amazing vegan dim sum / Chinese food

Best in the city. Try the veg pork buns, Chinese broccoli, general tsos, "beechi" mushroom rice roll, hong king noodles...it's all great! Much cheaper during the week for lunch. Gets crowded on weekends after noon

798 Road , Beijing, China

awesome vegan Chinese food

06 Jan 2014

One of our favorite vegan finds in Beijing! Great Buddhist cuisine with excellent service, very peaceful atmosphere and English menu with pictures. The mock meats in particular were great. Also worth checking out the surrounding art galleries in 798, where the restaurant is located.

Nishihara 3-11-6Sugimoto Bldg B1F, Shibuyaku, Tokyo, Japan

great vegan options, Chef speaks English

06 Jul 2013

Maybe 4-5 veg / vegan options available , all were really good and cheap too compared to other Tokyo spots. Soy fried chicken , smoked tofu , soy meat gyoza, etc

Easy to find and just ask for English speaking chef she will explain the menu for you (but menu has English labels)

38/1 Srasong Rd, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Hua Hin, Thailand

either closed or really hard to find

18 Jan 2014

Couldn't find it. And we found the other 2 small vegan places nearby so don't think it was our inability! Someone else should confirm its open and if so fix the directions

Soi 94, Hua Hin, Thailand

solid Indian, vegan options

18 Jan 2014

Standard Indian veg dishes like dal, sag aloo etc. just ask for no cream - waitress understood. Get roti instead of naan. Veg pakora is good. Close to G hua hin hoy, easy to locate

Daida 6cho-me,16-20, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Japan

doesn't appear to be open

06 Jul 2013

Tried this place twice during posted hours because we were around the area, never open. Not sure if it has been on vacation or what, no English posted in door so can't read it

34/1 Ratmakka Rd, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Best veg food in Chang mai!

06 Jan 2015

Easily our favorite place in terms of variety, quality, and vegan options. All the dishes we had were great - our favorite was the dish called "spicy Thai". Mock meats available. About everything can made vegan (some dishes have egg or dairy). They also offer a small cooking class we did (it's literally upstairs in a small room with 2 burners) but it was really good and informative. You also get to pick 5 dishes of your choice from the whole menu which is amazing. The chef Ka was super nice and explained everything in English clearly. We then got to eat it all for our best lunch of the trip. Gets crowded after 7pm in the evenings.

some vegan options

27 Feb 2015

They made me a vegan breakfast burrito with soyrizo avocado and veggies. Was pretty good! Good smoothies as well.

Sa Song Road, Hua Hin, Thailand

good vegan Buffett

18 Jan 2014

Mock meats and noodle / rice dishes. Sort of a "hole in the wall" set up but the food is excellent. Very spicy! Little English spoken but enough to get by, and you can buy some little vegan treats they pack up to go! The same as the other vegan Buffett near by basically.

Soi 70 Petchkasem Road, Hua Hin, Thailand

the better of the 2 vegan buffets

18 Jan 2014

We liked this one better. Very spicy so bring your water. As I said for other Buffett: Mock meats and noodle / rice dishes. Sort of a "hole in the wall" set up but the food is excellent. Very spicy! Little English spoken but enough to get by, and you can buy some little vegan treats they pack up to go!
