We love Purezza (so much we even went to the Camden branch on our wedding day!) and this trip was as great as ever!
Read moreThis branch is much smaller than the Camden one but it has a nice cosy decor and ambience. Our server was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
They have a 3 small plates for £18 lunch offer but we had a 50% off pizza voucher so we went for that instead. We got the voucher through their mailing list - I’d definitely recommend signing up as they don’t overdo the emails and they sometimes have great deals like 50% off!
We went for the Four Cheese Pizza and Black Truffle Pizza and they were both delicious as ever! The sourdough base is delicious (they also have alternatives including gluten free) and the toppings and flavours are just excellent as well. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend. They were both great but if I had to pick I would say the flavour of the Black Truffle edged it. Both ones we chose also featured Honestly Tasty cheeses which if you haven’t tried on their own are available in Marks and Spencer and are also really delicious!
I also like that they have gender neutral toilets and sustainable toilet paper. Purezza is just awesome and I would highly recommend a visit!

Maybe the Best Pizza I've Eaten - Edit
Very interesting pizza selection - I had a delicious truffle base pizza with vegan camembert and mushrooms. Pizzas were £12 - £17.35; we didn't try the rest of the menu. Modest décor, friendly staff, good cocktails, incredible pizza. Nice as a treat - would definitely go again.

Jumping on the Purezza love-in - Edit
First stumbled upon this place mid-2019. Pre-vegan me and my husband sat down, looking through the menu, scratching our heads. The sever came over, spotting our bafflement and very gently explained the whole menu is plant-based. “Like vegan?” I asked. “Yup!” came the response. We collectively groaned but in for a penny and all that. What followed blew our socks off and started a journey of discovery that led us both to become vegan later that year. We visit whenever we are in Brighton, always feel welcome and look forward to every mouthful.

I Wanted something more - Edit
I used to be a big fan of Purezza Brighton so revisited yesterday but left a bit disappointed. Staff were not very attentive, I had my food before I got a drink. I opted for a salad and the courgette spaghetti, both fairly low quality. The menu here used to be much wider and prepared with more care. I won’t be visiting again.

Absolutely amazing service, venue, food and prices! - Edit
The second we opened the door the most amazing smell greeted us, shortly followed by a very warm welcome from the staff. We thought we'd booked a table for two via Open Table and when we arrived there was no reservation for us. That was not a problem as we were quickly seated at the last available table. It was buzzing and full of happy diners.
Read moreOur server, Mila was incredibly friendly. Mila promptly took our order and confirmed it back to us, ensuring it was all correct. (Not many places bother to do that!) Everything arrived in great time and was hot, tasty and fresh. We ordered three small plates: courgetti spaghetti, macaroni cheese with pancetta, plus the meatballs. The macaroni cheese was my favourite! We then added cheesy garlic sourdough which was the tastiest ever! It melted in the mouth.
For dessert we had New York cheesecake with strawberry coule. That was the best cheesecake I've ever had, including non-vegan. All accompanied by a glass of merlot, followed by an espressos martini.
Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, including accommodating many walk-ins. The three members of staff serving everyone operated like an incredibly well oiled machine. No one was kept waiting, tables were served and cleared quickly.
The service and quality of the food was outstanding. We will definitely be going back. Again and again!

I had a takeaway pizza, and it was amazing. The dough was tasty and fluffy, exactly how it should be for this type of pizza. But the thing I loved more were the toppings, original and so flavorful, it was a perfect combination. I can't wait to try all the rest of the menu!

wonderful place, very nice meal again, we had a kind of tapas selection of garlic bread, Caesar salad and mac and cheese and was a nice light meal choice for 2 - always go here when we can, pizza is amazing- the garlic and melted cheese on the garlic bread is out of this world.

It’s perfect. Since turning vegan I had declared “I don’t like pizza” or “Good vegan pizza doesn’t exist.” Then my boyfriend introduced me to Purezza and I totally changed my mind. The only thing to stay away from here is the ice cream, it’s not that good. But I can’t overstate how much I loved this pizza! (they also do fantastic mac and cheese and a superb smoked salmon and cream cheese).

Purezza is a vegan's paradise! I've been a vegan for years and I can confidently say that their pizza is some of the best I've ever had. The crust is crispy, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and the cheese is out of this world delicious. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and cute. A must-visit for any vegan pizza lover!

Their cheese is so yummy! Loved the pepperoni and Margherita pizza. The Caesar was meh, kind of creamy and no bite to it. Also small for the price. Tried the cannoli as well, never had non vegan cannoli so I don’t know what to compare it to but it was yummy!

We had 3 x small plates for £18 (daytime offer) from which we chose 3 good sized pizzas to share. We also had dough balls and olives. We generally eat A LOT but were both stuffed. Whole meal, including 2 smoothies cost £44. Amazing value and delicious food. Lovely staff too!

When I was last in Brighton, I checked out the Purezza location, having gone to the Manchester location and really enjoying it. The food is equally delicious in Brighton. The flavours and ingredients are superb.
Read moreThe only detractor, at least that night, was that a huge portion of the menu was unavailable. The server was warning tables shortly after they were seated and many groups left instead of dining. Even the drinks menu was severely restricted. I’m not sure how normal this is but something to consider if you’re thinking about eating here.

Purezza have been trading in Brighton for ages now and can still count themselves as a contender for Brighton's best Pizza, Vegan or otherwise. Sure they're pizzas are a little unusual, softer, chewier and some might say 'soggier' than some might be used to but they are ruddy delicious. The restaurants themselves have a relaxed clean and tidy vibe with great staff nd if you cant be arsed to go sit down the do take out and take away too. What's not to like?
