Gorgeous Tea House with vegan ice cream and more

SiTea is one of the most beautiful tea houses I have ever been in. The space is just the right size as to be intimate without feeling at all crowded. They have a couple of vegan ice creams to choose from, vegan muffins and cookies, and vegan milks to add to your tea or coffee. They also have an extensive selection of teas and drinks to choose from.

Pros: Beautiful decor, Good value, Friendly staff

Cozy, comforting tea room

This place is very sweet and charming. The location is close to the Takoma Park metro and has wi-fi, making it a good relaxing after-work drop by, or even during the weekends. The seating is comfortable with couches and chairs that are well-cushioned.

When you walk in, the place smells inviting, like warm tea. The lighting is relaxing, and the charm is evident. The patrons and staff are all calm by the ambiance.

On the right side, is where all the teas are located. You can smell them before ordering a cup or pot of tea. There are so many blends, it is overwhelming. If you're not sure, try the daily brew, which is made with a non-dairy milk and ready to order. They have flax milk and almond milk, and there is plenty of vegan snacks to accompany tea. This is not the best place for a meal, but, it is great for a cup of tea and light fare. Their dessert and food items are vegan - like cookies, pound and tea cakes, samosas and other savories depending on the day.

The only problem is that the seating is limited. It doesn't seem to be so crowded, but, I would welcome their success to creating a larger space so more can enjoy what they do and have to offer! Have some brewed tea, then take some home! I love tea shops, and am very pleased with this super-vegan-friendly one.

Pros: Tea variety, Non-dairy milk choices, Vegan snacks

Cons: Small venue
