Exquisite! (Reservations strongly recommended) - Edit
Sova Vegan Butcher is an instant favorite. It's a curious hybrid: The atmosphere is low-key, casual, and friendly, while the food is haute cuisine. Works for me!
Read moreOn the recommendation of my very friendly and helpful server, I ordered the three-course special with the gyoza, schnitzel, and cheesecake. The gyoza and schnitzel were among the best I've ever had anywhere, and the cheesecake was pretty good, too.
I arrived for an early dinner, without a reservation, and it turned out it was fortunate that I was alone this time, as the place was totally full except for a one-person table at the back, so they were able to squeeze me in. When I called the following week (around 2pm) to make a reservation for four at dinner, they were already fully booked for the evening, and apparently that isn't unusual, so I'd recommend making a reservation at least a day in advance if you can. It's worth it!
Enjoy!
Pros: Excellent creative cuisine, friendly service
Cons: Might not get a table without reservation, parking can be a challenge

Incredible - Edit
I went there with a meat-eater and we were both mind-blown. We started with the red mince gyoza, which was delicious, then he had the gigantic chia burger, and I ordered the schnitzel, which felt and tasted like melt-in-your-mouth chicken fried to perfection. The raspberry cheesecake was a little disappointing, however: it wasn't smooth enough to my taste, you could feel the texture of the nuts. Overall though, this was probably the best vegan restaurant I've been to so far.

Delicious - Edit
I had dinner here. The food is amazing, just make sure to go with time because the service may be a little slow and it is busy. I went twice and both times it was plenty of people. If you're in Dublin, you cannot miss it!

Meat-eating hubby was happy and yours truly was in heaven! I had the lovely schnitzel with mushrooms and beans and a spiral of potatoes that was straight out of Dr Seuss. By which I mean, interesting to look at as well as tasty. Just loved everything here!

Great little spot with an all vegan kitchen. I stopped in for Sunday brunch and had the pancakes with rhubarb compote, delicious! Friendly staff and clean facilities.

So good! The three course dinner was the highlight of our trip -- mushroom scallops, gyoza, porq medallions, desserts all delicious. Really excellent seitan -- flavorful, thoughtful, and carefully made. I'd eat here all the time if I lived in Dublin!

I finally got to try a traditional Irish breakfast - Edit
One of the few purely vegan places in Dublin and definitely has plenty of taste. The moment I saw that they had the traditional Irish Breakfast as a brunch items, I knew I needed to try it and it was every bit as delicious as it looked! Great food, staff, and energy!

A vegan gem - Edit
I went here for dinner and me and my friend both ordered a 3-course menu (with different dishes). The menu is understandably very focused on faux meats but I thought the dishes were quite fresh and interesting! I had a wonderful starter of deep-fried gyozas, a seitan steak with mashed potatoes for mains, and a chocolate-avocado mousse for dessert. The presentation was fantastic, and while I have maybe had better seitan before, all dishes were delicious, especially the starter. The portions were very generous, the prices more than reasonable and the staff extremely friendly. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant - just make sure you book a table in advance as the space is quite small!

Wonderful! - Edit
All vegan, all extremely well prepared, all served with a smile and a friendly comment - and the taste was to die for! We couldn't stop eating even when we were full - 3 courses each and not a tiny bite left 😂 So happy we decided to go there after seeing the great reviews. We were NOT disappointed!

Supremely delicious - Edit
I was really impressed with this place. The food looked and tasted great. Nicely presented and some really nice combinations left me wondering how they did it and pretty amazed. Nice atmosphere too - the kind of hip place I like to be in. Friendly servers. I also went with a non-vegan friend and they were really impressed too. Perhaps a bit expensive (although don't know local prices) but totally worth it. I'd highly recommend and if I'm in the city again I'd try and go back.

Sooooooo good! - Edit
I went there twice and took the kebab both times. It is so good, the seitan has a nice smoked flavour but doesn't really taste like meat, which I'm glad about. Salad on the side and vegetables in the kebab, just perfect. Bring non veggie friends, they'll love it!
Read moreThe food is filling but not stuffing and there's always space left for a nice dessert (I tried the chocolate/avocado mousse and the cheesecake, both delicious!).
I highly recommend this restaurant!!! And I'm afraid I'll have to go back to try their other dishes (good thing that the price is really ok, around 10€ for a main course, 5€ for the dessert) :P
Pros: Really good food, nice staff, good atmosphere
Cons: your clothes smell like the food for days!

The best restaurant in Dublin - Edit
I would be a regular at this restaurant if I lived in Dublin, but at least I managed to eat there three times during my four day visit to Dublin :) Delicious food, interesting dishes, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. I brought my non-vegan friends and they loved it too. I highly recommend the "turkey" roulades!

Awesome! - Edit
Well worth a visit, one of the best vegan restaurants I have been to. For 25 euros one could get a three course meal and it is worth your money! The kind of food you don't make at home because it is too much work, the plating was also very attractive! Nothing negative to report about the place, also my non veggie boyfriend was completely mind blown by the food and was insisting of going there again some time soon. Well deserved 5 stars.

Simple food made amazing - Edit
This place rocks! We tried the seitan doner kebab and the pull (not pork) pork bap. There were lots of elements to both dishes (salad, pickles, sauces...) and every single bite was different and delicious. The portions were quite large for a very decent price and the staff was super friendly. We'll be back!

Classy and Delicious - Edit
This is a really nice little restaurant. The first thing you notice is how busy it is, which is a great sign. We got a three course meal for two and espressos for less than 60 euro. Great value for what was essentially vegan fine dining. They do not serve alcohol here, but offer corkage for €4. The service was fast and friendly, and most importantly the food was delicious. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.
