Excellent! - Edit
This was an excellent evening of top vegan food. The very generous portions - particularly the starter - led to my wife being defeated by the equally generous main course. Super food with great friendly service. If you’re in Dublin this is a must.

A taste sensation! - Edit
Oh my god. I have wanted to come here since it opened and never had the chance. Boy was I missing out!! Best vegan fine dining in Ireland. Everything was delicious. We ordered the scallops, seitan steak, soy shnitzel and chocolate & coconut dessert. Service was great and presentation was immaculate.

YOU MUST GO HERE!! :)
Pros: Exceptional presentation , Delicious combination of flavours on every plate , Service was fast
Cons: Can be busy so make sure to book ahead , Parties of 2 will be seated by a busy walkway

Phenomenal flavour, generous portions, more than reasonable price - Edit
Scallops and salmon dish for starters were delicious, fishy carrot rolls and chewy “scallops” with the cheesiest of cream cheese. Not huge starter portions but you need to save space for the mains which are rather impressive! Super flavoursome seitan steak and chicken schnitzels were what we went for and the mushroom dressing for the steak was the highlight. Lovely little roast potatoes and well seasoned mash too. Desert was not too filling which is ideal after such a great main, the mousse was nice but had nothing on the cheesecake. As someone who is regularly disappointed by vegan cheesecakes I wholly endorse this one. Comes in a cute glass bowl with not too much breadcrumb base and although you still get the blended nut texture the cheesy flavour is on point. Staff were friendly, artwork was lovely, music was eclectic. Fine dining made approachable and affordable without skimping on any of the quality👌🏼

Amazing! - Edit
This food is honestly so amazing. All of it is very rich but make sure you save room for dessert and coffee with a range of plant milks. All beautifully presented. The meaty options were great and everything was divine

Fantastic food! - Edit
I've been here twice now, for brunch and dinner, and both times it was amazing. Wonderful food also enjoyed by my non-vegan partner. Reasonably priced for a three course dinner, but we could hardly finish dessert we were so full - the starters are small but the mains are ENORMOUS. Make sure to have a reservation for dinner, every walk-in while we were there was turned away.

Good food, didn't like the ambience - Edit
We were sat in the corridor, very close to the kitchen, just a few metres across the toilets' door. It was very noisy as it was SO close to the kitchen. There were a few empty tables, we asked the waitress if we could change tables because of the noise, she said we couldn't as "It's all booked", but hey... we booked too and swapping tables before ordering the food shouldn't be a big deal...?
Read moreAlso, being on that area of the restaurant, there was people walking all the time and the tables are very small. I also didn't like the way the walls looked... kind of dirty.
The food was very good, I had the soya schnitzel, the mushrooms that came with it were especially tasty and also the sauce with dill. My partner had the seitan steak and he really liked all it came with, especially the potato and the pepper sauce.
I don't think we'll go again, unless we can know for sure that we'll be sitting somewhere else...
Pros: The food, great flavours
Cons: Ambience (noisy/busy sitting close to the kitchen), Staff didn't let us change of table when requested, Walls seemed to have food stains

Absolutely wonderful... I’m still salivating - Edit
This is the best vegan dining experience I have EVER had! Your food is phenomenal, down to earth and very fairly priced. Tantalisingly presented also. Your staff are AMAZING, they were so friendly and accommodating with my sister and I. I’m so happy I found you! (That sounds like a declaration of love, and I guess it is, in a food way). I am still swooning after your tempeh...

Seitan Steak - Edit
Nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly, however what we ordered wasn't nice at all. The seitan steak tasted a bit as if it was burnt and the texture was very strange too; the pepper sauce was just okay; the vegetable chips were undercooked and thus a bit too hard and just tasteless; mash potatoes were a bit too dry and the only okay thing really was the cabbage slaw. The presentation of food was nice but the portion was a bit too small too. I am comparing with other seitan steaks eaten elsewhere; this one was just below average and not tasty at all.

So disappointed - Edit
We were really excited to try this place but the food really wasn't good!
Read moreThe presentation of food and the staff were both excellent but the food was really quite bad.
We had the King Skallops starter and they were so rubbery it was unbelievable. I've had vegan scallops in other places and they're supposed to melt in the mouth but these were so chewy.
The main courses I had chicken goujans which were ok but still not the best texture and the potato was so dry! My boyfriend had the pork medallions that tasted a lot like sos mix which would be fine for a cafe but not for an expensive restaurant.
The desserts we had were ok, the chocolate mousse was good but the jelly cubes were a weird texture.
All in all we were so disappointed and the menu on the website had different desserts and pricing for 3 courses. It's actually 26.90 not 24.90

A must - Edit
Each item on the menu was creative and enticing, every dish looked stunning the way it was presented and everything I tried on my two times there tasted exceptional and freshly made. Portions are huge: the burger was bigger than my face. The staff is so welcoming and calm. If the weather allows it, you can sit in the sun. Do I need to say anything else? Congratulations!

Novel Idea - Edit
I like that there are more meat free options in Ireland and welcome Sova as an addition. I do not personally like overly processed 'mock' meat and calling a place a 'butcher' is disingenuous/veering on hyper hipster for my taste. However, I had the gnocchi and found it delish. Really nice vibes there too.

Great place for quality vegan food - Edit
We specially chose Sova for our first night out in Dublin even though it was a long walk from our hotel and it was well worth it. We both chose the seitan steaks which were great although the texture was nothing like the seitan we are used to - more like a very firm burger. Accompanying veg was good although the tiny patty of potato should have been twice the size. Wine was expensive but good. The only negative was that it was so hot in the upstairs room - especially as the a/c was not working.

Amazing food and friendly service - Edit
Normally they take reservations but we were able to grab the table outside pretty quickly. Don't be fooled, we got lucky, make a reservation. The staff was great, knowledgeable, and offered extra tid bits about places nearby. They serve wine but it is byob for other forms of alcohol. We ordered the skallops, potato gnocci, chia cheeseburger, and vpork medallions. Goodness gracious it was all delicious. Hands down favorite for all of us was the gnocci. It has a mushroom vegan parm sauce that is amazing. We also ordered cheesecake and that was a bit grainy, if you're into that it was decent. Really loved experiencing this place. Highlight
