100% Vegan Mezze! - Edit
So glad I found this place. Our server (Emma) was extremely friendly, warm, welcoming, and helpful.
Read moreThe restaurant is decorated nicely. We really liked the table wear.
They have an outside area which could
Be really nice if you like sitting outside with cocktails and Mezze with friends, your partner, or even by yourself ( more Mezze for you).
My Partner and I had;
Falafels. These were pretty decent, not as good as some of the falafel shops I have been to, but as this isn’t their speciality they were done well. The falafel were moist and crispy on the outside. They were round (suspiciously, perfectly round) rather than the traditional flatter disk shape. The had a good flavour though.
Rissoles. These were exceptional, they are like a disc shaped potato croquet, but the rice crumb instead of bread was awesome. They were fluffy, and moist on the inside and still perfectly crispy on the outside. Not greasy at all
Aubergine Dip. This was unusual but delicious. The closest thing I can describe the flavour as is a spinach dish from an Indian restaurant. This was because of the turmeric and other spices in the dip. (This Dip is nothing like Baba Ganoush like I thought it was going to be. Highly recommend though. *This has turmeric in it so be aware not to get it on your white T-shirt like I did :( as it will stain it.
Chickpea Hummus. Standard dish. But can easily be done so wrong. This was really good, smooth and flavoured well. If you like good hummus, the. You will like this.
Salad Shirazi. This was insanely good, so fresh and paired well with everything we had, I mean everything. The dish was vibrant and had a delicious tang which helped balance the salt, and fried food ( I recommend this, I will definitely be ordering every time)
Fattoush Salad. This was okay, not how I am used the dish being. I wasn’t a very big fan of their version. In terms of freshness, and quality of ingredients it was spot on, but for me I prefer toasted Pitta and salad leaves in my Fattoush, rather than fried croutons.
Traditional Fries. Standard fries, but like the hummus can be done wrong easily. These were delicious they were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, seasoning was good. Not greasy at all.
Zattar Flat Bread. This was a nice change to Pitta bread for us, it paired really well with the Mezze dishes. Small portion for bread though. Would recommend mostly because of how much I love Zattar!
Easter Breeze (mocktail).
This was pretty good. They have a large selection of vegan cocktails but my partner and I do not drink alcohol. The drink was made well, and was presented very nicely. The tase was good. Would like to taste other mocktails when we next visit Bristol.
Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Bristol you likes Mezze.
Pros: Fully Vegan, Friendly Staff, Very good food
Cons: Bit pricey

Tasty food and friendly service - Edit
I like Iranian food and none of the mezze dishes disappointed and a few were really special. Reasonably priced too.
