Amazing food - Edit
Probably the best vegan restaurant I've been in Dublin. Very delicious food for a resonable price. I had a burger and also tried a bit of the carrot salmon pasta.

Superb! Awesome! Fantastic! Wonderful! - Edit
I have hardly ever found such a wonderful vegan restaurant in other big cities all over Europe. There are some good places such as Manna in London, Hank Burgers in Paris or Rasoterra (not exceptionally vegan) in Barcelona...but this hits it all among Purezza in Brighton and London.
Read moreSova Vegan Butcher is not only the coolest name for a vegan restaurant...it also has to offer the best vegan kitchen at this very time. The people working there are all very friendly, the drinks are superb (try the peanut orange smoothie) and let's talk food here: I am so sad we went to Sova Vegan Butcher on a Monday for the first time as this is their off-day. We walked to Pleasants St. and it was....closed. By that time we did not know how sad this really was. The next day we went there again and...wow [censored] wow...we had the Pulled Porc Bap and the Seitan Doner Kebab and it was like being in heaven. Delicious with no animal harm. If only we would live in Dublin or would have stayed a little longer (it was our last day), I certainly would be there every second day. Strongly recommendable.
Pros: Menu with a very good choice, Deliciously with no animal harm, Best quality food
Cons: Closed on Mondays

Blew us away! - Edit
In a lovely area of Dublin with gorgeous sights of street art if you sit near the window upstairs. The decor was a great mix of nature with psychedelic, really unique and interesting.
Read moreThe creamy salmon pasta was incredible, so much so we’re trying hard to recreate it ourselves and the kebab had got the seitan absolutely perfect. Portion sizes were huge and the fresh juices were also delicious.
Staff were really friendly and added to what was already a gorgeous lunch.

Absolutely amazing - Edit
Sadly our visit wasn’t as long as we would have liked. I wasn’t feeling well yet the staff was very attentive and brought me everything they could to make me feel better. They were very patient and friendly. They definitely helped me feel better. Sadly I had to leave because I wasn’t feeling better but we took our food to go and it was amazing best vegan food I’ve had in a long time. The visit was so good that first thing I did when home and feeling better was to write a review and say a big thank you for the welcoming atmosphere and good food.

Great vegan “replacement food” - Edit
A lot of “replacements” for actual meat dishes. So if you’re looking for healthy plant food this might not be the place for you. But what they had seemed delicious - I had the “kebab” and it was great!

Disappointed - Edit
After reading all the great reviews we were really looking forward to dining here. Unfortunately didn't live up to the hype - the food was alright and the service was average. I won't be going back.

Gets better with every visit - Edit
I've visited Sova three times, and it only got better every time. Not particularly healthy oriented in my opinion, but 100% delicious. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

THE MOST DELICIOUS - Edit
If I lived here I’d want to eat here EVERY DAY AND NIGHT. It was beyond delicious. It was heavenly. My husband. (Carnivore- no comment) loved it as well. SO GOOD!

Incredible - Edit
Amazing amazing experience. It’s so rare to find a sit down, intricate vegan meal and something that’s not fast food or a take away environment. Well done!! 3 course set menu for under €30 and BYOB policy for €6 corkage charge. Very reasonable. But serves own wine too. Couldn’t manage a dessert as I was too but would have had king skallops for a dessert instead as I’m not savoury then sweet. Gnocchi was also delicious and the soya schnitzels were an incredible flavour.

Expensive and lackluster - Edit
Had the roulade. It was 17,90 and the gravy was sickly sweet and the "roulade" was basically just hunks of seitan that wasn't particularly seasoned or enjoyable. The potatoes it came with were good and so was the veg, but the gravy was not even remotely savory. Didn't try anything else, but for that price I would have expected something much more refined.

Vegan Heaven - Edit
I have been frequenting SVB for a while now and totally recommend this place. Just not giving 5 starts because I think they should innovate and change their same and old Menu. I have had all options in their menu brunch menu at least 2x or 3x.

We’ve been at Sova many times for dinner, but still pending a visit for their lunch menu. The dinner menu is always great and every dish is beautifully presented and full of flavour. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and some items are GF or can be adapted.

Excellent vegan meals - Edit
It’s always nice to go back to Sova for lunch or dinner and have a delicious meal. Beautiful atmosphere and the staff is always very kind and friendly. I always bring with me someone who’s not vegan and they are all surprised with the food, they love it! I hope you will be adding more options to the menu soon!

This was some of the best plant based food I've ever eaten at a restaurant. The highlight being the seitan steak which was just so good. The texture and flavour was amazing. The daily cheesecake I had on two occasions was also amazing.

Sides are great, feature “meats” disappointing - Edit
The meals have a great “fine dining” quality, overall but sadly the featured meat parts are a bit blah. We had the schnitzel & the roullade, & they were mostly just seitan chunks, but the mushrooms, mash, etc around them were amazing, so clearly the chefs are otherwise skilled.

Go, but just for the skallops! - Edit
I had high hopes based on other reviews, but was disappointed. The food was variable: The skallops were amazing - it seemed like a lot of effort had gone into the taste, texture and presentation. Really delicious. The pesto gnocchi main course was expensive (17Eur!), and a huge serving, but the gnocchi were just an overly rich, heavy mush - really disappointing. Added to that pretty much every dish on the menu had soy in, so one to avoid if you have an intolerance. For the special prices it would be nice to have a special ambiance, but sadly the decor was really boring and I was sat near the stairs, where the music from the kitchen merged discordantly with the music from the restaurant space - not very relaxing...
