Serves meat, vegan options available. A New Orlean style sandwiches poboy restaurant with something not often seen in poboy shops--vegan poboy that aren't French fry poboys. The choice changes from time and to and might be a roasted sweet potato & greens poboy or roasted vegetables poboy. Relocated from 811 Conti St. Open Mon 10:00am-8:00pm, Wed-Sun 10:00am-8:00pm.

So good! - Edit
I had the sweet potato and collard greens po-boy. It was probably the best meal I had in New Orleans. The collard greens were amazing. The only thing I can complain about is that the bread got soggy from the toppings. It's also a somewhat messy meal.

Solid Poboys - Edit
Tried some different vegan poboys during a couple of days in NOLA, this took the price. Great that they have more than one vegan option. We tried the cauliflower and the bbq tofu poboys. The califlower was the favorite. Worth a visit!

Vegan po'boy. - Edit
Exciting that they had three vegan options (considering how small the menu was) - Thai BBQ tofu, cauliflower and sweet potato.
Read moreI got the Thai BBQ tofu one and it was good BUT it could be great with some tweaking. It needed more seasoning and you really have to eat it immediately, not for takeaway, otherwise it's literally a soggy mess within minutes. The slaw and the tofu could've been more flavorful. The peanuts were bangin.
I also got a side of collards. They were pretty good but could've been spectacular with more seasoning.
I liked the atmosphere and the girl at the register was super friendly.

Don't get sweet potato - Edit
What a [censored] po-boy. They didn't season the collards, which were the main filling. So it made the sandwich bitter. Sweet potatoes were great. I hear the tofu po-boy is good and I would go about to try that. But disappointed at their culinary concocting. Staff was chill though.

Mid - Edit
I got the sweet potato po boy. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good. Nothing to write home about, I had better sandwiches in the area at 2 Phat Vegans and Meals From the Heart. Went here with an omnivore because they wanted an “authentic” po boy but their food was worse than mine, which kind of eradicates the reason to go here (appeasing meat-eaters). I might’ve liked it more if I had been drinking…

Great Tofu PoBoy - Edit
Great poboy place to visit with Omnis. Nice location in the French quarter with two vegan options. The BBQ poboy was delicious and filling.

Appreciate the options but not for me - Edit
I checked out both locations recently. The one at the back of Erin Rose only had the one vegan option, roasted sweet potato and kale. It was decent and I appreciate a hot vegan meal, but the flavors did not do it for me. The next day I went to the brick and mortar location. It has three vegan options. I went with the bbq tofu. Same feeling, I appreciate the option but the combos didn't do it for me personally. I guess I wanted a more traditional po boy.

They had excellent vegan options here! My friend and I shared the tofu and the sweet potato poboys. Both were excellent, but I loved the tofu one the most.

Casual bites - Edit
They had a few vegan options to choose from which was surprising because it seemed like a small hole in the wall type place. I had the cauliflower poboy which was amazing with the roasted kale and my husband had the tofu poboy.

Not a Poboy, Cher! - Edit
We went, with high expectations, and were all disappointed. Now, that was during COVID, so it's been a while. But, all I remember is overcooked greens and an unpleasant flavor. If you want a vegetarian poboy, best bet is a dressed french fry poboy from Parran's or Parkway Tavern.

Vegan options in NOLA! - Edit
I was nervous about eating on this recent trip to New Orleans. Thank you, Happy Cow for finding a place that could accommodate all of my party. I’m having the delicious Thai BBQ tofu and the smothered greens. Delicious. I would definitely recommend this place! #Veganuary

So good to be able to try a vegan version of a poboy. The roasted sweet potato with collard greens, black eyed pea and pecan spread was delicious.

Excellent - Edit
I was torn between the three vegan options. The owner steered me to the bbq tofu. Excellent, as promised. For those dining with nonvegan partners, the classic shrimp poboy is spot on.

Excellent And Multiple Options! - Edit
NOLA is a little difficult for food-loving vegans. I was so thrilled to find 3 vegan poboy options all in one place that I got 2 to hold me for a couple days. The sweet potato and the BBQ Tofu were both delish and tasted like quality ingredients. Next time, I’d begin my trip here and stock up the hotel fridge! I only wish they stayed open later.

Vegan Po boys! - Edit
I've never had a normal poboy, but I've heard finding a good vegan one is hard? At this restaurant, half of the menu was vegetarian, and half of those were vegan. They also had vegan steamed greens as a side which is hard to find! The Thai BBQ Tofu poboy was delicious. The sauce was tasty and the tofu was cooked well. A quick, relatively inexpensive bite in the French Quarter

Delicious, affordable, and fast! - Edit
My partner and I popped in here during a visit to New Orleans, and we were totally satisfied! I ordered the cauliflower po'boy with romesco sauce and my (non-vegan) husband had one with BBQ chicken. My sandwich was delicious and just the right size for lunch. I was afraid it would be huge from the pictures, but it was perfect. They had an ice water station and bathroom, too. Food came out within 10 minutes! The value for the taste is incredible.

Go early because they run out of vegan options - Edit
I ordered the tofu Poboy and they were sold out, as well as out of the cauliflower. I tried the only other vegan option which was the sweet potato. It was not well presented with 90% collard greens, an overwhelming amount, and only a tiny bit of sweet potato with no black eyed pea and pecan spread as advertised. Next time I will go earlier!
