More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Aligning my values and actions. For the animals. For my health.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

To find the best places to eat when I travel and give props to my favorite places.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Madison, Wisconsin had some yummy vegan eats as did Washington D.C. and New York though less surprisingly. I want to go to London see what there is to eat and visit Vegetarian Shoes. I'm grateful to live in Seattle which has so much yummy to offer. I have a new goal to visit all the restaurants in the Happy Cow Cookbook!

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

I keep it pretty simple at home and really enjoy green smoothies, juices, soups, salads and fruits for dessert. Eating out I love to taste what vegan chefs create. Vegan biscuits and gravy for breakfast!

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

"We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves," (2013) by Karen Joy Fowler
