Had a really nice vegan option, chips and fishless fingers which we took to the sea front to eat. Hubby had ve sausage. Friendly staff and we saw that they handled our food separately.

Fab falafel

What a great place. Really good service from the chap on the counter. The falafels and chips were lush and we sat outside with the dogs. Can’t fault. Great choice which is so unusual too! Would give a 5* if I could!

Pros: Spicy chunky falafel , Great service, Vegan menu

Cons: No lock on loo door😱

Brilliant vegan chippy tea - this northerner approves

Visited Llandudno on our way back from combing Snowdon and didn’t expect there to be any vegan options. My son and I were thrilled to find this place using the Happy Cow app and sit on the beach with our battered sausage, chips and mushy peas! The place was heaving full of people making vegan orders - fair play to the woman behind the counter dealing with us all on such a hot evening

Pros: Great vegan menu, Lots of posters about sustainability

Cons: Would be great to see a battered fish’on offer too, Shame it’s not fully vegan

Cracking chippy!

Really appreciated the separate part of the menu & we had a great chippy tea. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

There was vegan mayo on the table and my fish finger and chip main was served with vegan tartar sauce.

Pros: Good choice, Friendly staff

Brilliant

Loved the separate vegan menu proudly on display. Very busy to eat in so we got a takeaway and sat on a bench. Really enjoyed chip shop curry sauce - haven't had this since turning vegan!!

Pros: Tasted lovely , Lots of options

Cons: Minor con but the battered sausage is small

Great vegan options.

Lots of vegan options and cooked separately. We had battered sausages, fishfingers and curry sauce. All really good. The chips weren't the best though! A little undercooked hence knocking them down a star. Saying that I would definitely go back.

Pros: Lots of options, Cooked to order

Cons: Chips slightly undercooked

Vegan chips!

A large choice of vegan options at a chip shop! Options include moving mountain burgers, battered sausage, balti jackfruit curry, ice cream.
I'm surprised that people are saying portions are small, I think they are very generous and after my chips and peas this afternoon I certainly don't need any dinner!

Pros: Vegan options at a chip shop, Large variety of options, Eat in or take away

Cons: Chips cooked to order so may have to wait for them, People feed the gulls so you have to watch them!

Disappointing

Was excited to try this place after hearing about it.

They have a separate extensive vegan menu, which is great. The food not so much. I chose sausage and chips. When the food came out the portion was really small and chips didn't even taste cooked properly. Would expect it to be a lot cheaper for what you get. Overall majorly disappointing.

Hopefully some changes are made to improve on these issues as it's refreshing to see a chip shop with any vegan options at all.

Pros: Plenty of options , Separate vegan menu

Cons: Portion size, Value

Great options for a chippy

Chip shops with vegan menus are very rare so brill to find this place. Tasty chips and burgers. Marked down as service was very slow and portions of vegan chips seemed very small compared to the non vegan chips.

Good vegan menu at this chippy

As others have said, we were extremely delighted but surprised to find a chippy in Llandudno with a vegan menu. We've been a couple of times now and there has always been quite a long queue but it's worth waiting for. The last time we were there, I had the chicken style nuggets with chips and curry sauce and my partner just had the chips and peas. The portions are quite large. We sat on the prom and ate them so it was a very nostalgic feeling eating chips on the seafront. Unusual for vegans these days I would think.

Pros: Great vegan choices

Cons: Sometimes a long queue

Vegan chip shop in North Wales

It’s so great to see chip shops doing vegan stuff, but after having Minchella’s in Seaburn (Tyne and Wear) as my local go-to for battered sausage, this place is a little disappointing. You get one single Richmond sausage for £1.50. Not absolutely extortionate but certainly not cheap. The girl working the till rolled her eyes at me because she thought I hadn’t heard her ask a question when actually she hadn’t heard me answer. And either misheard me asking for loads of salt and vinegar or has a vastly different idea than me as to what constitutes ‘loads’ of salt and vinegar, because it tasted like there was nothing on there. Just let me pour my own salt and vinegar. Apart from those minor complaints, it’s definitely great to go here if you want more than just chips. A thirty second walk if you want to eat on the beach, or there is plenty of time limited free street parking if you’re picking it up to go.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Close to the beach, Ideal parking for pick ups

Cons: Not super cheap, The addition of banana blossom fish would be brill

Excellent but understated vegan menu.

Almost missed dining here on our short break in Llandudno but very happy that we bothered to check out the vegan options. A full page and a bit of the menu dedicated to vegan options, including several deserts. Alas, wasn't here long enough to try more options but the two meals that we did have (incl. deserts) were delicious. Service was great too.

Pros: An impressive range of vegan options., Very reasonably priced for delicious food., Very attentive service.

Cons: Vegan options not well advertised.

Nice seaside chippy

A nice chippy by the seaside. I had chips and curry and my children had the Moving Mountains burger and Quorn nuggets and chips. We also had a side of onion rings. Very quick to bring drinks and serve food. Food was tasty and not at all greasy. Staff were friendly too.

We ate inside but they do have a takeaway on the side if tou wanted to eat on the beach. We got some icecream from the takeaway on the way out but unfortunately there were no vegan options, although it was vegetarian.

Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Very quick

Lovely

Stumbled across this place on a day trip today and couldn’t believe the extensive range of vegan options! So much choice and the chips were amazing. They do dine in or take away option. Lovely to have a choice of vegan ice cream flavours/traditional desserts/cakes too. The ice cream was lovely. Even sell vegan wines!
A real gem

Mediocre

Odd welcome.
Average vegan choices.
Tasty scran.
Vegan puddings.
Ice cream, vegan.

Only problem is it sells meat plus dairy.
Staff using ribald language in cafe, , within earshot, of elderly customers.
Not acceptable.
Even though they think it was humorous banter.
Place is filthy, with chips all over the floor.

Excellent Vegan Menu

We went here on the first night of our short break and weren’t disappointed. There’s an excellent choice of vegan fare, ranging from fish-free fingers to my choice of southern fried pieces. And, most importantly, the chips were excellent. If you’re in Llandudno, don’t miss this. Staff told me they were known as the best vegan-friendly chippie in North Wales, which doesn’t surprise me in the least.

Pros: A good and varied vegan menu - delicious chips, Well-priced, Licenced

Cons: They stop serving at 7pm

Good range of (vegan/vegetarian versions of) British sea side meals, plus a good falafel option.

Worth mentioning that they were open at convenient times - usually when we are on holiday we find there is nowhere to get meals in the afternoon.

Vegan sausage sandwich!

One of the best vegan sausage sandwich experiences I’ve had! And affordable. Love finding classic comfort foods veganized, not expensive, and flavourful. My Nanna had one too (who isn’t vegan) and loved it.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Inexpensive , Friendly staff
