Such a delight... - Edit

Our new favourite restaurant in Brighton! my mum (vegetarian) & I (vegan) were down for the night and decided to try this wonderful place. We hadn’t booked (a must on a Saturday night & Sunday lunchtime) but it was well worth the wait. Pizza, lasagne, garlic bread & cocktails which were all delicious. All The staff were a delight, so much so we returned the following day for the desert we couldn’t fit in, the best tiramisu & cream brûlée I’ve had. I cannot wait for them to come to London shortly, it will definitely become a regular go to for us!

Pros: Quality of food, Service from all the staff

Cons: None

Wonderfully friendly staff - Filippo was lovely. The pizzas and cheesy dough balls were to die for. Highly recommend. Add pineapple to the Volcano pizza is a winner. Reasonably priced. Super cocktails.

Pros: Totally vegan, Fantastic staff , Amazing pizza

great vegan pizza! - Edit

If you are in Brighton, you should definitely check out Purezza! The pizza is great (one of the best I have ever had) and the staff is very nice. I would recommend the Portobello Road Pizza.

purezza 24 Dec 2017 - Based on the furniture, style of pizza and plate, we would estimate this picture is from at around 2 years ago... Things have changed a lot since then so this review is not very relevant

LilianaJurečková 24 Dec 2017 - So I apologize.
It was my experience. It is possible that it was changed. Picture is not old 2 years. ;)

purezza 24 Dec 2017 - We haven't had those plates since late 2015/early 2016...

Perhaps Happy Cow can advise on their policy, but Tripadvisor for example the review needs to be recent/relevant i.e you need to have dined in the past year.

LilianaJurečková 25 Dec 2017 - The picture is from last year. I think August. I have just open an account and I have written my experinces from all of restaurant that I had visited. A margin of pizza was a little bit burned but I was satified with your service :) nothing wrong :)

Pizzaaaas - Edit

Yum. This pizza is phenomenal. Got the Portobello road pizza and a couple of drinks for a very reasonable price. It was crazy crowded with the holiday and all, but they were attentive and quick to get me a seat at the bar (perks of solo travel I guess). Weird thing I appreciated was that they give you a cutter to slice the pizza yourself -- I like smaller than average slices and then left half uncut for take away. Def would recommend this place!

Pros: Tons of pizza choices, Close to beach and train station

Wonderful Vegan Pizza Restaurant - Edit

What an amazing pleasure it was to come to this restaurant and have such delicious vegan pizzas. The 50% hemp base is worth every penny, great texture and flavour. We had the hot pizza called Volcano. The chocolate brownie desert was also delicious and as good as any dairy equivalent we would have had three months ago. We will come again when in Brighton and can’t wait for the new restaurant to open in Camden soon.

Pros: all Vegan, no compromise on flavour

BEST Vegan Ever! - Edit

We went on a one trip day to Brighton (we're from Barcelona) and we looked for some yummy vgan to try. We found Purezza and we couldn't help ourselves.

Pizzas were amazing (we tasted Cheesus and Pesto Manifesto) but we fell in love with Mac n cheese with truffle oil. They were incredbly tasty.

The staff was also kind and friendly.

Definitely is recommended.

Best pizza - Edit

Such tasty amazing vegan pizza! Took my vegetarian mum here, and she said it was the best pizza she's ever had! I hear they're starting a branch in London too, so hopefully the chain will expand to other places in the UK too.

vegan pizzas go marching on - Edit

I went here for me and my twin's birthday meal. Again it was nice not having to look at the menu with a fine toothcomb as everything is 100% vegan. The cellar toilets added a nice retro touch and the green smoothie is probably the best smoothie I've had. A very nice pizza too and a lot of options to choose from including desserts and hot drinks.

Pros: Quality smoothies, Retro toilets, All things vegan

Cons: Cramped, A lot of table noise, toilets could be cleaner

Gluten-free a bit disappointing - Edit

We came down specially from London and managed to get a seat at the bar on a Saturday night luckily as they don't take bookings for small groups. The sourdough pizzas coming out of the kitchen looked super puffy and amazing and the range of pizzas on the menu were all really tempting. I went for a pizza and my husband went for a burger; a pea protein patty in a folded over pizza base bun. He loved his burger, but my gluten-free pizza was a big disappointment. It was thin and crisp, like a regular shop bought gluten-free base and nothing like the puffy sourdough things everyone else was having. I appreciate vegan places that do gluten-free options, but when it costs about £2.50 more and is nowhere near as good, it's a bit sad. Perhaps I should have gone for a naturally gluten-free options like the raw wrap and probably will if we come again. As I say, the gluten-y vegan options looked amazing so I'd still give the place 4 stars, but please make the gluten-free options a bit more comparable!

Pros: Great range of toppings, Gluten-free options

Cons: Gluten-free nowhere near as good as gluten-y

Delicious from the first bite until the last - Edit

After a long day of driving we thought we would try this place after seeing the reviews on Happy Cow. We had the Garlic bread, Smoke Burger and a pizza. All were delicious, well seasoned and really filling. We even ordered a raw Tiramisu for the drive home.

Proper pizza - Edit

Italian pizzaiolo and a proper sourdough Base as well as San Marzano tomatoes should give you a great indication how good their pizza is. I loved the choice, from basic marinara and Margherita to more fancy ones. We had Margherita and parmigiana and both were top quality. Shame I live so far to Brighton otherwise I'd be a regular. Well done.

Best Vegan Pizza - Edit

Loved the food here! We got takeaway as we made the schoolboy error of turning up without a booking on a Saturday night. There was an hour and 45 minute wait for a table but only half an hour wait for takeaway (yay) so we got a takeaway and are our feast on the beach! Which was amazing! Even my omni boyfriend was impressed! We had cheesy bites and cheesy garlic bread for starters and for mains my boyfriend had calzone and I had the cheesus! Was so tasty!

Pros: all plant based foods! very tasty!

Cons: quite a small and busy venue- so make sure you boo

Best plant based pizza - Edit

Super friendly staff! Saturday night was 1.5hr wait. We had a beer locally whilst we waited. Totally worth it!
We had the Pesto Manifesto on a hemp flour base and the Parmigiana Party. They were both amazing, especially the hemp flour based. Who could have thought pizza can be so nutritious!? We preferred the Parmigiana Party.
We tried both house red and white wines which were delicious.
