Duo Bistro - Edit
This place is adorable, crisply illuminated in cool natural light, rustic woods, an embossed tile ceiling, all so inviting and comfortable. The menu is tight, seasonal and shows thought.
We decided on the roasted beet sandwich and the vegan hash. The beet sandwich comes with kale, roasted beets, white bean garlic humus and pumpkin seed pesto between a soft, chewy house made roll. The vegan hash is a melange of brussel sprouts, sweet potato, potato, and rosemary. Both savory meals were fresh, hot and visual stunners.
The one hiccup was that both dishes were low protein meals. The sandwich is served with hummus and pesto (which were brilliant) but we were way below the normal amount of plant-based protein we are accustomed to when we plan meals at home. Duo Bistro at one time offered a side of marinated tofu which would have been perfect for the extra boost with the sandwich. However that one gripe is minimal compared to the overall experience, Duo Bistro is a must-do, the flavors are spot-on.

very few veg options. - Edit
The only vegetarian options for dinner were a couple of salads. I ordered the Mediterranean plate which was all cold stuff like hummus and baba ganoush and mostly radishes. They cater pretty strictly to meat eaters, who did seem happy and satisfied with the quality. Food appeared nicely plated, but very pricey. went back for brunch to try the tofu scramble. Cubes of tofu in a nice sauce was good, but the plate was half empty, overpriced, and for the 2nd time I left hungry. Fancy restaurant for carnivores, but vegetarians and vegans should keep away.
Pros: fancy carnivore food, serves beer, wine and drinks
Cons: expensive, very few veg choices

Will work with Vegans - Edit
Had dinner there with non-vegans, this was a pretty good choice for a very nice meal. The chef knows what he/she (not sure) are doing, wonderful light, flavorful sauces accompany each dish. They use seasonal local produce - always a good sign. While they usually have more entrees they can turn Vegan on the the night we went they only could do a Tofu with mixed veggies besides the Vegan Polenta Napoleon which is want I had. It was very, very good. They did also make us a special appetizer which was terrific. Since the chef seems to understand what vegans want the more vegans that go there the more options they will probably offered.
Pros: fresh local produce, favors that rock your mouth, very nice staff
Cons: not many options for vegans, a little expenisve - but worth it
