I’ll be back - Edit
Been wanting to visit this cafe for a while and finally got there with my omni and slightly sceptical sister in law.
Read moreI had creamy mushrooms on toast my s.i.l. had the curried soup - we were both very happy with the food taste, quality and presentation and the very good bread. Biscoff doughnuts and coffees were also lovely.
Great friendly atmosphere and service. Will definitely visit again.

Fully vegan, yay! - Edit
Stopped for lunch, glad to come across a fully vegan place in such a small town, definitely something we want to promote and encourage, enabling us full choice of the menu.
Read moreThe oat latte was good, but the chai latte was warm, not hot. The portion sizes were really good, and the food was ok, not ground breaking but good.
Also offered gluten free options, including cakes!
Pros: Fully vegan, Nice service and atmosphere, Gluten free options
Cons: Slight lack of oomph, Broken toilet lock

A dream come true - Edit
This café was a surprise discovery for my friend and me last summer, we've been telling everyone about this place for over a year. The staff are lovely, the food and drinks are delicious, and they've exceeded our hype this year. It's our favourite café, it excites me every time I go to have so many options, and their food is properly seasoned, not simply drowned in chilli powder or left bland. It's a paradise for vegans and people trying to get more veggie options. I can't recommend Pip and Oat enough.

10/10 - Edit
This is my favourite place we ate during our holiday to wales😄lots of options to choose from and food was quick! We sat outside as it was nice and sunny and people watched. We had the Mezze plate, burrito bowl and kebab followed by 2x biscoff cakes and a slice of mocha cake. The food was fresh and full of flavour and not oily/greasy, cake was fluffy and soft. Would 100% recommend and will be back! It was dog friendly too so our dog sat outside with us.

Could be amazing - Edit
Came here after four fails of finding vegan cake in Llandudno. I always support independent venues, especially vegan ones. Unfortunately the cake was dry, I could only have a couple of mouthfuls and I feel as though the additions to the hot drinks make it very expensive. £6 for a small hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows is a lot, even if it is vegan. The actual cafe is a nice setting and seems rare for the area.

Nice and cozy cafe - Edit
The place is very nice, very close to the coast. Everything is vegan. They have several dishes and cakes. The food is good, but the portions are a bit small (they barely served any baked beans). The cakes are good, although a bit dry.

thankyou for your review, glad you enjoyed the food, we do serve half a tin of beans (200g) with each breakfast, we feel this is ample portion for one person along with 2 sausages, 2 hash browns, 2 slices of toast, scrambled tofu and vegan bacon, im shocked you would say this is a small portion and our prices compared to other vegan breakfasts around are very reasonable, next time please ask for more beans we would be happy to accommodate, as for the cake being dry😒if you had mentioned this we would of refunded or gave you a replacement cake no problem 🩵

Food quality disappointing - Edit
The coronation chickpea roll was dry and the filling uninspiring. The side salad was warm! I had rocky road fir dessert which was nice, but warm and melting. It was a hot day but refrigeration felt lacking.
Read morePip&Oat
you visited us during a heatwave, temperatures exceeded 30 degrees!! our bread is fresh everyday, and as for the salad this is kept refrigerated at all times, perhaps it was warm because you were sat in the extreme heat?! again the rocky road is refrigerated before it is put on display and yes in the heat it probably was more melty than usual, what i don't understand is that you didn't care to mention any of this during your visit so that we could rectify the problem, instead at the first opportunity you've come on here to give us a bad review! if you had complained i would have been more than happy to replace your food with something else or given you a full refund

Disappointed - Edit
Disappointed by my recent visit. I had the coronation chickpea ciabatta - there was not much filling, it lacked flavour, and the bread was dry/stale. Also had a milkshake which had no ice cream, it was just milk with flavoured sauce - and it was room temperature!!
Read moreToilet door is also in need of repair.
I won't be returning unfortunately.

Pros: Dog friendly
Cons: Stale bread, Lack of flavour and sandwich filling, Warm "milkshake"
Pip&Oat
I am sorry you were disappointed, why didn't you complain during your visit? instead coming on here to give not one but two bad reviews??? nowhere does it say we make our milkshakes with ice cream we don't have the capacity, our milk is always refrigerated but as you visited us during an extreme heatwave and you were sat in the sun, things don't stay cold for long?! we will look at the toilet door and repair as required - thanks again for your not one but two bad reviews 👏👏

If there was one specific thing I thought you could have changed/sorted, I would have mentioned it. Unfortunately, there were so many things that I did not feel there was much/anything you would have been able to do. It's a more than fair review - I have not been overly critical and all my points reflect my experience. Please note that my previous review last year was very positive, as that reflected the experience I had at that time.
Read moreNo, it doesn't say your milkshakes are made with ice cream on your menu, but that is what a milkshake is, so was what I was expecting when I ordered. "Chocolate milk" would have been a more accurate description of what I was served.
I am not unreasonable and am fully aware that things will heat up faster during warm temperatures and was aware that it was a very hot day, however when it was served to me, it was already room temperature, which was why I wrote what I did.
I have only left one review on this one account.
I find this a very unprofessional response. I understand it can be hard to read criticism of your work, but you could have taken this as feedback to improve. There is no need for the tone you have taken in this response.
I notice you have not replied to my points raised about the stale bread, lacking filling, and lacking flavour.

Father and sons - Edit
Popped with 2 of my sons coincidently on Father's Day. One table left when we arrived. My sons had I think the seitan flatbread and I had the breakfast. Coffee was great and tasted of coffee which always helps. Breakfast was very good and I think just under £10 so very good value compared to every other vegan breakfast I have bought.
Read moreWe sent back in for cake on the way out of town. Staff were friendly and smiling.
Would detour to visit again if we go back to wales.

Lovely vegan cafe, and lovely staff - Edit
It’s such a shame to see a negative comment the same day that we visited! The staff were absolutely lovely, despite the being busy (it’s lovely to see a vegan establishment thriving!)
Read moreWe actually visited twice today, firstly for coffee and a custard slice: both absolutely excellent, and gets my approvable (I’m a self professed coffee snob).
Our second visit was for lunch where I had todays special, the kebab and my partner had the breakfast wrap, both delicious, we took them to take away on the beach!
People should really think about how their negative comments will affect small independent businesses, when it’s something that could have been bought up privately with the staff themselves, who were very busy and probably stressed! Such a lovely place and will visit again in a heartbeat!
Pros: Lovely staff, Great food selection, Good coffee

Rude staff - Edit
I had just travelled up from London to Llandudno after a long journey. I was delighted to see a plant based restaurant in town. When my daughter and I went to the counter to order a take away cake, both members of staff completely ignored us for at least 5 minutes, even though we were clearly waiting to be served
Read moreI appreciate that they may have been busy, but acknowledging our presence and apologies for the wait would have been nice. When we were served by the older member of staff she was pleasant, but the younger member of staff, I presume the boss was very rude. She plonked the cakes on the table, said "there you go" no apologies for the wait and no hello, thanks or goodbye! Definitely won't be going back to that particular cafe again, and after all that the overpriced cake was hard and tasteless! Very disappointed and not the welcome into a cafe you'd expect for any customers!
Cons: Rude staff, , Hard cake, Overpriced! 2 thin slices of cake 8 pounds!!
Pip&Oat
so sorry that your visit to us was disappointing, you visited us on one of our busiest days ever, over the easter holidays and on a bank holiday weekend, we didn't ignore you, we were serving customers that had been there before you, we are not a fast food establishment, we serve people in order regardless of it being a takeaway or not, i always make a point of saying hello, goodbye and thankyou to all my customers, if you had a problem with the cake you should of brought it back and i would of been more than happy to exchange it for you, we charge £3.50- £3.95 for all our cakes which are made either in house or by local
