Humpit never disappoints - Edit
Tried Humpit for the first time many years ago and found them welcoming offering their own recommendations when it was my first time. I’ve ticked off York and Sheffield as well as Leeds now and whenever I’m in one of the cities for drinks etc I’m usually dropping in. Leeds has more dedicated vegan places now but Humpit can always be trusted for a refreshing quick healthier meal

Good, not great - Edit
The Filled Pita is supposed to be the winning option, but it's just not tasty. I kept trying to eat more to make it taste good, but it wasn't. The falafel were dry like what you get from a Tesco Express. The hummus was nice, but not amazing.

Full of flavour. They do what they do and they do it bloody well! Menu isn't complicated, doesn't need to be. Huge portions, quick service and lovely staff. Been multiple times and one of my Leeds favourites!! Decent prices too.

Gotta love that hummus - Edit
This place is great for a quick stop lunch. It’s exactly what’s its suppose to be. Different options all with hummus, total win! The portions sizes are generous and the extras are colourful and tasty.
Read moreI think if you started ordering a few sides it could get pretty expensive but they do have a meal deal which I’m sure would save you a few quid. I wasn’t ordering enough to justify the meal deal so it would of cost me more.
The staff were pretty distracted, although they were busy working. They asked a couple of questions about my order and rambles it out so fast I had no idea what they had asked me!
Pros: All vegan , Hummus is always a winner
Cons: Can get expensive , Distracted staff

Literally my favourite day-to-day lunch time spot, always in the mood for it and it never disappoints! The harissa hummus is a must and the brownies are so rich it's out of this world.

Really tasty food - Edit
Lovely location, very tasty food and nice vibe. Would have given 5 stars but I have two little negative notes: first of all, they only accept cards, no cash, and second, they charge 90p for eating in... and don't have many places to sit. Still totally worth it tho!

First ever Humpit and i will come back for more - Edit
Have seen various Humpit's around whilst travelling up North. Been looking forward to trying one. I was not disappointed, great tasting food with a quick and simple formula to it. Good value on the meal deal and all vegan options. Friendly staff in a great location in the historic Corn Exchange I kept looking at the geometric roof with awe and amazement.

Best Falafel in Leeds - Edit
I think it says a lot about this place that whenever I make a trip into the centre and need to get lunch I always eat here! The staff are always friendly and chilled, the food is tasty and portions are massive. You get good value for money imo and the corn exchange is a great location.

Pretty Good - Edit
Humpit has a great location in the Corn Exchange. The tables out in the impressive historic hall are a lovely place to sit, whatever the weather. The staff were friendly and helpful as I asked questions about the food here. I had a salad bowl, which was simple but tasty enough, though could have been topped with more than just two of the tiny falafels.

Lovely lunch! - Edit
Have wanted to try this place since going vegan 7 months ago. I love falafel and hummus and eat it a lot so wondered whether this would be a bit boring. Wasn't disappointed at all! Big pita filled with delicious falafel, pickles, salad and loads of hummus, yummy!

Good falafel, but I miss the old humpit. - Edit
**edit from 4 to 3 stars** falafel are much smaller and my pita only has 2!?! £4.50 for 2 falafel is crazy when there’s more competition in the city. Sorry humpit.I’ve been coming to humpit for well over a year and loved it for a very filling low cost lunch that would hold me over till dinner. It’s family owned and they were always so friendly. Ever since they’ve opened in the student union I think the quality has decreased and the price has increased (in the corn exchange too). It’s still a good meal and great falafel but I definitely don’t come here often anymore and I think there are better vegan options in the city. That being said, if you want to people watch and hangout in the corn exchange it’s the best place to be and for £4.50 it’s not bad, just used to be cheaper and I’d rather pay a bit more for a fuller meal somewhere else.

Soooo tasty! - Edit
I'm not going to lie, I wasn't expecting anything exciting. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Really tasty hummus and soft falafel piled in a huge pitta with fresh salad, pickles and sauces for only £4.50. I'd 100% go back any day for a cheap, delicious and filling lunch!

Good value, good food - Edit
Called in on a Friday afternoon after a drink at Brewdog.
Read moreSmall amount of choice - basically three dishes (Hummus Bowl, Loaded Pita and Salad Bowl).
We ordered one loaded pita which was great, and one Hummus Bowl which seemed a little small, so added extra salad.
All the food was tasty and great.
There some extra options you could add to bulk out some of the dishes.
Pros: Delicious, Reasonably priced

Below Average Falafel - Edit
My two friends and I each ordered loaded pitas and a side of pickled vegetables for delivery this afternoon. The falafel was on the dry and bland side. The fillings were also bland. And the pitas weren’t very loaded. The top inch or so on mine was so dry I just ripped it off.
Read moreFound it a bit inconsiderate and lazy that they didn’t label the pitas. We each got different things (I got salsa. My friend got salsa and mushrooms / onions). It was hard to tell the two without mushrooms apart.
The pickled vegetables were VERY salty.. To me, they were inedible... but someone who enjoys things that are extremely salty might like them.
While the food wasn’t completely appalling, it was not good and I would not eat here again.
Pros: they deliver via deliveroo
Cons: bland , dry
