Amazing as always! - Edit
We love Purezza (so much we even went to the Camden branch on our wedding day!) and this trip was as great as ever!
Read moreThis branch is much smaller than the Camden one but it has a nice cosy decor and ambience. Our server was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
They have a 3 small plates for £18 lunch offer but we had a 50% off pizza voucher so we went for that instead. We got the voucher through their mailing list - I’d definitely recommend signing up as they don’t overdo the emails and they sometimes have great deals like 50% off!
We went for the Four Cheese Pizza and Black Truffle Pizza and they were both delicious as ever! The sourdough base is delicious (they also have alternatives including gluten free) and the toppings and flavours are just excellent as well. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend. They were both great but if I had to pick I would say the flavour of the Black Truffle edged it. Both ones we chose also featured Honestly Tasty cheeses which if you haven’t tried on their own are available in Marks and Spencer and are also really delicious!
I also like that they have gender neutral toilets and sustainable toilet paper. Purezza is just awesome and I would highly recommend a visit!
Pros: Delicious food, Super friendly server, Cosy ambience

Purezza is the absolute best place for pizza. My favourite is the one with pesto but their other pizzas and their specials are delicious tool. You can’t go wrong 💛

Great! - Edit
They have recently started offering a small plate menu for lunch, which is a great idea as it allows you to try several things at once.
Read moreThe set of 3 plates costs 18£ and it's excellent value for two people.
We got two of their pizzas + the mac n' cheese + a canoli as dessert.
Pizzas were yummy and mac n' cheese also very good. The canoli could have been a bit less fat for my taste.
The service was friendly and attentive, so overall it was a great experience.
Pros: good value, yummy, excellent service

Not the best! - Edit
Me and my mum went to Purezza on our first night in Brighton, it was a Wednesday at about 7pm. We were greeted by a very friendly team and shown to our table, as we hadn’t booked. Service was very attentive to start off with but sadly lessened as the meal went on.
Read moreThe food itself was okay, perhaps our choice of pizza (mushroom & truffle) was to blame as it wasn’t a usual tomato base so not quite the flavour we are used to - it was also quite soggy! The macaroni cheese was tasty, especially the ‘meaty’ bits on top, but was quite small for the price. The garlic bread on the other hand was delicious, especially with rosemary.
Sad that the raw tiramisu wasn’t on the menu as this was meant to be amazing, but we opted for the salted caramel brownie and the New York cheesecake instead - sadly these were disappointing and felt very similar to what you’d get at a lower level chain restaurant. Not sure we’d be back - I think we are more likely to try other vegan restaurants instead!

Best vegan pizza I've had - Edit
The pizza we had was so delicious, my partner is not vegan and also really enjoyed all their food! I got the pepperoni pizza which had chilli agave which was just 👌🏻👌🏻 and we had both the garlic sauce and spicy maple sauce for dipping. The maple sauce is a game changer! We will definitely be trying to recreate that at hope. Both of us were doing a happy pizza dance while eating and would 10000% go back when we revisit Brighton

Great food - Edit
The food was amazing! We weren’t really in the mood for pizza (yeah, I know, weird) so we ordered the small plates instead. We got meatballs, garlic bread, cheesy-balls, courgette spaghetti, lasagna and mac ‘n cheese. All vegan of course. Everything was really good and the staff was friendly. I just thought the dishes could have been a bit more spicy, they were a little bland for my tasting. Would really recommend though! The cannoli we got for dessert was so good.

Delicious plant based pizza - Edit
The pizza was lovely, especially the bases and the red sauce. My partner said it was the nicest thing he ate in Brighton (and we ate a lot of vegan food). The cheesecake was beautiful. Also have a doggy menu which is so cute. Would definitely recommend.

Litrally best vegan pizza I've ever had - Edit
Obsessed! I first came across Purezza when the food lineup for Vegan Campout was released. Before VCO I made a trip to Brighton and was desperate to try. I ordered the vegan pepperoni. The presentation was immaculate.
Read moreThen, when VCO came around I ordered their garlic bread pizza which was to die for! I also got their garlic dip to go with it, just because one can never have too much garlic 😉
I live in Leeds and have been planning a special trip to Manchester to visit their outlet there!
Admittedly, they're not cheap and when i was in Brighton, I had initially hoped they would sell single slices as take-away, I hadn't realised they would be a sit-down restaurant which was my bad but it would be great if a more casual, single-slice take-out option could be a future possibility? As I was shopping and had wanted a quick light bite! 💚
Pros: Best vegan pizza, High quality

The food was great, but having visited the Bristol and London branches, it was clear that the Brighton branch's food didn't taste as good.

Great lunch deal! - Edit
I was impressed with the lunch deal: £5 for a small pizza! The base was perfect and I really enjoyed the toppings (especially the pepperoni). The cheese was interesting (not quite the right texture but a nice flavor nonetheless).

I had a gorgeous pizza with artichokes, beetroot, mushrooms, olives and potentially other veg too that I can’t remember! Great toppings, great vegan mozzarella, great tomato sauce, and great fluffy base. Would definitely recommend for a tasty vegan pizza! They have lots of topping options to choose from

Really good vegan pizza! White based ones are a little wacky and not really for me but others seem to love. The normal ones are very good and they all have a lovely bread, nice and fluffy crusts. Reasonably priced too.

Make sure you book a table as it gets busy.
I had the pesto pizza with sausage crumbs as an extra topping and my partner had the pepperoni. Mine was cooked perfectly and had tons of flavour yum 😋 and my partners was slightly under done but still plenty of flavour.
We also shared the cheesecake which is a must try, we liked it so much we ordered a deliveroo the next day with the chocolate pizza 🤤
I would definitely visit here again.

Bland, lack of vegetables, heavy on fake meats - Edit
I was drawn in by the reviews, but if you're the kind of vegan who likes vegetables, this isn't the place for you. I ordered the truffle pizza, which came with truffle base, mozzarella, pancetta, and "mixed wild forest mushrooms". Given its name, I was expecting loads of mushrooms and an overall truffly aroma. I think I counted about 8 small pieces of mushroom over the whole pizza. It should more accurately be called a fake mozzarella and pancetta pizza. I had to scrape all the pancetta off - I'm not a fan of fake meats (never understand the appeal of something trying to taste like an animal's flesh) but didn't expect so much of it. Having looked at the other pizza's on offer, I notice the general lack of any vegetables. Like another reviewer here, I'm used to Australian vegan food, which most definitely champions vegetables. Fake meats aren't such a thing there. When I think of all the fresh seasonal vegetables on offer here - the new potatoes, the kale, broccoli, spinach, squash, red/green peppers, loads and loads of things, and all the chef can come up with is one pizza with some courgettes, and two others with mushrooms - really? The imagination could go wild - potato and rosemary is an obvious simple one, but a whole restaurant devoted to pizza should be thinking a little out of the box. What about falafel pizza, an Indian one, mixing things up a bit - all the eastern and other spices available now, sumac, zatar, endless. I really found the offerings dull, and they also tasted very bland and unexciting. I ended up throwing my whole rocket salad on top to get some fresh flavour, but it just wasn't worth it. My experience is the opposite of most reviews. Lack lustre and really not my thing at all.

Loved the pepperoni pizza with chili infused agave - original like many other pizzas on their menu. Did not like the garlic bread though, found it oily and bland.
