Filling and delicious

I got the veggie sampler and everything was very well seasoned, and it came out warm. We didn't have enough injera towards the end, but we left satisfied and not overly stuffed. I have been craving to go back ever since I went!

Inconsistent

Veggie Sampler is typically good and the veggie sambussas are great. The food taste and quality is just inconsistent, which is unfortunate. I’m assuming it depends on who’s in the kitchen on any given day.

Food was great, service was ok.

Vegan Menu is clearly marked. It was a Saturday, so it was busy and service was slow. Met non-vegan friends.

Pros: One Vegan sampler option

Cons: Very busy, not enough help.

Great food.

I've lived two miles from this place much of my life and finally convinced my wife to come with me. The vegetarian platter and sambusas were great and plenty of food for two. We will be back.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Inexpensive

Huge portions

Full vegan selection. Mostly "curries" with either lentils, split pea, vegetables, greens, etc. Entree served in central bowl surrounded by 2 enormous teff "pancakes" for scooping. All done with fingers. One entre easily for 2 people.

Vegan platter

Dilemmas arise when the choice is Ethiopian vegan food... Make your life easier and just go for the platter! Choices abound in the platter option- red lentils, shiro, yellow split peas, collards, salad, cabbage, green beans and beets with potatoes. Traditional injera or rice is your choice- the platter definitely feeds 2 people. The food tastes flavorful, and some have a kick to it. Happy mouths and full bellies will result! Bring a friend!

Pros: Veg items all vegan, Portions and price great, Flavorful

Veggie Platter!

To second the other reviews, the $15 veggie combo is vegan, delicious, and feeds 2 people (or one very hungry person).

Pros: Delicious!, Relaxed, Inexpensive

Cons: Meat on the menu

Great!

best Ethiopian food in the area. Veg platter is all vegan and feeds two people nicely for $15. Platter is a nice combo of lentils, beets, greens, salad, carrots, and green beans some of which are spicy and some mild. Service is usually quick once you get a table.

Best Ethiopian food in the Twin Cities

I love Fasika and their veggie sampler platter is ALL VEGAN and only $14.50! It's enough food for two to share (although I almost always get my own) and is one of my favorite meals in the Twin Cities. I just wish they would open a Minneapolis restaurant so I wouldn't have to travel to Saint Paul. :)

I'd give them a five cow rating but they do serve meat so five cows is not permitted.

Pros: Amazing food, Great value, Relaxed atmosphere

Cons: In St. Paul and I live in Minneapolis
