staff to be rude. One of the servers was clearly annoyed with us for asking for a coffee and her misunderstanding thinking we wanted another meal even though we had finished eating. When we corrected her she was rude and made us feel bad for her error. It left a bad taste and we won't be back.

2024/25: The resturant is beautifully decorated and atmospheric
The staff are lovely and the food is incredible! Cannot fault it! Especially loved that there are kids options and the 'fried cheeken'. Highly recommend

sehr lecker

Best vegan food in KL

They've got a wide menu where you can try adaptations on Malaysian food and your other favourites like burgers, pasta etc. We normally getting the sharing platter and enjoy and mix. The drinks are very good too. The cakes are even better. Service is excellent and it always has a nice atmosphere.

Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere

Cool

They have a vegan version of the national dish „nasi lemak“ which was good but a bit underwhelming and pricey. Still a nice place!

Good vegan restaurant

They have so many dishes. Some of them have a more western influence. I really enjoyed the food there.

Nice place

We visited this lively spot twice and really enjoyed the vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming!

The place has two distinct seating areas: one near the window, which is bright and airy, and a main hall with dim lighting. The main hall is quite cozy, though it can be a bit of a challenge to read the menu in the dark! :)

Food-wise, we tried the beetroot burger(i dont eat bread, so asked without a bun, unfortunately wasn’ really satisfied by patty) tempeh sticks, and the tofu scramble. We also had the hibiscus tea — a little tip: ask for some syrup on the side, it really brings out the flavour and makes it much more delicious.

Last time had salad and pasta which were actually better selection than today’s.

What is nice - they have a great selection of cakes 🍰

Place to be in KL?

Lovely and relaxed

Off the street and up the stairs to a great room with plenty of character. The room had a great relaxing feeling with exposed wooden ceilings and brickwork. Food was great and service was just right(Gav was our waiter) This was a great find and if we were staying in KL we would probably be there every night

Pros: Tasty food, Good selection (food and drink), Atmosphere

Cons: Lighting was a bit dim

Wonderful food & ambience

The vibes are so fun, the staff was so friendly, and the food was delicious! Recommend for a nice dinner while in KL. I didn't quite love the "steakk" (lionsmane mushroom) because I think it wasn't salty/flavored enough but the jungle laksa was delicious, as was the citrus-y and very refreshing tempeh salad. I also got a kombucha which was great!

Worth the hype

The vibes are immaculate, almost too perfect. Food is comforting and a great blend of east meets west. Went twice and forgot to take pics both times!

Could be better

Good Vegan Spot! Good mix of East and West dishes. Everything made in house.

Friendly service.

I went with the Beetroot burger. It came with salad and fries.

Both the burger and fries were neither hot or warm temperature wise.

Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing.

It would be nice if the back of the house would be stellar as front of the house.

Service and ambience were great yet food could have been better as I mentioned.

This was the most expensive meals I had in KL and most under whelming.

Room for improvement.

Unique pancake but too dimly-lit

We learned about this vegan restaurant from a Singaporean Instagram influencer who recommended this restaurant. It was our first trip to this restaurant and we ordered big fat miso ramen, nangka pancakes and 6 macarons. While the food in general are delicious and rather unique coupled with an attentive and courteous service, we didn’t like the dark ambiance that is devoid of proper lighting as it was quite difficult to eat in the dark. Secondly, there were ants on the table which highlight a gap in their hygienic practices. Thirdly, this restaurant is situated at the second floor and the only way to access is via stairs, which is not very elderly-friendly.

We certainly would love to return to this restaurant to order more variety of food provided there is an improvement in the flaws outlined above.

Pros: Attentive and polite service, Unique taste, Availability of Macarons

Cons: Extremely dark and dimly lit, Ants on table

Excellent vegan place

Not far from Petaling street, near Chinatown.

Fully vegan menu with a mix of eastern and western dishes.
The Jungle Lasksa was fantastic and one of the best one I had in a while.

Friendly and fast service too.

Prices are a bit higher than usual in KL but totally worth it.

Cool interior with many tables to sit at.

Cons: Prices are a bit higher than usual
