Great dining experience - Edit
I am dying for this place to reopen now after covid. Alongside Veginity, Sova is the best place in the city to go for a sit down vegan meal in an all vegan establishment. It’s not too pricey when you consider the quality of the food. The menu never really rotated much but I had a few favourites on the set menu so that never bothered me. BYOB as well!

My go to vegan restaurant - Edit
I love Sova and cannot wait to be able to have a sit down meal here again. It's a lovely cosy spot, with attentive and kind staff. I always love the atmosphere in the restaurant. Myself and my omni family have been several times and we always thoroughly enjoy the food. I miss popping in for lunch when I am in town and getting the pulled porq bun, but sadly its outside my 5K so I haven't been able to for a while now. Cannot wait until I can visit again!

Excellent - Edit
I had the pleasure of eating here twice, for breakfast and for dinner. This was pre-COVID so it looks like the menu had changed since. Nonetheless, the food was excellent. For breakfast I had the vegan full English with multiple types of house made seitan. So much food!!! Still, I managed to roll back for dinner but lightened things up by having the best vegan Caesar salad I’ve ever eaten.

Absolutely delicious full vegan delight - Edit
The entire menu is vegan and there are many delicious alternatives to choose from. The Irish vegan breakfast mimics some of the usual flavours perfectly. I definitely recommend dropping by and enjoying either a breakfast or brunch!

Delicious and highly recommended - Edit
Had a beautiful meal here. It's byob and they didn't charge us for corkage the night we went. We left absolutely stuffed and satisfied. The waiter was very friendly and we really enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend the seitan steak as it was really delicious

A true gem - Edit
Visited here for the first time recently as it reopened with social distanced tables. Atmosphere was still so lovely, and the food was incredible. Such imagination, flavour, presentation, service. This is the kind of vegan restaurant I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait til I can return.

Interesting place - Edit
The menu may seem deceptive, but everything is fully vegan from starters and mains to desserts. The food was quite nice, not the best vegan food Ive had, and the dessert wasnt amazing, but the presentation was lovely and the staff were nice. Its not very obvious from the outside and the inside was a little bleak, but you can get a decent meal there and all allergens are ver clearly labelled

Bit fine dining for my tastes but OK - Edit
Have been to Sova on and off since their pop-up days in Rathmines, when they served on edible plates with impossible-to-use wooden cutlery! They've upgraded a bit since and so has the ambition of their food. They offer plenty of bold flavours and attempts to replicate high-end dining with the likes of shitake mushroom scallops and mick Black pudding, but my favourite food from there is still the simple stuff: soup, burgers, pasta, etc

Another good vegan brunch - Edit
The food was great but the menu for brunch is not very special. It’s mostly what every other vegan place is doing. (Except the Irish breakfast)

Although the food was good... - Edit
It seems every time the portions are getting smaller. My husband order the full Irish breakfast and we laugh at the tiny sausages it was served. We used to love our Sunday brunch at Sova, last times it was quite disappointing. Very slow service, lack of staff, coffe served in cracked cups, dirty floor... We hope they put some attention on the quality of service to don't loose costumers it seems the service is going down. Its a pity for the whole experience since the food is tasty.

Can’t wait to go back! - Edit
We tried the mushroom tagliatelle, garlic bread and doner kebab. Everything was delicious and great portions sizes! The pasta had lots of flavour, and was super creamy. I could’ve eaten more of the garlic bread, the bread was such good quality and there was lots of garlic. The doner kebab was huge as well with many flavors.
Read moreFor the drinks we tried one of the juices and it was well made, along with a tea, which the waiter kindly refilled without me asking.
I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. They also serve wine. It had a nice atmosphere with good music playing.
Pros: Delicious food! And drinks. , Great value , Friendly staff
