Food is perfect every time BUT - Edit
Guys,
Read moreYour food is great but your service and organisation is terrible.
I’ve been here half a dozen times over the last 2 years and it’s got progressively worse.
Currently we are standing outside with a group on mother’s day, the group next to us is has people with walking sticks and booked a table for 45 minutes ago and are no nearer to sitting down. Don’t take reservations if you can’t adhere.
We booked a table half an hour ago and still haven’t sat down and are far from it. Then they’ve let a 3 sit down who didn’t have a booking.
Save yourselves and sort this out because your food is insane and it’s that good that to this point I put up with the service but it’s getting to a point that we soon won’t bother.
Please !
Pros: All vegan & fab, Great variety in dishes without losing character, Too tasty for words & SO cheap !
Cons: TERRIBLE SERVICE

Fine vegan dining - Edit
The restaurant was beautiful, like a proper dining place and not some alternative venue, with very knowledgeable staff and a delicious menu. The dessert were great, and the ice cream better even than the dairy ones, very creamy. I highly recommend it.

Not amazing - Edit
I was a bit disappointed with the food here honestly. I found it a bit lacking in taste and to oily for my liking.

All vegan and plenty of gf choices for those who need them - Edit
Been here for dinner before on a Friday evening and I think we were lucky to get a table without prior reservation. Stopped for the buffet lunch on a Monday, when it was a lot quieter. Healthy food that is being refreshed and sometimes replaced with a different dish, which I liked. I would come here more often if I lived closer, but will certainly visit again. Especially as most of the dishes are also gluten free. Friendly staff.

Amazing vegan buffed - Edit
We waited around in Kensington for an hour for 222 to open, and I'm so glad we did.

Disappointed - Edit
The food here was only barely so-so, expected better for a mid-range price. It also took an extremely long time to get our food and the poor server was way over-worked. I won’t go here again.

Good food, long wait time - Edit
Ate here a few nights ago. We got in for dinner before the rush arrived, but our mains literally took an hour to arrive after we ordered them. Once they finally arrived they were pretty good but not worth the fancy price tag in my opinion

Great food! - Edit
Upon visiting London for the first time I decided to try 222 Vegan Cuisine for dinner. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. The only downsides were that the wait time between ordering and receiving meals was really quite long and the venue itself is quite small for the number of tables they have in there. Overall it was still a great experience and they feature an all vegan menu!
Read morePros: An all-vegan menu., The food is fantastic!, Friendly staff.

By far the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been! - Edit
They have some of the best selection of nutritionally dense food and amazing desserts! They have all sorts of colorful salads and hot meals. The staff is welcoming as well. I just wish they open earlier so we have their pancakes for breakfast.

Delicious birthday meal - Edit
We went here, having heard good things, and were not disappointed. The menu is diverse and features classic vegan options including a veggie stirfry, yet also features twists on non-vegan meals, including a seitan stroganoff. I chose the egusi (traditional dish from ground melon seeds) and baked yam. The yam was soft and sweet, the egusi rich and flavourful. The desserts were also delicious and well made. The restaurant has a lovely homely, friendly feel to it, and you can tell that every dish has been made with love. The meals might not be super fancy, but they are delicious, comforting and hearty.

Famous for a reason :) - Edit
A very popular restaurant that is always super busy especially for dinner - make sure to book! Big selection from the a la carte, very tasty food especially everything that is "creamy" such as the Seitan Stroganoff and the potatos with the cottage cheese! Also their chocolate cake is amazing!!
Read moreThey do buffet lunches that's super value for money - all you can eat! I wish the salads weren't soooo oily but other than that everything is great. Do expect a lot of waiting!!!
Pros: nice selection, very tasty dishes, lunch buffet fantastic value
Cons: Long long long waiting, can be very loud - too busy

Incredible food - Edit
Despite its rather dilapidated building and slightly cramped surrounds I cannot fault my experience there. The food was sublime (I had artichoke hearts starter and mushroom stroganoff with mash on request), and a decent price for the large portion. Well definitely be returning ASAP!

Delicious Vegan Dining - Edit
I have eaten here twice now and what a treat it was. There is a great choice of starters, mains and desserts, with daily specials. The portion sizes are generous, service is great and the restaurant has a relaxed friendly atmosphere to it.

Lunch Buffet Abundance - Edit
We stumbled into 222 looking for lunch on a Saturday and were pleased to find an affordable All You Can Eat buffet full of hearty vegan goodness. Every single hot dish and salad was amazing, making it hard to stop eating. I especially liked that they tackle food waste by charging you a fee if you don't finish your plate. Very progressive!

Best Vegan Restaurant in London - Edit
I've been to 222 a few times and every time I absolutely loved it. I brought some of my family and friends (vegans and non vegans) and everyone was really surprised by the food quality. I've tried most things on the menu and loved it. Food is incredibly delicious. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Great food, iffy service - Edit
Food was outstanding, but the service left something to be desired. It took over an hour to get our food and the waitress was a bit rude. We would ask a simple question about one of the menu items like “is it spicy?” and she would say “I don’t know I’ve never had it”. Would like to give them another chance but not thrilled with my experience here.

Book and enjoy ! - Edit
We had booked for 3 and when we arrived at midday there were no other diners but it quickly filled up. It seems like a very popular place for locals who obviously enjoy the cheap all-you-can-eat menu that is self-served from a range of hot and cold dishes. Very friendly staff who provide table service for drinks (including vegan beer and wine). Definifely worth more visits in future.

Awesome food - Edit
I’ve just eaten for two nights running at this incredible little place. The food is out of this world. I’m going to keep returning until I have tried everything on the menu. 100%vegan and mainly also gluten free. Main dishes about £12 and puddings £6.50. Absolutely worth it. The second night I took a non vegan friend and she was blown away. You probably need to book to be sure of getting a table.

Too salty - Edit
The sauce for the raclette is the same as the stroganoff. It’s very tasty, but way too salty for me. Cheesecake was nice too.
