Read moreThis branch is much smaller than the Camden one but it has a nice cosy decor and ambience. Our server was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
They have a 3 small plates for £18 lunch offer but we had a 50% off pizza voucher so we went for that instead. We got the voucher through their mailing list - I’d definitely recommend signing up as they don’t overdo the emails and they sometimes have great deals like 50% off!
We went for the Four Cheese Pizza and Black Truffle Pizza and they were both delicious as ever! The sourdough base is delicious (they also have alternatives including gluten free) and the toppings and flavours are just excellent as well. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend. They were both great but if I had to pick I would say the flavour of the Black Truffle edged it. Both ones we chose also featured Honestly Tasty cheeses which if you haven’t tried on their own are available in Marks and Spencer and are also really delicious!
I also like that they have gender neutral toilets and sustainable toilet paper. Purezza is just awesome and I would highly recommend a visit!

I was impressed with the lunch deal: £5 for a small pizza! The base was perfect and I really enjoyed the toppings (especially the pepperoni). The cheese was interesting (not quite the right texture but a nice flavor nonetheless).

Great toppings, great vegan mozzarella, great tomato sauce, and great fluffy base. Would definitely recommend for a tasty vegan pizza! They have lots of topping options to choose from

Really good vegan pizza! White based ones are a little wacky and not really for me but others seem to love. The normal ones are very good and they all have a lovely bread, nice and fluffy crusts. Reasonably priced too.

I had the pesto pizza with sausage crumbs as an extra topping and my partner had the pepperoni. Mine was cooked perfectly and had tons of flavour yum 😋 and my partners was slightly under done but still plenty of flavour.
We also shared the cheesecake which is a must try, we liked it so much we ordered a deliveroo the next day with the chocolate pizza 🤤
I would definitely visit here again.

Bland, lack of vegetables, heavy on fake meats - Edit
I was drawn in by the reviews, but if you're the kind of vegan who likes vegetables, this isn't the place for you. I ordered the truffle pizza, which came with truffle base, mozzarella, pancetta, and "mixed wild forest mushrooms". Given its name, I was expecting loads of mushrooms and an overall truffly aroma. I think I counted about 8 small pieces of mushroom over the whole pizza. It should more accurately be called a fake mozzarella and pancetta pizza. I had to scrape all the pancetta off - I'm not a fan of fake meats (never understand the appeal of something trying to taste like an animal's flesh) but didn't expect so much of it. Having looked at the other pizza's on offer, I notice the general lack of any vegetables. Like another reviewer here, I'm used to Australian vegan food, which most definitely champions vegetables. Fake meats aren't such a thing there. When I think of all the fresh seasonal vegetables on offer here - the new potatoes, the kale, broccoli, spinach, squash, red/green peppers, loads and loads of things, and all the chef can come up with is one pizza with some courgettes, and two others with mushrooms - really? The imagination could go wild - potato and rosemary is an obvious simple one, but a whole restaurant devoted to pizza should be thinking a little out of the box. What about falafel pizza, an Indian one, mixing things up a bit - all the eastern and other spices available now, sumac, zatar, endless. I really found the offerings dull, and they also tasted very bland and unexciting. I ended up throwing my whole rocket salad on top to get some fresh flavour, but it just wasn't worth it. My experience is the opposite of most reviews. Lack lustre and really not my thing at all.

First time at Purezza, and definitely not disappointed! A really amazing cocktail, great sourdough pizza base and fabulous vegan cheese. The pizza was the perfect size to leave room for dessert and the raspberry cheesecake was an amazing finish to the meal! I’m a fan!!!!

I had the Margherita Pizza, and it was quite nice. It was very crowded when I was there in mid-afternoon, but the wait staff did a good job. The outdoor seating was a good place to eat, since it was a nice, sunny, warm day.

So I didn't expect my trip to Brighton to turn into such an amazing gastronomic experience. All vegan pizza restaurant...what more could you ask for!? 😍 i tried the vegan meatball one witch I found sounded interesting. It was sooo good. The dough (it gets extra points for beeing sourdough) was amazingly fluffy, soft and to toppings was very tasty as well. Highly reccomend if you ever find yourself in Brighton.

The menu can be quite overwhelming as EVERYTHING there is mouth-watering. I am quite picky with pizza and those were incredible : the dough is perfect, it was perfectly cooked, the toppings are very sophisticated and unique. The dipping sauce were delicious. The sides and desserts also look very tasty!

I feel like after seeing all the good reviews maybe we just ordered the wrong items. The pepperoni was sold out. We tried the all seasons pizza, it was ok, the lasagne was terrible it was so waterey and runny , a real let down.

Had to make a space in our itinerary to visit the first ever Purezza in UK - the Brighton branch. Enjoyed the courgetti as a starter and LOVED our pizza - 'the one with the nduja'. The sourdough base is incredible and was grateful to try a white base on a pizza as usually I get 'the one with the pesto' or 'the paramgiana party' which are also both amazing. Overall highly recommend Purezza - a real MUST GO, but go with an empty stomach and prepare to be WOWed!!!

Purezza is our favourite pizza place in the world and we've only been to the Camden one so we were delighted to visit the first, original one in Brighton! The best pizza in the world (vegan or otherwise). Had the Nduja one on the white base - which was the first time we had tried the white base pizza at Purezza and it was brilliant. The Nduja was so tasty! Also had the Pesto courgetti which was great too. The member of staff there was lovely too and she is moving to Camden so will be seeing her in the Camden Purezza!

Really good pizzas, some of the best we’ve ever had. They make their own “cheese” which was very tasty. Had the All Seasons pizza and the Black Truffle pizza, both excellent. Not much else to say! Service was great too, really friendly and welcoming.
