DELICIOUS! Highly Recommended

Really good wholesome plant food that tops fine dining places I’ve been to. The place is fairly casual however the food was top notch. Skip the cheesecake though as there are better.

Delightful evening :)

The food was very delicious and arranged beautifully (as you can see in the pictures). We had a very kind and attentive waiter and waitress and the atmosphere was cozy as a whole, too. Comfortable chairs, some calm music in the background😄It was my boyfriend’s birthday and we had a great time.

Delicious vegan food and dessert

So good! I got the tofu stir-fry and shared the pancake with ice cream and chocolate & vanilla custard.

Delicious and awesome

Amazing food and friendly service. I had Ben's Special and Red smoothie with Cappuccino and Cheesecake. My boyfriend had Seitan Stroganoff, Blue smoothie, Cappuccino and Pancakes with Vanilla Ice cream. All of these were super delicious! Definitely 5/5.

Amazing vegan food!

The food here was amazing and I would absolutely recommend you stop in. The gluten free, vegan bread is made in-house and you can definitely taste the difference from store bought bread. Everything is fresh and so good!

Lovely meal

So excited to go to a fully vegan and gluten free restaurant. I loved the milkshake (with almond butter and date syrup!). We shared two mains - the spinach and potato croquettes with tofu cottage cheese and oyster mushrooms, which was delicious, and the stroganoff, which was great. Lovely staff.

Best restaurant and widest choice

I've eaten here since it was under Picadilly Circus. Usually eat Mushroom Stroganoff as its so good. Spacious setting and long opening hours. Best of all there is little or no fake meat.

Pros: More great vegan choices than anywhere else. , Good service, , Pleasant atmosphere

Loved everything about it

The seitan stroganoff was incredible, as was the soup of the day (cream of carrot). For dessert, I had the maple-roasted pineapple but substituted strawberry ice cream for vanilla.... so good!

Delicious fresh food!

I’m so glad this place popped up on HappyCow. I ended up having 3 courses. The menu is quite different to the usual menu in vegan places. Brilliant service, friendly staff, warm welcome.

Ottimo da provare

Il locale è carino, piccolo e accogliente. Il personale, la cameriera è uno spasso! Sorridente, allegra, simpatica...davvero piacevole. I piatti sono abbondanti è belli da vedere e da mangiare, ma i dolci sono il male assoluto... Ne avrei mangiati a quontali! La torta a cioccolato e crema di cocco crea dopendenza

Delicious, healthy and fresh tasting.

Cauliflower and broccoli soup was just so good. Seitan stir fry was so generous with the vegetables and lovely brown rice. Delicious and so hearty. I had a spinach and avocado salad too and it must have been made with a whole avocado. You don’t get such generous portions anywhere like that. Just what we needed. Bean Curry from the specials was lovely too.
This place is not as flashy as other central London vegan establishments but serves what I think of as more real wholesome vegan food. Chef here knows their stuff. We’ll make a point of returning next time we’re in London. What a find.

Best vegan food in London!

I realize now I can write a review on here—visited London a few years ago and 222 Vegan Cuisine was my savoir! I was in different parts of England for about 2 weeks. Made my own food most of the time, then visited London for a few days and happened to stay at a hotel right by this restaurant and was in Heaven! I ate there at least 4 times—every meal was amazing and I highly recommend whether you are traveling or living there. I will definitely go back next time I visit the area. It was my favorite vegan food restaurant at the time of my visit!!!

Lovely restaurant

222Vegan has been around a while, and for good reason! We like the ethics (organic where possible and no microwaves) and the creativity of the menu.

The pancakes and almond cheese for the starters were delicious, as was the stroganoff for the main.

Reasonably priced for food and drinks.

Staff were friendly and did a great job given how busy it was on a Saturday evening. Can get very busy so would recommend booking a table in advance.

Excellent restaurant

The food was outstanding. I got the vegan stroganoff and it was delicious. I’m definitely coming back to try the other options in the menu. It’s refreshing to see an actual restaurant and not some vegan burger place.
