My number one in Dublin - Edit
This is definitely my favorite fully vegan spot in Dublin. The Irish breakfast was delicious and suuuuper filling. Everyone at my table got something else and everyone was very pleased! It’s on the pricier end but it’s well worth it.

Sova Vegan Butcher - Edit
I hate to say it, but the food was really bad at Sova—hopefully it was a fluke and they were off their game the day I went.
Read moreWe ordered multiple things from their brunch menu, all of which were highly recommended by the waiter. The kebab (which they said was a must) was largely inedible with a thick sauce, dense seitan, and strange flavor. The chickpea omelette was flavorless, even with tofu and veggies added, and the tomato sauce it came with was sweet and cold when I expected savory and warm. Finally, the fries and garlic mayo were also disappointing, as half the fries were undercooked and the mayo was a little sour. Overall, this was a huge let down given the rave reviews I saw on HappyCow. I wouldn’t go back.

Worth a visit - Edit
We enjoyed the experience. The food is homely, and could do with some improvements especially when combining flavours. The favourite dish was the turkey.

Wide range of vegan food - Edit
So great to have so many inventive options however perhaps because of the butcher in their name most of the dishes were positioning themselves as faux-meat which is fine but a bit limited in its view. For what you pay the portions are not generous. I had the seitan steak for a main which stuck in my throat a little because it was so thick and a little dry however my starter of cannelloni was so light and delicious. The strawberry cheesecake we got for dessert was actually terrible, dry and tasteless. We had heard of this place through the good reviews on happy cow but were disappointed with our experience. Better in idea than execution.

Best Brunch In Dublin - Edit
A must visit!!! I adore Sova’s full Irish breakfast which features house made bakon, black pudding, vegan sausages + the most divine tofu scramble 🤤 Dinner is just as good and there’s something to please everyone! We had the cauliflower & potato pancakes w/ ratatouille + smoked tofu shavings, the seiten steak, soya goujons and the Caesar salad - all delicious!! The decor is lovely + there’s a really comfortable atmosphere!

Fantastic dinner - Edit
Great option for a special occasion, vegan fine dining. Love the relaxed atmosphere. Always great flavours for starters and main course but always think their dessert options are a bit of a let down at the end of a great meal.

Gourmet vegan food - Edit
Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, very tasty well put together food, artful presentation of dishes, decor simple with street art paintings...expensive though. Starter with main and dessert was €20 three years ago, now its already €30....50% price increase in 3 years...must be the rent. Can we please sort out rental laws in Ireland asap! I do think my plate looked a bit empty without some chips (French fries) on it or veg like the beet burger has on a photo I saw.

Unreal food - Edit
I’ve been to Sova Vegan Butchers a few times and loved each visit! The quality of food is fantastic, definitely my favourite restaurant in Dublin. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. From starters to desserts, everything is top quality!
Read moreSome of the dishes are designed as vegan versions of meat dishes and on my last visit I had a seitan ‘steak’ which tasted quite like red meat, a unique and slightly weird taste for someone who hasn’t eaten animal meat in over 13 years. Lots of other non-meat like options too. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
Pros: Fantastic taste, quality & care inherent to food, Lovely staff, Great atmosphere
Cons: Restaurant space is a bit small so it feels cosy

Top choice for Dublin - Edit
That’s the best place in Dublin. The service is so professional. The owner checks every tablet to see if anything needed. We went there with our toddler. He was crying at some point and he came up with a banana to offer him. Also he loved every bite he took from our plates. Good size of portions. A little fancy but worth it! The best chickpea omelette ever I had!

Sova is a 100% vegan restaurant offering the most amazing vegan full Irish breakfast. Their tempeh Caesar salad is absolutely huge too! Everything I’ve eaten here has been good quality, fresh, tasty food. They offer wine or you can bring your own for a corkage fee. Staff are always really friendly. Highly recommend.

Where do I start? - Edit
This was the most perfect fully vegan restaurant we've found in Dublin.
Read moreWe didn't reserve a table but there was one spot available upstairs. There was a really big group of friends who were loud, but after a few minutes we could have a table downstairs.
The staff was really really friendly and helpfull.
The food, gosh. I don't think I ever had such delicious food on restaurant the past 12 years.
I had the beet burger, my mom the potato & cauliflower pancakes. As a desert we chose the chocolate mousse. The mousse melted on our tongs, it was perfect.
If we come back to Dublin, we would go back here!

A great Happy Cow find. Relatively new storefront location and a bit away from the center of things in Dublin. So much flavor. I loved the kebab and it has that unicorn vegan food, the vegan crepe. Delicious!

Kabob & Pasta - Edit
Visiting Dublin for a few days from the States and came here with a friend. We ordered the steak kabob and the carrot samon pasta dish and both were phenomenal. The pasta dish was so rich and creamy, and the carrot samon so well marinated and delicious. The kabob was HUGE (could very easily be split) and delicious, crispy wrap with marinated “meat” and a tangy slaw and sauce. Highly recommend this spot. Also didn’t seem too pricy from what we’re used to - 26€ for 2 lunch meals and 2 coffees!
