Best Vegan Ever - Edit

You'd be advised to book because this place is popular and busy and for good reason.
Menu changes regularly and it's divine!! Staff are lovely and Ben the owner/chef is visible in the kitchen which is really nice to see.
I'll definitely be coming back :)

Pros: All vegan

hit and miss - Edit

Food was hit and miss. Raclette, stroganoff and dessert pancake were very enjoyable. The bean pancake and the side of chips were not tasty. The garlic bread texture was odd but good flavor. The ice cream was good but the apple crisp was not good. The hot cocoa was bitter, even after adding A LOT of sugar.

terrible tasting buffet - Edit

For £11.50 eat in and £9.50 away, the buffet selection is very small and bad tasting. I usually like pretty much everything, but I found the flavours very bland and boring. In local all you can eat Chinese buffets you can get a much wider, better tasting selection for £5. The chocolate ganache with coconut whipped cream was the best part of the meal, so 2 stars just for that. Overall very disappointing.

Pros: nice desserts

Cons: buffet is very bad tasting , very overpriced food , very small selection

was expecting something a little more fancier... - Edit

Looking at their website, I somehow thought this restaurant has a nice setting.... but it was a very simple buffet place. The food was ok.

very good place - Edit

Had the seitan strogonoff that was to die for! For dessert, the decadent apple crumble! My taste buds were amazed. Love the cosy ambience to the place too.

Pros: ambiance , food , choice

Cons: price

Long time vegans might be disappointed - Edit

Went to this place around 8:30 on a thurday and took the last table, so seems quite a popular place.
The menu was a faily good size but nothing really stood out. Assomeone who has eaten at quite a number of vegan places around Europe, i can say that this place is pretty ordinary. The food wasnt bad at all, but was quite underwhelming. The seitan medalions were not "meaty", rather crumbly, which was odd. But the parsnip mash it came with was lovely. The gravy, however, was rather ordinary. We also ordered the spaghetti, which ended up being cut up. The sauce was again quite ordinary and the quinoa-spinach meatballs were really soft and fell apart really quickly. It was also topped up with a mountain of spinach and left me feeling a bit spinached out. The presentation of the main courses was also not great.
We ordered a chocolate cake with mint choch ice cream, which was much better compared to the main courses and very beautifully presented. The ice cream has a great strong flavour and real creamy consistency that tasted really good for vegan ice cream.
The staff were friendly, if a little overwhelmed and the place itself is quite nice. You could either called it cramped or cosy, depending on how comfortable you are eating next to stangers.
Not too expensive but with so much choice now in London, there are other places to go that might bring up a better experience.

Pros: Nice, friendly staff, Not too expensive

Cons: Ordinary food

Una piccola perla a Londra - Edit

Piccolo ristorantino completamente vegano.

Delicious - Edit

One of the first places I tried after going vegan, so was a great introduction. Menu is pretty diverse and the desserts are exceptional. Lovely place. Would recommend booking though as it’s pretty popular on the weekend/evening.

Great food, shame about the service - Edit

I went for the lunchtime buffet here and I must say while the selection was small, it was delicious and you could tell the ingredients were top quality. There was a nice variety.

My gripe with it was that the staff were very standoffish and not overly friendly - they were perfectly competent and not rude, but not overly welcoming either, and I felt like how much I took from the buffet was being monitored, which I hate. There was also no sweet option for the buffet.

Given all that, and considering I travelled 1.25 hours to get to this place only to be met with that attitude, I wouldn't come back, but concede the food was great and the a la carte menu looked great too (atmosphere was a bit lacking and overly formal for me as well)

Pros: Taste, Selection

Cons: Location and ambience, Staff

best buffet , ok dinner - Edit

Their lunch buffet is soooo delicious and well priced. Visited them a good few times and decided to finally go for dinner. We were disappointed because the food was very bland! So much potential though as dishes sounded interesting.
Will be back for lunch buffet but not for dinner!

Pros: Eat as much as you like at their lunch buffet., take away option

Cons: can be very busy it's a small space!

The best!! - Edit

This is my favourite vegan restaurant in London! The food is just too good! I absolutely adore their plantain and the parsnip mash is something else! It gets super busy here but that’s expected with the quality of food.

Pros: food

Cons: really busy

Very cheap, but very crowded - Edit

We were here for lunch a couple of months ago (Summer).
The buffet is very cheap (and it is all you can eat), and the dishes were very nice. But (compared with other vegan buffet restaurants we've been to) there weren't thàt many options in the buffet.
The place was very crowded, loud, tables and chairs very close together. Even hard to just move around.
The young lady serving drinks wasn't really welcoming and seemed annoyed.
It is a far stretch away from the center, but we combined it with a visit to vegan shop Greenbay, just next door.

Pros: very cheap, all you can eat

Cons: crowded, not so friendly, very far away

forget loving hut,,,,legit lunch buffet - Edit

Forget loving hut ! Nothing against them, but I was surprised and refreshed that there were no Vegan junk food items. The lunch buffet items are all whole food creations such as Asian stirfry, a chickpea Indian dish, and a hearty, savory cooked quinoa creation. Plenty of raw items as well. Nothing was oversalted. I ate two full plates without feeling gross afterwards or guilty. Recommend, especially if you're on the go.

healthy - Edit

Managed to grab a £6 box at vegfest and thought it was pretty good.
Some great salad and vegan quiche although a little dressing would have lifted it. I always have a soft spot for people offering healthy vegan food and think you should visit if you get a chance.

Pros: healthy, 100%, stafg

Great! - Edit

One of the places I would never hesitate to go to. Been to their lunch buffet and the food are very delicious and varied to choose from. A La Carte menu is also very tempting with many dishes, plus the ever changing specials. Very fairly priced, always busy, so def book ahead for dinner. Happy to take any friend there.

Pros: Great food, Fair price

Cons: Very busy so book for dinner
