Great food, shame about the service - Edit
I went for the lunchtime buffet here and I must say while the selection was small, it was delicious and you could tell the ingredients were top quality. There was a nice variety.
Read moreMy gripe with it was that the staff were very standoffish and not overly friendly - they were perfectly competent and not rude, but not overly welcoming either, and I felt like how much I took from the buffet was being monitored, which I hate. There was also no sweet option for the buffet.
Given all that, and considering I travelled 1.25 hours to get to this place only to be met with that attitude, I wouldn't come back, but concede the food was great and the a la carte menu looked great too (atmosphere was a bit lacking and overly formal for me as well)
Pros: Taste, Selection
Cons: Location and ambience, Staff

best buffet , ok dinner - Edit
Their lunch buffet is soooo delicious and well priced. Visited them a good few times and decided to finally go for dinner. We were disappointed because the food was very bland! So much potential though as dishes sounded interesting.

The best!! - Edit
This is my favourite vegan restaurant in London! The food is just too good! I absolutely adore their plantain and the parsnip mash is something else! It gets super busy here but that’s expected with the quality of food.

Very cheap, but very crowded - Edit
We were here for lunch a couple of months ago (Summer).
Read moreThe buffet is very cheap (and it is all you can eat), and the dishes were very nice. But (compared with other vegan buffet restaurants we've been to) there weren't thàt many options in the buffet.
The place was very crowded, loud, tables and chairs very close together. Even hard to just move around.
The young lady serving drinks wasn't really welcoming and seemed annoyed.
It is a far stretch away from the center, but we combined it with a visit to vegan shop Greenbay, just next door.
Pros: very cheap, all you can eat
Cons: crowded, not so friendly, very far away

forget loving hut,,,,legit lunch buffet - Edit
Forget loving hut ! Nothing against them, but I was surprised and refreshed that there were no Vegan junk food items. The lunch buffet items are all whole food creations such as Asian stirfry, a chickpea Indian dish, and a hearty, savory cooked quinoa creation. Plenty of raw items as well. Nothing was oversalted. I ate two full plates without feeling gross afterwards or guilty. Recommend, especially if you're on the go.

Great! - Edit
One of the places I would never hesitate to go to. Been to their lunch buffet and the food are very delicious and varied to choose from. A La Carte menu is also very tempting with many dishes, plus the ever changing specials. Very fairly priced, always busy, so def book ahead for dinner. Happy to take any friend there.

great food and service - Edit
Arrived on Sunday evening shortly before opening but the staff let us in early. The menu had a good range of vegan starters, mains and desserts. Food and service were excellent and the restaurant filled up quickly. Price was about £50 for two - will definitely be visiting again.

Nice staff, lovely food - Edit
We went here after stopping in at the vegan supermarket Greenbay just a few doors down - we arrived at 5.15pm and realised that it doesn't open until 5.30 but a staff member (possibly the owner) came out and told us we were welcome to come and sit down while they were getting ready. They have a main menu and specials board, all vegan and quite a few wheat free and some gluten-free options. I had the special chickpea, pinto bean and okra curry, which tasted more stew like than curry, but very tasty. My husband had the mushroom and spinach raclette which was amazing. I had the ice cream (99% sure it's the Food Heaven brand) and my husband had the pancake. Everything we had was delicious and all the other food we saw coming out looked great. The service was very attentive and we'd definitely come back. Even at 5.30 it was almost immediately getting busy so I'd recommend booking.

Decent choice - Edit
Decent choice for lunch buffet, very busy during lunchtime. I liked the food, however the ambience and service were just ok. Myself and my partner tried all the dishes on offer, and left happy however both couldn't digest it for hours. Not sure if it was the oil used, but the food was heavy on the stomach.

Wonderful whole-foods vegan cuisine - Edit
We visited 222 Vegan Cuisine for the lunch buffet and arrived a few minutes before they opened at 12:00. The chef/owner (Ben) himself came to the door to tell us they were setting up and it would only be a few minutes. The restaurant is a short walk from West Kensington Underground station and is small, casual and impeccably clean. The buffet (9:50 pounds when we visited) had 5 different salads and 4 hot dishes along with brown rice. What impressed us was that everything was made with whole foods, unlike many vegan restaurants that serve a lot of fake meat and cheese. The buffet was continually topped up to keep the dishes fresh and Ben made the rounds of the dining area, chatting with diners and taking orders for optional drinks and desserts. By the time we left, every seat in the small restaurant was full with a mixed crowd of all ages and ethnicities. It was obvious that many diners came to lunch from nearby businesses and medical clinics. This will be our go-to restaurant in London, even though it's on the opposite side of London to where we stay with family.

A totally vegan dining experience. It's a small restaurant but has a great atmosphere. The staff and customers obviously love the place and the food is great. Not just well prepared from good ingredients, but cooked or combined in interesting ways.

Posh but a bit busy - Edit
On arrival all tables had reserved sign on top but then they sat me anywhere... Strange, maybe if they don't like the persons face they say all tables are reserved...
Read moreThis is a very posh restaurant but only on the appearances.
My friends food was seitan stroganoff which was quite tasty. I was dying for the burger and it was a huge disapointment. Portions were good.
The apple juice they say is freshly made, it may be true but half of it was water for sure.
I didn't had dessert but my friend said her cheese cake was "ok".
Cons: Expensive, Food not the best for the price

BEST vegan food in London! - Edit
Incredible food and service. My sister and I ate here while visiting London from the US and we loved it. We ordered the Heart's Desire and Bean and Tofu Pancake for starters, the Seitan Stroganoff and Ben's Special for our main meals and the Spice Island Pie and Apple Crumble with vanilla ice cream for dessert. All delicious. Had a chance to talk with Ben the owner and brilliant chef behind this cuisine and he is as wonderful as his cooking. Food is his passion and you can taste it in every bite. Definitely go here!
