Heavenly - Edit
The restaurant is really small and we were super lucky to have found a free spot. Good tip to make a reservation, because you definetly don‘t want to miss out on this! It was super delicious, the food was nicely presented and the whole place had a really cozy and nice vibe. If I‘d live in Paris I‘d definetly be a regular there!

Nice fusion food - Edit
We had a nice lunch at Kapunka vegan, with very fresh spring rolls, the daily curry and a Poke bowl with tons of fresh items. I was not blown away by the flavours, but it was still pretty good. The curry I had was pretty sweet for my liking, but fragrant, freshly made and satisfying. Give a try to their homemade limonades, they're refreshing & delicious!

Overall a good experience.

Favorite Vegan in Paris! - Edit
After trying so many types of places I can say this is by far my favorite in the way of fresh quality food at a reasonable price. The green curry, papaya salad, Tom kha, and mango sticky rice were all divine. Highly recommended even if you must go off your path a bit. Yum.

Amazing Vegan Food - Edit
Just left a different location of Kapunka (Montorgueil), and here I ordered the Vegan Pad Thai. This dish was a little pricey, but could have easily made two meals if I wasn’t starving. The generous portion of noodles came with so many delicious veggies and perfectly cooked noodles. They also had plenty of other veggie dishes for vegetarians!

Divin! - Edit

We had the pad thai here tonight and it was absolutely lovely. Had it as a take out, waited about 10 mins for it. Great food and flavours. This place does a couple of vegan dishes but mostly meat, we were going to have a penang curry but it only came with beef or prawns.

Disappointed - Edit
The waiter was super nice, but the food was disappointing especially for the price. Good starter and dessert but way too expensive considering their sizes. As for the main dishes, it was good but nothing WOW flavor wised, and way too sweet for us. There are better Thai places serving vegan food in Paris.

I loved this place. It's a small restaurant, and it's very cozy. It's not cheap, but it's not expensive such another place in Paris. The menu is simple to understand, and the staff is also very helpful. I recommend this place!

Monsieur K is a super cute little Thai place in the Sentier area. The decoration is quite cozy and when you enter the place the smell of thai curry welcomes you. Staff is extremely friendly.
Read moreI had a poke bowl and Mango & sticky rice for dessert.
Both were delicious.
I found the 15€ for the poke bowl a bit expensive, given the rather small portion size, and the 9€ for the tiny portion of mango & sticky rice really too much. I hesitated a lot because of the price but I love this dish too much so I took it anyways....
Pros: Cute decoration, Very fresh & delicious all vegan food, Very friendly staff

Delicious Thai Food - Edit
I was waiting for a real vegan Thai restaurant to at last open in Paris and with Monsieur K restaurant I was not disappointed! On the contrary!
Read moreI went there for dinner with a friend. I had a tom kha and a poke bowl. My friend had an advocado Thai toast and a curry Panang. Everything was absolutely delicious! It tasted like traditional Thai food. We loved it.
I disagree with a previous comment saying that meat is not the main ingredient in Thai food, so it is easy to make vegan Thai food, you just have to remove meat. In Thai food many sauces, ingredients and seasoning contain fish, shrimp, etc. So no, you do not make vegan Thai food by just removing the meat. There is a bit more than that.
If you are looking for real vegan Thai, Monsieur K Vegan is the place to go. Note that the restaurant does not have many seats. So either come very early or make a reservation.
Pros: Real traditional Thai food, Tasty and Delicious, Generous portions, Freindly staff
Cons: A bit pricey, Tiny place, not many seats

Thai food, done vegan. - Edit
Based on the reviews on Happy Cow, I decided to go to Monsinieur K Vegan for dinner. It's a small vegan restaurant at 5 minutes walking distance from Strasbourgh Saint Denis station (Google Maps will guide you right to the doorstep). The restaurant doesn't like Thai or Asian, but rather Scandinavian style warm and welcoming with lots of wood and stylish materials.
Read moreThe menu is in French only, but the staff was happy to help me translate. Since I was hungry, the staff advised a curry. I choose the yellow one (see photo) and it was wonderful. A nice variety of vegetables, with added mushrooms and tofu for energy. All ingredients seemed to be of high quality. Everything was prepared just right: the vegetables weren't too soft or too hard, the soup wasn't too spicy or too sweet.
When I asked for an orange juice the waiter didn't just pop open a box or a bottle. Instead, he got tree fresh oranges and juiced them on the spot. Great!
After dinner I spoke to the owner and he explained that Thai food is quite easy to turn vegan. In Thai cuisine meat isn't the main ingredient, so by removing it or replacing it Thai food doesn't loose it's taste. On the other hand: this also means that "Monsinieur K Vegan" doesn't serve extraordinary culinary delights: it's Thai food, done vegan and done well. No more, no less.
Pros: good food, pleasant atmosphere, helpful staff
Cons: menu only in French, not exactly cheap (but: high quality ingredients)
