Amazing as always! - Edit
We love Purezza (so much we even went to the Camden branch on our wedding day!) and this trip was as great as ever!
Read moreThis branch is much smaller than the Camden one but it has a nice cosy decor and ambience. Our server was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
They have a 3 small plates for £18 lunch offer but we had a 50% off pizza voucher so we went for that instead. We got the voucher through their mailing list - I’d definitely recommend signing up as they don’t overdo the emails and they sometimes have great deals like 50% off!
We went for the Four Cheese Pizza and Black Truffle Pizza and they were both delicious as ever! The sourdough base is delicious (they also have alternatives including gluten free) and the toppings and flavours are just excellent as well. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend. They were both great but if I had to pick I would say the flavour of the Black Truffle edged it. Both ones we chose also featured Honestly Tasty cheeses which if you haven’t tried on their own are available in Marks and Spencer and are also really delicious!
I also like that they have gender neutral toilets and sustainable toilet paper. Purezza is just awesome and I would highly recommend a visit!
Pros: Delicious food, Super friendly server, Cosy ambience

Not satisfied enough - Edit
I would say I wasn’t really satisfied because there was music playing in the background and that was annoying but we also waited a long time until the waiter came and the location wasn’t the best either but the interior wasn’t bad looking and the pizza was really good

The parmigiana pizza is truly excellent. The sides are good but could be refined. I didn't get to try the tiramisu but it looks delicious.

One of the best vegan pizzas we've ever had - Edit
I had the four seasons pizza and my husband had a pepperoni pizza and a mac and cheese. We both agreed that it was some of the best vegan pizza we'd ever had (the sourdough base was especially good). It's not the best value for money, but the slightly higher-than-anticipated cost wouldn't stop us from going again

Fully vegan pizzeria - Edit
The cheese on these pizzas is GREAT and options which have nuts are clearly labelled for me to avoid. The toppings tend to be too heavy for the pizza in my experience (great if that's your thing lol)

Great food and options! - Edit
I was so excited to visit Purezza as i love Italian food and it defo did not disappoint 😍 they had such a good range of food on their menu, from pasta / pizza to deserts. O had the BBQ Bourbon Pizza and courgetti spaghetti which was incredible. So flavoursome! I wish I could have tried one of their deserts as they looked incredible but I was so full. The food is kind of expensive but the pizzas are a good size, you could easily share them!

Delicious - Edit
We had the pepperoni & agave pizza and a side of mac and cheese. It was all sooo good! There was a couple next to us who weren’t vegan. They were very sceptical of how the cheese would taste but loved it when it arrived!

My bf & I split 3 dishes for £18 and 2 of the dishes were PHENOMENAL. The pesto noodles were made of zucchini though & not labeled so. The other 2 dishes were so good I’m still rating 5 stars though.

Great food and beer, friendly service - Edit
Pureeza is really understated. It is not obviously Vegan so you can sneak non-vegans in with you and they won’t notice 🫢, and they will have a delicious meal, in a nice place with friendly staff.

Slow service, food average - Edit
We arrived at around 21:00, had our order taken at around 21:10, it got to around 21:30 and no drinks (water and a beer) had been delivered to the table, we had to ask again for our drinks, the wait staff then realised that they did not put our order through and no apology or acknowledgment was given to us that there was going to be a delay. The food came and was okay, we found the pizza sauce lacked flavour, although the cheese they used was nice.
Read moreWe ordered a pizza to go when the wait staff took our order at the beginning and when the bill came this was missed off and no pizza was made for us. Due to the time (around 22:05) I could see the pizza oven was closed so did not bring this up to the waitstaff.
Overall, this wasn’t a great experience and the food didn’t make up for the service so we would not go back here.

THE best vegan pizzas around - Edit
I’ve never been a massive fan of vegan cheese and I was super sceptical when trying vegan pizzas in a restaurant. I had no need to be sceptical, their pizzas are simply outstandingly delicious. They use their own vegan mozzarella which doesn’t have that weird taste or smell which I must say was a blessing. The dough was also really high in quality and they use an authentic pizza oven to get those charred crispy edges. Both the St James’s street and Hove restaurant are great and different vibes in each with good service to boot.

The best vegan pizza! - Edit
I have visited multiple times, trying the salads and many different pizza options.
Read moreI have loved everything I have tried! The pizzas are always so fresh and yummy, and I love that they have specials that regularly change. I have taken many meat-eating friends and family members and all have enjoyed the food thoroughly.
They even have food for dogs!
The sauces are also fab!

Bad luck or bad food? - Edit
I was really impressed and grateful that the menu stated all items could be made wheat-free. However, I went with a friend who is a meat-eater while I'm a vegan of 10 years. Unfortunately the Caeser salad contained inedible mock meat. We couldn't get our teeth through it. It was either old or not hydrated. This didn't make a positive impression on my meat-eating friend. The waiting time was also quite long and they made a dish we didn't order, which was a shame. I ordered the Four Seasons for the mushrooms but there weren't many mushrooms. The cheese was also a bit too gooey and overpowering for me and the meal was generally oily and fatty so it tasted more like junk food than fresh, light pizza. I was really disappointed that my friend felt she needed to complain/give feedback. It was quite a pricey disappointment. They deducted the salad from the bill which I appreciated and the waiting staff were lovely, but they seemed tired and overworked. From the reviews it seems like our experience may have just been an off day. So I would like to give Purezza another chance but I think I'd rather try other places first.

Cute and well-located restaurant.
Read moreThe service is very friendly and accommodating. As in almost all restaurants in England, there is a carafe with water placed on the table right at the beginning.
The menu has a really nice selection.
