Great food. Make a reservation.

Had a lovely dinner here last night. The papaya salad and tofu satay were amazing. Red and green currys were also delicious. This is a very small location so do yourself a favor and make a reservation in advance. Had a great time.

Pros: Tasty, Options, Location

Good!

Had a pho Thai while my friend had the green curry and both were really good!

I put four stars for two reasons

1/ our order went lost in the system and we had to wait so much longer and were served long after other people who had come after us were served

2/ the place is small and clearly loved so there were many people and they were talking very loudly and the noise was very overwhelming. From an autistic point of view it was a bit of a nightmare trying to find an anchor to stay there mentally as well as listen to my friend.

Pros: The food, The fact that the menu didn't have +50 dishes

Cons: Small place, you might need to book ahead

Very good

We had the Pad thai and the red curry.
They were both yummy but the curry was a little too mild for my liking.
The service was also very good.

Yummy vegan Thai

Lovely little vegan Thai restaurant. We enjoyed our dinner. The Mikati, spring rolls, and satay were very good. Indoor seating with a couple tables and at the bar. Friendly service!

Magnifique !

Trop trop bon !!

Overrated

Sometimes I don’t get the ⭐️. Yes the food is ok, but anyone can make this at home. There was no effort in the presentation (cf photo). Ingredients are very limited, the spring rolls were basically salad and a small piece of tofu. All in one, it’s just fine, but it needs to improve cause it ain’t worth it. The place itself has no spirit no decoration and low quality ambiance.

Pros: Friendly service

Small place so you better have a reservation

I had a reservation but since i was only one Person i was seated at the bar. Honestly not the most comfortable situation as the chairs are way too low. So as a small person it was very hard to sit and eat. The main dish also came in a very high bowl which made the whole situation even more uncomfortable and I was seriously considering to stand while eating

I had the papaya salad and the curry glassnoodles. I asked for both to be spicy and the waitress was kind enough to have the kitchen put chilis in the salad (which she even warned me about) and dried chiliflakes next to my noodles so I could spice them up as needed. And oh boy did they need it. The papaya salad was nice and the perfect spice but the noodle were a bit too fad to be considered a great curry.

Staff was super friendly. The price was 23,5€ for both which I found a little too high to be honest.

Also there were ants crawling at the bar. So probably not the best sign for the state of the place...

Lovely atmosphere and brilliant food

My partner and I returned to Paris for our anniversary and went out for our first dinner at Kapunka. The hostess works incredibly hard, the atmosphere is lovely, and every single dish and drink was remarkable. The tofu satay is flavourful and the texture of the tofu was supple. Both the Pho and the Pad Thai are a must-try and the mango sticky rice has just the right level of sweetness

Overall nice food, particularly the tofu satay sticks. Looses a point as they lost our order and we had to wait an hour for our food.

Your monday option

A Lot of vegan places are closed on monday. This one isnt. We dropped in early and that was our luck…
So make a reservation in advance. They had to say no more than twice to people. Food is good. Not outstanding but fresh

Tiny & delightful

I went a bit out of my way to find this place, as I'd kind of given up on Thai food back home once the only vegetarian Thai place shut down. It was worth the trip. The place is a tiny bistro-style restaurant with 6 tables and a small bar to sit at. Menu is also small, but has all the standards you'd expect (see picture). They offer good set-meal deals, but I ordered tom yum (papaya salad) and gang garee (green curry) off the menu. They were both delicious! Most Thai places in the USA just dump some veggies and curry past in runny coconut milk, but this curry was thick and rich, more a stew than a soup. I left feeling quite stuffed, even though the portions weren't particularly big.

While I was there, some folks stopped by with their own containers to get to-go meals, which were offered at a healthy discount over the regular menu. I don't know if they extra discount for bringing their own containers, but I bet they did.

Pros: Delicious!, Friendly server
