nice small restaurant in 978 (or was it another number??) area. friendly stuff. very nice menue. we have been different times there and we love it!

798 vegetarian - Edit
beautiful little restaurant and tasty food. they have a lot of vegetarian meats if that is your thing - fake salmon, liver, fish, chicken, pork. we had a vegetarian sausage that just seemed like tofu cubes, but it was good.

awesome vegan Chinese food - Edit
One of our favorite vegan finds in Beijing! Great Buddhist cuisine with excellent service, very peaceful atmosphere and English menu with pictures. The mock meats in particular were great. Also worth checking out the surrounding art galleries in 798, where the restaurant is located.

I confirm. It's a very good restaurant. Tasty and beautiful food and cosy atmosphere. A refined place for a good price.

If you're visiting 798, eat here - Edit
I recommend visiting this restaurant if you're exploring the art galleries at 798. The atmosphere is soothing, the small restaurant is clean and cozy. Food is Buddhist style vegetarian, with mock meats and a nice food presentation. The menu is in Chinese but has pictures. Some of the teas might be a bit more expensive. Though a Buddhist restaurant, they also serve wine and beer. Definitely the best option at the 798 area.
How to find it: Turn south from the 798 road at the Art Cafe, walk down the small alley, the restaurant is behind the corner on the left.
